Excellent!! I’m so glad I had the chance to see you complete the second stage of this painting. The glazing really makes it come alive!

That's my personal taste but I think that painting was more interesting before glazing

Hi Stuart, could you please tell me, and others , where you buy the red you like to use in your sky’s . I believe you mentioned it as being Chinese Red .I also would like the product name of oil paints you use , and the name and contact info of the shop you get your oils from in France , please . I love watching your art studies . I need to learn to relax and loosen up more . I am so critical of myself when the painting I’m working on is not looking as I picture in my mind . On the other hand , I don’t know when to stop and walk away . The painting will look great , then I start picking at it , thinking if I just do this it will be better . Then I ruin it ! It drives me mad !
I Love watching your lessons . They are calming Thank you for giving me hope in myself that I have a chance of improving , Theresa

Stuart another wonderful class! The painting demo's are wonderful! But the 'Chat' session adds another demension to the class experience! I'm amazed how much I learn during the Q and A (aka- Chat) session,

Mistakes! Fie Stuart, all very well managed in a haphazard way - just like the countryside really is, dirt and all.
Love poppies, simply done - perhaps a twinkle of forgetmenots in the path.
    Smashing.

I don't paint flowers much, I mean other than the mere suggestion of flowers and very seldom do I do that. This would be a good way to brighten up a painting. Thank you.

Good show, but thought I would get some poppies to further my Stuart Davies education.

impressive in its simplicity and apparent spontaneity. have you applied this technique to pastels or was it developed from pastels?
