Guy fleeing a traffic stop because his daughter might have been shot - arrested and "mandatory" $500 fine Guy who actually shot the gun and could have killed the daughter - no real jail time whatsoever Yeah... That makes sense. 😒
There are so many people in similar situations that break traffic laws by speeding to a hospital or to their kid and they get let off the hook I wonder what country this was in
That poor OP in story 3. Losing both your parents in a year. But when it's worse knowing your dad was a serial killer and you had to hide that 10 years. I feel so bad for him.
There is a story by Stephen King that is similar, I think the name of it is A Good Marriage. They also made a movie, but if you are into reading definitely read it first.
I feel so sorry for the guy in story 3. Hope he learns that he was just much of a victim of his father as anyone else involved with him. People can judge but he was a kid who had to grow up with this. Can only imagine the psychological damage that would do to someone. Hope he finds closure one way or another.
While I understand the need to arrest him, given the circumstances, he should have gotten a much lighter fine. Much like the moron who shot off his gun while impaired. He could have accidentally killed his daughter. Not ok.
For story 3…if the story really is true I want people to know a wife perspective. To the kid worried about breaking up his family by telling the truth. There’s a saying that every woman can be psychic up to a certain point. The mom knew for sure something was ‘off’ about her husband. You don’t stay in a marriage that long without realizing her husband saying some strange things to her over the years. She had a serious raised eyebrow on him and watched him like a hawk without him realizing it. She may have even wanted to leave him. Seriously.. then thought the same thing her kid did. ‘I don’t wanna break up my family’. That one discovery could’ve been the reason she needed to actually leaving him.
He/she should've seriously taken the photos and called the police. He and his mother were in danger, he would've saved more people's lives, and the asian man's family could've gotten answers and justice. I can't imagine how hard it was for them not knowing what happened to him for all those years.
@@samoriab5999 Even as an adult he never did the right thing. He shouldn't have called his dad with an ultimatum, he should've went to the house, waited until his dad left and then searched for the photographs and once he found them called the cops.
@@KD.... or tell the cops the story but explain to them that if his dad knows the situation he may dispose of the album, so try to get the cops to launch a surprise search. The narrator in story 2 sounds just like my overprotective dad! I’m 27 and he’s still like that! I don’t think it’ll ever change but he’s a great father so I’ve learned to accept it over the years. However my dad also struggles with major anxiety for many years, especially when it comes to his kids, and he’s even admitted to it. As his daughter I try to be understanding and supportive and try to see it through his perspective since I’ve never been a parent, but I also had to be honest with him and tell him he can’t continue to let his stress and anxiety affect his life and other’s lives. I hope one day he can make peace with that advice, but even if he doesn’t, I won’t love him any less. Anyway that was a fantastic and touching story. I’m sorry he got punished by the law for following his parental instincts. If anyone should be arrested and fined it should’ve been that irresponsible fool playing with his firearm. This is also another reason why not everyone deserves to own a gun. I also like how the dad acted quickly the moment his daughter called for help and didn’t “brush her off” like these other “parents” I hear about in these Reddit stories.

I have always said you never EVER truly know anyone and stories like this prove my theory.

Sometimes you have to put other things ahead of your feelings if you really think about it and what's at stake (in this case, the unsolved disappearance/ possible m-der of a person). He made that particular choice once he was older, if you recall from the story. He was no longer a child, this happened once he got older and got a call from his sister after his mum had already passed.
When it comes to BTK, his depravity is only matched by his stupidity and ego. Imagine being so desperate for people to know your crimes that you mock the cops then believe them when they tell you they can't do something. Thank the gods he was caught and arrested.
Story #3 I'm a little conflicted. He was just a child and probably scared to tel anyone. It's not his fault. If you read this it's not your fault. You couldn't have known your father would go on and hurt others. They were be very traumatizing to find. I probably would have told my mom but hey you didn't. Still not your fault. Hope you have healed and can move forward.
If he hit the gym with enough regularity to build up his core strength & muscle density anybody could be that dense. It just takes some dedication & know how. You could even be that dense if you wanted.
You'd be surprised at how many families have skeletons in the closet in order to keep the 'family' together. Maybe not as serious as story 3 but so many people keep silent when they shouldn't have to.
Story 2 made me so mad. I can't believe they still arrested him after his daughter was taking to the hospital. Cops make me so mad. They don't listen to anyone. The judge should have gave him a slap on the wrist and that's it. I don't think he should have gotten a 500 dollar ticket. The law is BS.
