If my people, who are called by my name,
will humble themselves and pray and seek my
face and turn from their wicked ways, then I
will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their
sin and will heal their land.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!
This is so true. Big Crappie love that thing
We catch 5lb Spotted Bass regularly here on the Lower Coosa on that lure; been using for about 10yrs now. I got my PB Striper on it; a 16lb 12oz beast- on light spinning gear! I have the perfect homemade heads for it. Custom eyes and life-like paint schemes, wire bait keeper, single strand 70lb fluoro weedguard, all at the perfect weight. It truly catches everything that swims!
Thanks Richard for takin us with you. I hope you know how much your videos mean to folks. Really look forward to your videos.
Appreciate you taking the time to show the equipment you use and the tips you give on rigging jigs.

Fishing machine is RIGHT!
Yes, it is a great set up for the saltwater flats, back marshes- sight casting reds and specs. When they are super spooky, that small & light presentation is the ticket.
Thanks for the great methods & tips! I like the floss base for the S glue to bond to with the fluke - that using your noggen!
Great fishing tips and certified fish catching advice. Thanks for sharing.
Richard man u should be Richard gene the Elmo machine
Brag: About two weeks ago I purchased that bait and rigged your 40lb mono weed gard on the same size head, plus I dipped the tail in that same sauce; RGTM style. It’s been real good at night fishing around the lights.
I haven't jig fished since I was a young boy! Richard Gene the fishing machine makes me want to pick up a jig rod and go fishing!!❤❤
Thanks for the entertainment and the tips!
crazy glue works good little cheaper as always great video 👍
Gel sucks....$1 @ a discount hut.
I'm glad your local to me.. Richard reminds me a lot of my grandad and so many others around his age around here
I was channeling some inter-gene on my last trip. My brother caught a 3.81lb crappie. Had a little woo in the mix!
Going on the wall?
@@mikewest712 Yup that one is. We let every big crappie back but this one was the exception
@@KEYSTONE_SLABS I'm the same way. I have kept 1 crappie for tax man in my life.
@@mikewest712 Yea one guy was hating on my video because we kept it but little does he know we have a taxidermist in the family and if we want to still eat the fish we can take the filets right to the pan after it is skinned out for the mount. No waste!
Go fishing when you can because it's good fer ya
I've got to say Congratulations on 298K Subscribers! You'll be at 300k in a few weeks and 500k by summer I bet! It's been fun to watch this channel grow!

Good morning Richie.
Thank you so much.
I’m surprised it gets that cold in Tennessee.
We haven’t hit the 20 degree mark up here in New Yuk.
I’m just waiting for April now.
You are so helpful brother.
God bless you.
Good job it. Makes me anxious here in N. East Ohio 31 light snow and a skim of ice

