Such a heartwarming story! Geese get such a bad rap, they are highly intelligent and very social. I lost my 23 yr. old white chinese gander in Nov. of 2021 after raising him from a wee gosling. He was widowed twice during his life but luckily, being a human imprint bird, I was his first true love. Knowing him was truly, a once in a lifetime experience. He was so smart and knew about 20 words and commands, just like a dog! RIP Marwyn, gone but never forgotten!
Being a goose owner whose goose who lost his mate my heart goes out to both of them. So glad they found each other. My goose now lives happily with 3 Muscovy drakes who are also bachelors. No worries they are all happy and well.♥️🦆😁

We as humans can learn a lot about life from nature. People who loose the other half are never whole until they find someone else. If your always at odds with your other half maybe you need to think about what joined you in the first place and fix your problems Because life won't seem complete alone. Not every relationship is that good but I'd be lost without my wife, she complete's me. Sure we argue but we always find our way back. You can argue just don't go beyond the argument content and insult the other person to win the argument. That can drive a wedge between you.
Seeing Blossom look into mirrored things was so sad, if it wasn't misinterpreted. The story is very cute and heartwarming. We humans can't replace a spouse so easily. If we could, just turn around! That said, if this is a tale of companionship for years, I'm game. I hope it works out great for them.
I don't think it was misinterpreted, Geese, ducks, swans, and other animals that mate for life experience deep and profound sense of sadness and loneliness when they lose a partner. There is a news article with pictures of a swan who literally drowned themselves after they lost their "swan". You could probably find the article easy enough if you Google it. Absolutely heartbreaking story. The woman who put out the ad for this goose did an amazing thing.

I slowed down to get him/her to fly off so they wouldn’t get hit as well. It flew beside my car crying /honking for about a block. Such a mournful sound. It was 25 years ago and an experience I’ll never forget.💔