@@NathanSylbreon police aren’t always rational most of the time. Some will shoot you, and some will cuff your down before you get a word out. I’ve seen it happen before
Imo, the kid in story 3 doesn't deserve such harsh criticism. He was a kid, and he found photos of his own father doing something despicable. It's hard to get your brain to jump to the conclusion that your own parent is a serial killer when you want to believe otherwise, so his mind tries to explain the photos away. Secondly, he's worried about his own safety. What if he went to the police and they didn't take him seriously? What if he told his mom and she didn't take him seriously, and she told her husband what her son had reported? It's not hard to imagine fear paralysis taking place in a situation like that, with a young kid. However, his actions as an adult are completely ridiculous. Letting it go for so long and prolonging the suffering of the man's family just because he's afraid his mother will be upset about it. If she's a decent person herself, she'll be happy to learn the truth and will immediately leave him. Then he gives him an ultimatum over the phone? That part honestly makes me think it's fake. It's so obvious he's gonna destroy the evidence. I don't believe anyone would make such a stupid mistake but that's just me.
I feel for the guy in story 2 but he should have gone to therapy a lot earlier. He unfortunately wasn't doing his daughter any favors by being overly protective.
So I'm a mother with a 20 year old daughter and she grew up in the hospital, she was also almost kidnapped once when she was 11. The anxiety over being scared to death that something's going to hurt her or take her away from me, can literally ruin my life. There's times that she has not picked up her phone and I've gone into a full blown panic attack hyperventilating it is terrible.. so I too have really had to work on myself, I'm also a Christian so I have to put my.. but that anxiety over your children is the worst feeling in the entire world.. because I know that me and my family are not above any terrible awful thing happening. It doesn't help that my friend's daughter who had a cognitive impairment was lured away by some teens and was kidnapped brutally murdered it goes on and on and it's just awful.. I said that story really tugged at the heartstrings
Story #2: that father didn't deserve to have to go to *jail!!* Wtf??! If the girl was one of the cop's children in the same situation, you can bet your sweet ass *he or she* would've done the same thing and been above the law. Idk where that father lives but the cops *and* the judge are absolutely heartless. The father doesn't even have a record of any sort.. Way to traumatize both father and daughter even more, watching her father in the back of a cop car for trying to save his daughter. 🤬
if he just stopped and explained to the cops he probably would've got an escort back to the apartment or he could've asked his daughter more on the phone he was reckless but in the end I agree he should've been acquited
Figured I share in hopes someone would get a chuckle. First time I was left home alone, a bat got into the apartment and was flying all over the place. Figured out it got through a hole in one of screens in a kitchen window. When the window was open our cat would lay on the windowsill. She clawed a hole just big enough for this bat to get in. It was summer so the window was open.
I was just reading the story about Nancy and BTK (Dennis Rader). There are movies/documentaries about this killer/his victims/the person who survived BTK.
The only horror of being home alone was having to baby sit my younger sister and keeping her from having a complete melt down if our parents were even one minute late 😑
I'm new to your channel, and absolutely loving it so far. I'd recommend, if you haven't already, doing an episode on the dark eyed children. Seems like it would be right up your ally.
I can't believe the cops were so heartless to arrest that for one and trying to protect her kid they had every reason to let that one go and even the judge I can't believe he did not drop the charge after finding out what happened definitely corruption
To the girl with the serial killer father. Your punishment is that you can't forgive your yourself for a mistake that was so beyond anything any adult would be able to handle, never mind a child. I hope one day you find some peace and find a way to love yourself
I live near park city and one of my old high school teachers literally knew Dennis Rader. In one of my classes we got to research serial killers and BTK was off limits - due to the fact that it was so close

Yessss brother! Perfectly timed! In bed under the warm covers with my earphones in at 00 :10 ready to hit play and enjoy being scared 😁😁 you're one awesome narrator dude 😎 peace x
I have a home alone story when I was a kid. I'm 58 now and just starting to be able to sleep in bed when I'm home alone. I'm crazy to listen to these stories but I'm trying to desensitize myself from these fears. Maybe I'll write in.
Damn I've got my hallway closet all cleaned out, and it went by fast thanks to this video. This was so entertaining and the stories are CAPTIVATING lol. Thanks Joel 😁👍🏼
I listened to all these scary home alone stories when I'm home alone. I feel bad for the innocent people who got hurt!🙁 God bless them!🙏I hope the father in the third story isn't a serial killer. I also feel bad for the mom who got cancer! I wonder how she got it.🤔 I also hope the man in the last story will be okay! Pokémon is my childhood!
