These guys must do this all day. With all of Devon's videos...that's an intense amount of information to try and remember, a zillion techniques to work on. Proof of just how much more there is to the game than power.

Ligaments and tendons don't heal as quickly or fully as the skeleto-muscular structures. They aren't as well vascularized, and are designated support machines, not mean to exert a ton of force or be load-bearing. Ligaments sometimes fully heal, but they can take a very long time to do so. Most athletes prefer to break a bone or tear a muscle, because it heals quickly and forms a callous which makes it stronger.
I hope you (and Devon) fully recover. There's lots of good info out there.

Just joining a club (due to Armbet app) and this is a great video for a newbie like myself to know what to expect going in. Devon you should promote some of these old videos in your newer stuff and encourage guys to go back through your channel and check these out!

I really wish I could train with you guys. So knowledgeable! You both are an asset to everyone that gets to train with you. Seriously envious of anyone that lives near these monsters.

I try to base my practices on this philosophy the best I can. Sometimes table time gets a little competitive but we try our best to rein it back in and actually work with each other. Real max efforts in safe positions. Steaming eggs.

Man i wish i could have practised with guys like you back in the day. We just armwrestled to kill one another!lol We did progress but in a slow and injured way , sucked. I would love to start up again, its been since the late 80s early 90s. i use to pull with willy conrad, ed mckenny, neville beachey, greg boyes. All of these guys are now no longer pulling. I will have to hit the gym lol. I really like the videos that you put on here, very informative. The sport has come such a long way.

I'm actually taller than that in real life. Devon and I are almost the same height, the camera angle is wrong here.

I think Devon did some damage there (UCL) way back in the day. It was against Canadian Earl Wilson (the first time he beat him). With proper rehab I think anything is possible. Maybe he can respond if he sees this.

Hello there Devon. You did not cover the frequency of armwrestling table training sessions. Do you prefer to pull once a week for 1hr30-2hours or 3-4 hours once every 2 weeks. I personally don't feel 110% recovered after 7 days and like to take 14 days of rest and break it all down again. What are your thoughts?

greetings from Croatia Zadar... One question champ what do you think about the 7x7 training routine i do every second day 3 exercises of 7x7 for forearm and 3 exercises 7x7 for biceps and once a week i pull with my crew. and every second day is a different exercise for the same muscle. could you give a routine for building some more strenght in my arms? should i do high reps or low reps or a combination? oh and how often isometrics.. rock on high hookers....

I strained my UCL (inner elbow ligament) a few weeks ago. Has anyone ever done that and returned to arm wrestling as strong as before it was strained? I really want to return to the sport, but my elbow is still not fully healed. I want it to be 100% before I return, but I am afraid that my elbow will not be as strong as it used to be, even after rest and building it back up. Any response sure would put my mind at ease. Thanks!

He said eat. Stretching or icing is up to you. Try it, and if it helps, keep doing it. If not, forget about it.

LOL ;-) Do you have any plans for rematch with Paul Maiden whom you lost to (4-2) last July at Armwars?
