'I've looked at it with fear and trepidation in my heart... and just said a little prayer that nothing goes wrong' 😂 SUCH a beautifully verbalised MOOD
From one boater to another, love a boat tour. Thanks guys. Emmie your hair looks great short. Definitely summer hair. Autumn is well on the way. Hope the new engine is all working well.
Just saying hello really ☺. Oh my goodness Emmies hair! Or lack off 😂. And Stu, you look like a black beard disney pirate☠ me hearty. Using up bits of wood ... give my late husband Terry a piece of wood and he would make you something, loved it. Admin, mobile phones and computers not so much, bless him. Maybe a more current boat tour once the engines done and you've done other bits and bobs that you want to do after the recent upside disaster? Sending love, light and full moon blessings to you both 🎸🎨🐽 xx
Yes, I think our appearances have changed more than Annie's in the year or so since we recorded that video. We may do some decorating, once all the more immediate work is done, so maybe we will do another boat tour after that! Thank you for watching, sending love back X❤️
That was probably the most entertaining and candid bout tour I have seen. It was a really good idea using the two-tear-old video and giving updates during the video. It's a more complete picture, somehow....and of course, the difference in hair!... Well done, and thanks for sharing this with us.
I would have kept the washer and tried to downsize anything that could be considered unnecessary. Otherwise you are always looking for a laundromat. You can definitely see that narrowboats are short on storage space, but that just makes them super cosy. You are a collector of books. Me too. However now that I have an iPad, most of my books are stored on it. Love your vlog. You have a wonderful relationship. Lovely to see.
Thank you for watching! We wandered if we may regret getting rid of the washing machine, but we have never minded going to the launderette and that cupboard makes for a good larder in winter. Emmie uses the library and the Libby app quite a bit. The books she has are more just ones she couldn't let go of! Thank you for your kind words. X
Thank you! Sadly our engine issues are not resolved, but we have a pretty good solution, we think! You will have to keep watching to find out what! Boop!
Thank you! Annie always felt quite grown up to us, which i think was part of the appeal, though I think we would like, at some point to make the interior a little more us! We also have a few MLP bits here and there! Thank you for watching! Boop! X
If you had the option, would you change the layout or keep it as it is? I would have removed the washing machine too. I'd rather the space over convenience. Have a great week
Yes, absolutely. I love how open plan our main living area is, but if I could, I would take out, maybe 4'-6' and create a storage area between the engine bay and the bedroom. Maybe storage on one side and a desk on the other. It would be nice to have somewhere proper to keep my guitars, tools, Emmie's portfolios and other bits and pieces we like to have on the boat but don't use regularly. The desk I would use for clean guitar works, wiring, polishing, etc. That would be nice, but not doable. What I would like to do at some point is make a new sofa frame. The one we have is bulky a bit useless for storage and not very comfortable to sleep on (it's not a sofabed even though it looks like one). I'd put in a sofabed (or just design it to be big enough for a person to sleep on), with storage and maybe try and accommodate a second proper seat for the dinette, rather than the padded box we have now. That's all got me thinking now... You have a great week as well!

Thanks for sharing. It's amazing how every cubic inch is used for something: no wasted space.
And yet we'd love more storage! 😅 Thank you for watching ☺️
Love the boops!
This is the first video I’ve watched of yours and looking forward to going through some more 😍
Ah yay! Thank you! ❤️

Thank you for watching! Glad you found it interesting!
A new engine!?! 😮 That will mean we will see less of the engine bay in future! Good luck, hope it all goes well.
Hopefully we all see less of the engine bay in future!