Going to bass pro tomorrow for me it’s like a kid trying to sleep for Christmas morning I’m going to get this exact set up and see how I do, thanks for the tips good luck to me 🎉
Man, I saw you do this on another video and have been doing it ever since. This setup slays spotted bass!
Skinner back. 😂
Love, the fluke!
GREAT RIG MR. GENE
Fried crappie on a cold evening...nothing better!! God bless!
Awesome video Mister Richard always look forward to seeing your videos keep up the good work and go catch some more big ones
Hey Richard, Could you wrap a tiny little barb on there. Love your videos and your ingenuity. Lets catch some crappies!
How can you NOT love an outfit called “Crappie Pro”!!!!
Awesome Mr. Gene,,, Thank you!
I love that video!!! Thanks for showing us your tips and tricks, I learned a lot watching that. You are a fishin' machine 👍🎣🇺🇸 💯
Thank you, Richard!
A highlight or Sharpie marker is another good way to add color to your plastic baits.
best fishing content on UA-cam!
Still anticipating my coming down to the tenn River. Hope my day..days...are half as good as yours. Working on putting some of your rigs together as well as the weedless kind. Thanks Richard for another awesome tutorial on the greatest sport on earth. Keep Slangin and Keep Hangin partner. God bless you and yours as always.
I like the Zoom baits. They are softer than other brands and seem to be more productive.
Great Job! And thanks for that bit of Grand Finale action at the very end! 😂
That extra work on that jig head saves money
Richard, I thought about you over the thanksgiving break. Was fishing Wheeler and caught a sauger on a square bill. Also caught it on the back. Good sized too.
Great idea you have given me on the jig head to the soft lure. Thanks
One of the best you tube fishermen. Hats off to ya.
I use those drop shot rig for speckled trout they work awesome
Great fishing and an interesting video. I wish we had any kind of fishing like that over here in England. 72 years old, still active but no such sport. Thank you for sharing.
Get yourself out on a boat drop shotting for perch, I do it up here in Scotland .
I would love to see you do a clean and cook please!!! Thank you for another great show
Those roadrunners or any underspin heads work good with those too.
Merry Christmas Richard
I used the garlic dip for years crappie fishing. Works good.
Love these lures zoom "baby flukes" catch slab crappies all day. Much love Rich
I used a nearly identical rig all summer except i had a pen rod. Iike to poke the hole with something dull like a toothpick (helps make a straight hole)
God bless u Richard
You are an outstanding teacher. Thank you for this tip. 12-2-23
Another Classic! Great video and Thanks for sharing!
ACC Jig Heads utilize a wire barb to hold the soft plastics instead of the lead collar. VMC also uses it on their “Mooneye” heads, but not sure how small you can get em. This will save you the flossing work.
My brother makes our heads. You're right; the single wire keeper is the deal. Lead barbs split the bait too easily. He also puts in a single strand of 70lb fluoro for a weedguard, a #1 black nickel hook (that isn't too long for the bait), and then he airbrushes them different, ultra-realistic colors. The lead is ³/¹⁶oz but the total package comes in at ¼oz, making it PERFECTLY balanced. It's truly a killer!
Gene, do you know a good guide for crappie in yourl area.
Your info is good advice and works good , be safe and stay positive everyone.
Excellent info thanks from the beautiful state of California!
"Opens the cooler packed with fish" 😂 Fishing Machine 🎣
Those flukes are excellent for catching hybrids to when jigging off the bottom. I also like those crappie magnet shads too because they have a bigger profile and are very durable baits. They don't tare up as easily as bobby garland and you can catch 20-30 fish one jig.
Hey Richard, made up 7 lures following your video, going to Goose Creek Reservoir in SC to give them a try 😃 thanks for the awesome videos!
that’s hands down my favorite bait. It also works awesome on a drop shot.
So I'm guessing it'll work on a carolina rig as well, will it? Never used it but more and more people tell me how effective it is...
@@TermlessHGW you let me know!!! I almost never run that rig.
Why dental floss?
@@ronniemartin8391 it’s just something for the glue and the bait to hold onto.
I use this exact style of fluke (not a super fluke) but I also use "Fin-S" flukes by Lunker City (Identical). I use it on a Carolina rig so that it suspends easier. They destroy small mouth bass on rivers.
Yep, this bait is a winner in any waters where threadfin shad are a staple for the resident fish.
I have been using this setup with the albino shad color with a bit of spike it. Spots larges cats and crappie. I even use it with the jig heads with weed gard. Works every time
Looks like a good spot. That's a nice jig.
Another hit! Thank you for taking the time to share!
Love this bait! Your should get with a company to make the jig head to your specification. I would be your first buyer!
This ain’t no crappie 😂
All very nice fish sir, thank you for sharing. God bless you and your whole family...🙏❤🙏❤🙏😊🙂😀
Great video Richard! 👍
What lake were you fishing in this one?
Good info!
Wow . . . I mean Wooooooooooo . . . another great video, RG. Thank you! Keep 'em coming.
Brother, you are a hidden jewel of UA-cam ! You remind me so much of my uncle it is sorta' scary. His sense of humor was borderline insanity ! He literally sang and recorded a song that played at his own funeral ! Blew everyone's mind ! His final joke on me I believe was as I helped carry him to the hearse from the Chapel.. It struck me in those few moments that his name was PAUL... So I was legitimately a PAUL BEARER... That struck me as funny and I was fighting back laughing as I carried him. Just the way he would have wanted it. !
thanks richard i always learn something from your videos
Thank you for all of the great content and videos. I look forward to each and every one.
Great tips and another awesome video, Richard. I'll be up there on Guntersville soon. Hope to see you out there.

Thanks for sharing!!
We use it with no weight just one small hook thru where the eyes might be. Slow twitching. Weightless. They'll kill it can't resist it. Sinks very slowly.
Cool video very informative. Showed the bait how you rig it and caught a bucket full.
I swear I must have just missed seeing you out there! One day I will see the legend.
Richard Jean, you’re the man love watching your videos
