Giggle. This nurse at work always hugs me whenever she arrives on the unit. She does it only when I’m the only around. One time she called out my name as she knew I was in the adjacent room. I responded by calling her name as I passed by. Saw her smile and bite her lower lip(she had her back somewhat sideways and probably wasn’t expecting me to pop up that quick).
She could be freaking out because she is up set because she was looking to see you or not.
I have an idea.. Making a proper first impression.

Girl in the gym has given me all these signs.... She gazes through mirrors & distances, avoids me at 3ft distance,
Saw me & freaked out at the elevator and took the stairs 5floors down....
The issue is she comes with her Husband/ boy friend/ Friendzoned guy , i don't know who....
Despite that she still STARES at me... and when i catch her eyes she looks away OR gets touchy with her partner
Also I haven't seen her talking to a single woman in the gym... but only men

About 30 percent of my imagination fits within the context of humor. That's the way it's been for so many years. In fact, I smile too much; so much so that I still wear a mask where I work even though I don't have to.
My male coworkers seem to appreciate my jokes and funny stories more than my female coworkers. My sense of humor is all G rated. Am I doing something wrong?

Freezing up? I thought it was fear. It certainly feels like it. Since leaving the Navy, openly practicing my martial arts, keeping mostly to myself, save for a couple of instances when I had to threaten grievous bodily harm to someone, I figured it was simply fear. The other signs, maybe here and there, but honestly, I'm one of those boring, nice guys, that women would love to use, so maybe.
Something that came to mind. You probably don't care, because you are honestly far and away more knowledgeable and established, than this old nerd, from Texas, but in the event that you believe I comment constantly, to try to "debunk" anything, I'm not. What you put out is genuinely good, and it helps the phyche, to hear a positive message. There are many men out here, who are normal, who are productive, scandal free members of society, who never cheated on their women, who handle their business, and we're tired of being put down. I do present the opposite side, though. We don't just attract the woman that use and put us down. We sit back and observe, listen. They feel justified, and applaud each other, for treating the good men like garbage, while running open armed, to the abusive deadbeats. There are heaping piles of skepticism, out here.
But truly, never stop. It's great to hear something different. May never happen for me, but different messages are healing.

I will admit, I sometimes still feel like an incel despite having a girlfriend, probably because I feel that my 20s were a waste, didn't have a serious relationship until the beginning of my 30s.
It causes me to envy and resent couples out there younger than me, people who got to experience having a serious long-term relationship before I did and yes I know people will always say comparison is the thief of joy or don't compare yourself to others.
But I believe it's always has been and always will be part of the human psyche, been that way since the beginning of time to feel upset and depressed when you feel you are not part of the norm.
Because of that I feel like a forever permanent incel for all time, even when I did manage to get a girlfriend.
So yeah even while I did have a girlfriend, I still felt like an incel.
I don't see myself ever getting over this, it will be a pain and wound for the rest of my life.
And I'm not afraid to admit that there have been times over the years I have hated being born male, because I know I'm not the only guy in the world that has this mindset, that men have to do everything in dating and relationships and seduction.
Yes I know tons of people say what's the point of being angry and depressed over what didn't happen in the past or not?
Well I'm entitled and I have a right to my mindset, I believe it's always been part of human nature or just the human psyche to always be sad and depressed or angry and resentful over good things that they wish happened to them in the past but didn't.
I know I'm not afraid to admit I have had these thoughts, and I'm sure other guys have thought this way, we feel that if we had been born a woman, we would not have been single that long.
Probably because women just have to exist and they are guaranteed attention and options from Men, that requires no skill or no social dynamics, no game or no seduction.
Guys, men, have to know or learn all of these skills, behaviors, talk a certain way, behave a certain way, act a certain way, walk and stand a certain way, breathe a certain way, have a certain lifestyle, because leading or taking the lead is something that is behavior based, skill based, think a certain way, and many more things, that i either don't know or forgot.
Women just have to exist and breathe and they are guaranteed attention, options, that doesn't require any learning or skill development, it mind boggles me and makes me annoyed when people say women need skills to succeed in dating.
One person I remember I heard said that women need game as well which I thought was the stupidest thing I ever heard.
So ya I still feel like an incel for all time despite managing to get a girlfriend eventually, and I still get irritated and annoyed whenever people and society say that men have it better than women do in the human mating game.

Part of being a man is dealing with all the adversity with courage and dignity. It hurts but this is a flawed and unfair world. Just be the best you can be. I believe good things will come our way in due time. If it doesn’t work out then at least we tried. To be a man is to struggle, but we soldier on son.

When I see a woman freeze up she was hoping you wouldn't show or you would show up depending . She could freeze up because she never knew you where going to be there and they are upset you are there and they are so mad they don't know what to say. Been on that end . There's she is looking for you so she can get out of a situation she may not know as many people there and knows you can get her out of trouble. Been there an instanting story about that. She was board and is looking for you so she is not as board or to get her out of there. Yes she might be looking for you because she wants to be with you but there can be more than that to.
I have a girl from work I think like me but she has never hugedme but I have made eye contact every day more than once and she says hi and goodnight every day I see her at work but I really don't want to get my feelings hurt cuzz it's happened alot over the past few years
@coach, help me! I had a little fling with my mother's friend, who I ended up visiting at her home to see were it would go but I always felt she was hot and cold. Fast forward, nothing happened between us although I always made the first moves and finally called it quits. Now she comes over to my mother's house where I currently live with the pretext of visiting my mother but in reality to see me and that I notice her. She freezes and is nervous when she finds me home and I let her in or offer her a drink almost like there was nothing there between us. I actually make the first move to greet her or make a casual comment and she lights up and mirrors my body language but at this point it just became stagnant and as much as I would like to give her another opportunity and don't want to be used and have my time wasted

What if there is months in-between each time that I see her, I don't understand why I am ghosted for so long? I become hopeless and depressed. Friend zone, and how to get out? Also ,"like"(But, during the ghosting I have met another on line. I want to be what they want as well, but its all scary because I hate rejection. I don't want toxic women! I tired of this its way too painful! And things that they say to you that make you feel bad about yourself. I never understood this and why they do this!)
