Porsche 991.1 Carrera Coolant Flush and Fill (2012 - 2016)

If you are going to drain the coolant you will need the proper refill tool to refill the system. You cannot just pour the coolant into the reservoir. This will not fill the system and will damage it if you try to run the vehicle this way. We use the Schwaben coolant refill tool with great success.

The final step at 4:50 says to "Plug in your scan tool". Can you confirm whether the Durametric supports this function? Most of us don't have access to PIWIS. Thanks.

I think we were just chatting on the Pelican site. I am not if Durametric does. Best bet is to ask them. I know PIWIS and iSCAN sf will bleed ASM and should do cooling system.

quick question on the bucket of 5 gallon ,is that already diluted with antifreeze ? or what is it that you have on that bucked ?

Yes, we add premixed coolant.