Funny how you find pieces of yourself within each of some of those stories, isn't it...? The first story perfectly states how I felt as a child, always missing my mother as she was always working hard and extra hours (back when I didn't even KNOW it was possible for adults to have weekends and day offs, since my mother worked all the time) so I had to fend for myself most of the time. Of course I had my family close, basically next door neighbors, who would "take care" of me, but most of the time they were never good to me if my mother didn't give them some extra, so that means I was basically alone, I never really liked my family. They thought that a small child wouldn't remember things... which brings us to the 3rd story. I can relate quite a bit to it, my family has always had some dark secrets that are still untold to me to this day. For some reason they all decided to leave me out of them, since cousins my age seem to know those very secrets. I usually prefer paranormal or, my very favorite, demon encounter stories. But man... real life stories can often be a lot more terrifying and sad. That said, I really did enjoy this video unlike most real life stories.
Story number 2 pissed me off, ur kids in danger you have the complete right to just go to them I don’t see how it’s right to just put him in jail while his daughter is in the hospital hurt
To the young man who's father may have been a serial killer: first of all it's not your fault and you shouldn't have to bear the burden of your father's crimes. Your girlfriend is a jerk, first for not loving you enough to stand by you and give you the live and support you needed, but because it wasn't you who committed any crime. Your father was a coward as are most serial killers, they like to inflict pain, but when it comes to bearing any pain or shame themselves their just cowards. The same goes for abusers, they love to dish it out but can't take it. You sound like a wonderful well adjusted young man who has strong moral values . When you found those pictures you were a kid and couldn't even begin to process what it was about. But you did the right thing and no matter what the police find you are not responsible for the acts of another. Trust me your father is now paying for his crime(s) and will for eternity. You have to move on and realize this isn't a dark family secret but sins of your father's. I'm amazed at your bravery in going to the police and for protecting your mom who was innocent. Your a good man and don't listen to anyone tell you anything else. I've lived a long time and met some pretty awful people who tried to pass themselves off as ",good people or even worse good Christians" all of them will get what they deserve eventually. God says the wrath is mine, so we should never take it upon ourselves to do the will of God when it comes to evil people. I pray you will she'd yourself of this burden and live s good and happy life. You will find a woman who is worthy of you and I pray you'll live happily. God Bless you and please stay strong.
To the man in story 4. I’m so sorry. What a horrendous thing to find out about your dad. Your hero. I find no guilt in you. I probably would have done the same thing in keeping that secret until your mom couldn’t be hurt by it, and your sister was grown. Early on, you were simply too young to know what to do. And your heart for your mom and sister is a testament to your love for them. Every bit of this story is your dad’s doing. Not yours. Be free.
To the person who found the pictures of his dad….. Don’t, don’t b so hard on yourself!! U had no idea who your dad was, and, as young as u were, u were protecting your family. U were a brave young man! U took the burden of protecting your family onto your own young shoulders! U could never have fathomed that he was a serial killer….. !!
Story 3 gets me so angry, I can have some sympathy for them, I understand their worry for their family and when they found out they were only a kid but I'm angry for that victim and all potential victims of that man. His family won't get closure because you protected your own interests and waited so long to actually say something. You didn't want your family to be broken, but what about his family? They never got to face your father in court and they'll never get to see him sentenced for what he did.

So it will make it creepier, especially at night looking for a face or silhouette appear through a window etc
Really enjoy the posts you put out this round. What a wide array of random yet somehow connected narrations. 🎉
When it comes to BTK, his depravity is only matched by his stupidity and ego. Imagine being so desperate for people to know your crimes that you mock the cops then believe them when they tell you they can't do something. Thank the gods he was caught and arrested.
Apparently, narcissism makes you stupid.
Thank you for your soothing voice sir. It helps me in the morning, during long car rides, as well as at night before bed. I truly appreciate you.
Story 3…so frustrating. That kid turned adult handled it all so, so badly.
But atheist his dad didn't kill him to keep it secret i mean once a murderer always a murderer
@@hblover3231 he isnt even 100% sure if his father did "the deed"
love this fella's outros sm man
Ugh. I just need you to narrate a complete novel because I binge your videos and then have to wait impatiently for you to drop another lol
Just binge, then repeat! It's fun! 😉🙌🙃
The more you love your decisions, the less you need others to love your decisions. ♡
Love listening to these and the different voices make these stories amazing 🤩
Since I moved to a bigger house these stories scare me more than any other kind 😅
Thanks Joel! Have a good night! This makes my night exciting… 😊❤
Story 3 op can't be real
Nobody is that dense right
If he hit the gym with enough regularity to build up his core strength & muscle density anybody could be that dense. It just takes some dedication & know how. You could even be that dense if you wanted.
You'd be surprised at how many families have skeletons in the closet in order to keep the 'family' together. Maybe not as serious as story 3 but so many people keep silent when they shouldn't have to.
