    Hi Hannah. Thanks for all of your videos! You do a great job breaking stuff down and being transparent about your journey. Have you ever put a real life photo on any of the Printify or Printful products? For example a picture someone sent you of their dog. If so, which products did you use and how was the qualify? I haven't ran across any video from anyone showing real photos so I'm not sure if it's even possible with POD.

    Thank you for amazing content! Perhaps my question is silly - but when crossing these niches, do you still search for low competition keywords before designing? Or does the cross niching works well by itself?

    • @hannahebeling
      @hannahebeling  10 місяців тому +9

      Not silly at all. I think it’s a great idea to do both! I also use lots of long tail keywords that someone might search for like: cute nurse shirt for Halloween or nurse shirt for boy mom.

    It's crazy how fast you are wow. When I first watched this video I was like " Thanks now I can nail it faster". Then as a beginner i tried to do like you but I noticed the experience difference, that was a brutal awakening. 😂 The main issues is managing the shiny syndrom as a perfectionnist and knowing what to change at first sight to make it ours, unique and standing out. You are doing it so well here in a matter of seconds. I took 1 hour for my last design wtf. 😂 That's why I'm so impressed by you. But I still think I can do it and with consistency in quality. I need to try more your method without overthinking. Thks a lot!

    • @hannahebeling

      The optimize quality is just going to download the image a little higher quality, but it's not necessary for your designs on POD as long as they are the right size. It will take a couple seconds longer to download, but it doesn't hurt to do it either way.

      If you use inches instead of pixels( ex. 14x18) for the art size, then you would set the DPI to 300. That is similar to a size of 4500 x 5400 pixels @ 72DPI... I would use inches and set the DPI to 300 just for clarity. Either way it works out the same though.

      This is a great question and many sellers have different opinions on it. I personally try to find mockups that look as close as possible to the actual shirt from Placeit, but I don't stress if it's the same brand or not. I haven't had any complaints, but if you are very worried, there are many shops on Etsy that sell packs of mockups for most of the common brands.

    Question: if someone else is selling the same words but everything is diff, does a store get blocked by Etsy? I am confused as a new seller. People can literally get the same ideas without having seen it, copied it, etc.

      Lots of stores sell the same phrases and styles. That is okay as long as it’s not trademarked.

    Hi Hanna, I notice that you are coming up with phrases on the fly. Shouldn't we check all our slogans to make sure they're copyright free before we start designing? Also, are Kittl graphics and fonts 100% copyright free? I know Canva's are not even on a paid plan. Thanks

      Yes, you should always check phrases before designing or posting. And on Kittl you have full commercial usage for anything you use or create!

    My problem isn't the shirt designs my problem is the mock-ups how long it takes me to create a mock-up and the actual listing is the most time-consuming part of creating a listing....... And I think that's because I'm overthinking what needs to go into a listing rather than just pumping them out or copying them and pasting previous listings I'm trying to make each one unique I have 55 listings I just started in october, October 13th to be precise, and I have 43 unique tags so I think that is the thing that's really bothering me down to create listings quickly. Any advice from anybody would be greatly appreciated thank you so much in advance

    • @hannahebeling
      @hannahebeling  7 місяців тому

      Mockups can be such a bottleneck in the uploading process. I have found that having just a handful of mockups that I rotate through works great. I also used to try and make every listing unique, but the reality is, most people never visit your shop, they only see a single listing. My new video for this week is actually addressing this very topic too!

I definitely wouldn’t just copy the niches I have made because thousands of other people have seen this video. Use this as inspiration to make multiple designs in a niche you find.

    I love your videos but this one kinda discouraged me as I spend about a day for one design+mockups+listing. I know I need to be faster and I hate how long I take but I don't like to just have a premade template and change one thing or two, I like to make something unique mixing premade elements with my own artwork :( I clearly need to change my strategy 😢

      I think it's awesome to make totally unique things too! I just like to encourage people to not spend hours making a single design because it can be disheartening when a lot of amazing designs don't sell which is often the reality of being a pod seller.
