Yeah, learn Spanish! It's so fun to be able to understand other people, other cultures, and improve ourselves... I naturally speak portuguese, bc I live in Brazil. But since all of our country neighbors speaks spanish, I've learned it very easily. Now, I'm trying to learn italian bc it's very similar to the ones I already know! I learned English trough the internet along the years as well.

(London Christmas Tree Rentals) where you rent them in a pot and once the holidays are over you send them back to the farm to continue growing the next year. The wood could always be used as firewood but if your looking to eliminate cutting down a tree but still have the experience of a real tree maybe look into places near you that might do something similar. I just recently bought some air-dried clay from my local art store. Buy Christmas cookie cutters, roll out the clay, use the cookie cutters on the clay, let them dry out for 2-3 days, then paint them!!!! So much fun to do with the family! Happy Holidays all!!!
In our household we have a real Xmas tree in a pot, it stays outside most of the yr and then we bring it inside for Xmas, we’ve had it for 8yrs now and it’s about 6ft. Win win really in terms of sustainability and having a real tree 😊

In our family we pick one ornament every year for each person (if we find ones that we like), since some of them do actually break. Some family's have plastic ornaments, but we don't like those at all. After a while you have a whole tree full of ornaments with memories and stories.
I love and appreciate how you guys are such conscious parents & let Malakai experience things / touch things on his own-- my parents were overly cautious and didn't let me do anything even remotely risky and were so overbearing that it was really damaging and made me like.. weird and afraid all of the time (something I had to teach myself how to grow out of). Super inspired by your videos bc I want this someday soon and Malakai is the cutest baby Ive ever seen :( :(
Live trees are actually sustainable! My christmas farm trees plant 2 after chopping one down, and they get turned into mulch or decompose. Plastic trees, while reusable, will stay in the environment for a long long time. But both have their pros and cons!
There’s this store called Green Thumb in Canoga Park and their Christmas decorations are so cute! They’re definitely really cute and special. There’s also this store called Rock Paradise really close to it and they sell really awesome crystals and stuff!

On my tree I have candy canes because they can be eaten after. Pinecones, dried oranges, acorns on string, cinnamon sticks on string. It Smells amazing looks amazing is cheap and things you can easily get and reuse xx
You need the kids hand print Christmas ornament and baby's first Christmas. One year I made old seed packs in to ornaments just punch a hole in the top of a used seed pack and put a twine in the hole and tie to tree. Put a picture with the date on it of you and your family by the tree on the tree each year you can make the picture frame from sticks you get.outside in your garden.
i moved to south america when i was ten lived there until i was 22, and i learned spanish super fast and now im fully bilingual, i cant express how amazing it is to know two languages, you literally have two whole ways of thinking and looking at life in your head. I think when you learn spanish its important to learn latino and hispanic culture as well, just because it will help the language stick easier and make it more fun and useful. start doing Christmas arts and crafts! 70% of my mom’s living room Christmas Tree is all decorations I did at home, daycare, or school. My Mom also did this tradition where every year she gifted me 2 ornaments from things I did or really liked that year. Something you and Taylor could do for Malaki as well as each other!
