Akro makes some nice exhausts for bikes and seen some for cars as well. They are stupid priced for cars and not sure I get the trade off. Not a big fan of this one and sure it’s over $5,000-$7,000.

Guess you're right - I don't have that sort of behind the wheel experience that you currently have, just a handful of times in my case. Perhaps the microphone flattened the audio a little? @@ElegantPotatoes Yea there are sound DB tests on a lot of c8 exhausts you should look them up. And this one ranges about 9DB higher than most. Which what ive read from is about double the noise we hear as humans. The best option ive found is this exhasut setup with Soul performance Cats. If you have a Z51 exhaust setup get the cats!!! they are a game changer for the price. Where do you stay? If you are in the Northern Florida area there are a ton of nice places like Sebring and Keystone. They will teach you on the spot as well... Thats where i learned. I put around 15,000 miles on my 3lt on those tracks alone. Zero issues besides brakes and tires lol. I baby my 1LT. its the spec i built so i use the resell car to drive on track lol
I agree. Or at least there’s not enough difference to justify the price. I’m still looking for a good aftermarket exhaust though, even with the performance one I have it’s not loud or aggressive enough for my taste.
I’m on my second C8 and I can confidently say they sound nothing like this with the Z51 exhaust. Which is why GM is working deals with Borla now and Corsa soon for GM performance exhaust choices on new builds.

Iv ebeen lucky enough to get behind the wheel of one with the factory performance exhaust - it sounds no different than this in track mode.
I have driven my C8 z51 for around 3000 miles on track only. It is extremely mild compared to this.