Thanks, Joel. ❤️
Hooray! What a great way to end a long ass work week. 🙃
Thank youuuu 🌟🌟👑👑
Story 2 made me so mad. I can't believe they still arrested him after his daughter was taking to the hospital. Cops make me so mad. They don't listen to anyone. The judge should have gave him a slap on the wrist and that's it. I don't think he should have gotten a 500 dollar ticket. The law is BS.
he could've just stopped and explained it quickly to the police probably would've got an escort to the apartment
Love ur narration thank u let's read for the uploads truly appreciate it lotsss..
Can't believe those cops arrested the dad. No humanity
I will save these stories for bedtime. 😁💜
I feel for the guy in story 2 but he should have gone to therapy a lot earlier. He unfortunately wasn't doing his daughter any favors by being overly protective.
I agree.
Listening to the stories while HOME ALONE!
Let's read Ur jus great.what a consistency..🙌
Let's read I love your stories I smoked a bowl of weed and listen to your stories you're a great narrator 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤❤❤❤
Exactly 💯
Fully agree with you on that, screw the cops!
if he just stopped and explained to the cops he probably would've got an escort back to the apartment or he could've asked his daughter more on the phone he was reckless but in the end I agree he should've been acquited
@@NathanSylbreon he literally did explain, though? And they didn't care about that, only that he committed a crime by evading them.
Girl literally dodges a bullet “we dodged a… really bad disaster” cmon 😂
I think this is one of the best set of stories. Insane.
JOEL, Do you ever fall asleep to your stories?
The cops couldn’t just let it go when they realized he was racing home to an emergency?? That makes no sense wtf
I haven't been active online for a hot minute lol but awesome to come back to one of your new vids!!! keep it up man!💯
As of being the youngest out of my two older siblings and now living with my father story 2 got me, now I understand father
right about to go to sleep and gotta wake up in 4 hours.
seriously thank you
I was just reading the story about Nancy and BTK (Dennis Rader). There are movies/documentaries about this killer/his victims/the person who survived BTK.
The only horror of being home alone was having to baby sit my younger sister and keeping her from having a complete melt down if our parents were even one minute late 😑
This is giving me Labyrinth vibes- 💀 just don't call on the goblin king please
I'm new to your channel, and absolutely loving it so far. I'd recommend, if you haven't already, doing an episode on the dark eyed children. Seems like it would be right up your ally.
Have a great weekend everyone
literally in love with you joe
I realy enjoy listening to your voice. I love these home alone stories to listen to!
I can't believe the cops were so heartless to arrest that for one and trying to protect her kid they had every reason to let that one go and even the judge I can't believe he did not drop the charge after finding out what happened definitely corruption
What happened to protect and serve? Police have leeway to not arrest this man. Dad had a logical reason for running. I'd do it too!
To the girl with the serial killer father. Your punishment is that you can't forgive your yourself for a mistake that was so beyond anything any adult would be able to handle, never mind a child. I hope one day you find some peace and find a way to love yourself
Dinner time entertainment!
I live near park city and one of my old high school teachers literally knew Dennis Rader. In one of my classes we got to research serial killers and BTK was off limits - due to the fact that it was so close
Thank you for the upload that voice of yours is so soothing 🤍story 2 hell I would have driven like a mad woman to get to my daughters there my world 🇳🇿
Another great upload
Thanks for the upload read
That 2nd story…… oh my God…. Hits deep as a parent… oh my gosh
You're smashing it mate! ❤️🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧❤️
More Home Alone stories!
Missed opportunity to say "dodged a bullet"
Damn I've got my hallway closet all cleaned out, and it went by fast thanks to this video. This was so entertaining and the stories are CAPTIVATING lol.
Thanks Joel 😁👍🏼
as soon as I heard “ hello Nancy“ I couldn’t stop picturing the people as nightmare on Elm Street characters
Love what you do♥️ Thank you
I listened to all these scary home alone stories when I'm home alone.
Wow the guy from story 3 was very dense
To the kid who had a serial killer as a dad, in my estimation, you are as guilty as him, and I hope this haunts you for the rest of your life!😡
Losing both your parents is really rough even though your dad did something really evil
Loveeee your voice and love your videos always on before bed
Let’s goooooo. 🤟
What better way to end a 14 hour day.
I am so sorry but Joel’s one voice impression in the 1st story sounds like Sylvester Stallone 😭🤣
Have a good day 👍
so good
Goodnight 💤
My mom grew up in a shotgun house in Arkansas with her and 9 brother’s and sister’s! Love my family!
What's a shotgun house? Like a house made out of thousands of shotguns? Or was it a house made to look like a huge shotgun?
We have them all over NC. I've always liked them!
NGL the third story was bone chilling
I love the intro music
Dropped during loadshedding 🇿🇦
