Just found this video,is that a split exhaust manifold on the 6 cylinder,Fentons or the true 53,54 corvette exhaust maniford which I considered the best sounding.
how does it ride after you lowered it? i lowered my 1950 Coupe 3" using the same blocks and 3" shorter springs, but i left the same shocks and now i feel every bump, some time i bottom out in the rear. is that happening to you? awaiting your reply.
Actually no, that isn’t happening. Though we haven’t driven it a ton since this swap, early drives indicate that the feel is about the same as prior to the swap. Technically, it shouldn’t feel different as the stroke of the shock hasn’t changed. Perhaps you’re now hitting your bump stops? Maybe you just need new shocks?
normally a car looks much better with a forward rake, you don't want to look like you have fat chicks in the back... either level or a little lower in the front, never lower in the back, that is an east coast tail dragger thing.
Willl also add you did right with the lowering blocks, now a set Lakes pipes.

Can attest, looks (and sounds) mean in person now!

Don't hit a pothole with that set up !
Ha! Yeah! It actually isn't too low, so I don't anticipate any issues with potholes, speed bumps, etc.
