Once again we're probably recommending a mooring you've already used or gone past, but Danes Moss is a lovely spot with big shops near by. Gurnett Aqueduct mooring has short stay and long stay if you look at the signs carefully, and Sutton General Store and Post Office is a short walk across the sheep field. This shop has a great selection of fresh veg.
we have decided you pair have an unfair amount of nice teeth for one relationship. hand some over 🤲🏻 ps loved the lock song 🎶 and i’m glad i’m not the only one that finds driving duty abit boring in the locks 😂
Ha! Emmie has good teeth! Mine are okay but I like the black coffee too much! I like driving, it's much easier to think of lock songs when you aren't really doing anything!
To make a long story short I tore my groin muscle doing just what you were doing with you little hope skip and jump took 2 years out of my life with 2 surgeries on my groin . Take good care of your selves. H I hope the weather clears up there for you 2 .
Oh no that sounds awful! Not sure which hop skip and jump you mean, walking to Congleton, or trundling coal! Hope you're fully recovered now and no further injuries all round x x
Emmy, I thought bashing about in the lock is a normal event in narrow boating. The important thing is to keep at it eventually the bashing about will get to be less and less. I really enjoy your Vlogs! I was wondering why you aren't closer to the services as you are trapped. Are you still obligated to move? Stew I agreed with you when you were out in the quiet mist listening to birdsong, beautiful nature WoW! Can't wait until the next Vlog! Mark in Colorado
A bit of bopping is normal, but I kept heading in a bit diagonally and bouncing off both sides by mistake! 😅 Yes, we are still required to move as there is still plenty of canal between the two blockages. A lovely place full of nature to be trapped though 🩷 thank you so much for watching along x
@@bobbing_along Thanks for replying ☺ x Great! You won't regret it. Seek out his other books too, especially the little pocket book, Food for Free. You couldn't go wrong with Robert McFarlane either. Take care xx
🩷 ooh I've (Emmie) read a Robert MacFarlane book I think, but forgotten the title. It was beautiful descriptions of walks and my favourite was a dangerous walk to foulness island (I think) where the walk is revealed when the tide goes out but the gleaming wetness is disorienting and you have to have a guide so you don't accidentally walk out to sea

Sending love, light and blessings to you both once again ☺ xx Have you read Richard Mabeys book - Nature Cure? Take care xx
Thank you and the same to you! ☺️❤️ No, neither of us have read that but have now looked it up and want to, so it has been added high on the list! X
