Would like to add something.If checking petrol engine then start the car drive for some kilometres and then check the heat level(should be in mid position),open coolant reservoir and start engine,if there are too much bubble coming up avoid that car (minimal bubbles are ok).For diesel engine drive the car for some kilometres and open the dip stick and see if black or white smoke coming up or not,if coming then ignore that car!

why you're focusing on oil condition too much during the start of the interogation??
it can be replaced during servicing.... nothing to do with the engine condition
Hi Sunny, I agree that engine oil can be replaced however the condition of the engine oil has a lot to do with the condition of the engine. For instance, if the car has a blown head gasket, no matter how many times you change the oil, it will always immediately reflect in the condition of the engine oil (forgot to mention in the video). Make sure that you transfer car insurance while buying used car. This is the most important checkpoint missed by many experts. I purchased one without transferring insurance so now I have to buy new insurance with 0 NCB.
You anyways loose the NCB since the insured person's name changes.
@@parth30214 yes NCB will be set to zero but policy won't be invalidated if you transfer it. Otherwise, you will be carrying the invalidated policy.
@@EVSpaceYT correct, transferring in that case is important. Otherwise even though digital records will show valid insurance associated with the car but the new owner can't claim it in case of an incident.

You can even take the help of local car mechanic to inspect the condition of the used car.

Hi, the second owner will not get to know the price at which you bought your bike unless you by mistake leave any of your purchase documents or contact details of the previous owner where he could call and ask him about the details. Only hand over the required documents, RC, Insurance and pollution. Keep all other documents with yourself unless the purchaser asks for it.

This car should not cost more than 1 lakh 75 thousand...thats my guess....anything above 2 would definitely be a deal breaker ...coz then as a buyer I would opt for a new car by stretching a bit more

How much less kms should a 2nd hand car runed??
Modern car engines are built to run Lakhs of Kms without needing much maintenance or an overhaul, so the primary thing one should consider according to me is the condition of the engine, i.e., the way it was driven and maintained by the previous owner. If it was maintained well, there's no harm in buying a car thats even run a lakh kilometres.
