if y’all teach malmal spanish now, he’ll be a bilingual king for the rest of his life. i wish i had learned it at that young of an age bc it’s so much easier to learn languages when you’re super young and the cortex in your brain is super big!
It’s actually about the way children are being taught the language (surrounding them with the language instead of teaching them in a classroom) more than its about their brains cortex

One way to make sure Mal will be truly bilingual would be a language immersion school. (I think the country will change sufficiently over Mal's lifetime that being fluent in both languages will help him out a lot.)
i went to a spanish bilingual school kindergarten-high school graduation. i’m white nobody in my family speaks and i’m fluent. it has helped me in so many areas of life, mainly just being exposed to a different and beautiful culture. i think everybody should help there kids like that. can’t stress how much it has changed my life
@Layan Alghamdi it‘s about the age too, until you‘re 6-7, it‘s the easiest time for you to learn a language but once you‘re 18 and older, most people can‘t become fluent even if the move to another country where they‘re surrounded by the language
I really like who Nash became in life, went from a vine star and did not let the fame get to his head like alot of “influencers” who just flashes money and their wealth but instead got a beautiful family and cares and speaks out how to change our world. Malakai is one lucky boy with good parents ❤️

I love that you guys are teaching him ASL because that’s such an important thing that I think should be required to learn. You’d be surprised the struggle that deaf and hard of hearing people have had to go through. They literally created their own culture because of it, so to bring that culture to his world now will help him and others in the long run.

I love the way this family wants to make the world a better place for their child. They transmit so much good energy in each video, not to mention the beautiful moments that Nash captures. Malakai is going to be an incredible human being, and it will be thanks to the things that these two teach him and teach us every day. Just a beautiful family with beautiful ideas. Love this.
appreciate the sentiment and its true looking at our everyday practices and changing. But also as an influencer Nash I hope you can also put the lens on corporations considering they have done thousands more damage to the Earth at a speed no individual community or human can destroy. So also realizing more power to the people to make corporations change their practices or just go out of business.

the waste/consumption of one of us will NEVER even come CLOSE to the waste/consumptions of all these corporations who love to push "eco-conscious" behaviors on us.
not to say we shouldn't be mindful of our planet, and one another, but we should be aiming our demands at corporations rather than one another

I love being more conscious with clothes washing! Here are some things I have learned from my research, on the quest to more eco-friendly washing:
- Switch to powder detergent! It is more concentrated, and therefore can be packed tighter=less carbon emmisions from transport! Also, it is often packaged in cardboard boxes:)
- Make sure you dose your detergent correctly, if you put in too much soap, it can go into the waste-water, and then pollute the ground/water:( Oftentimes, there is a guide on the box for the specific brand you are using.
- Fabric Softener contains surfactants, those are really hard to break down in nature! I recommend just skipping fabric softener, it isn't necessary!
- Use the "eco-friendly" programs if you can, they use a lot less energy when heating up the water.
- Wash on lower temperatures - often your everyday clothes can be washed cold or at 30(86 fahrenheit) degrees:)

Another way to create healthy soil is to tarp areas down for an extended period of time or laying down card board (which doesn’t look pretty but is effective)! I recently took a permaculture tour locally here in Fallbrook where she talked about soil health and all natural ways to kill weeds and improve soil by working with the plants and environment around them and not against them. It also will help in preventing sun burn on areas that get a lot of sun exposure and have weeds growing in to protect the soil. The place i toured is called Finch Frolic Garden in Fallbrook and they are doing scheduled tours where everyone wears masks and stuff. Very educational and completely changed the way I look at gardening/land management. There may be properties like this near you open for tours and instruction.

A tip you should test your soil if it is acidic or basic. There are easy testkits in the internet to find that out and when you know, just plant those plant that survive in it and tada with some love all your plants will grow!!

I’ve been watching Nash since I was in 4th grade (I’m going into my senior year) and I just want to say he’s always been so humble and seeing the way he and Taylor parent Malakai is absolutely beautiful. They’re both such amazing parents and he’s going to grow up so healthy and loved. As for Nash, he keeps growing and becoming a better and better person and I think that’s super admirable.

Healing the soil is where it's at- there have been a lot amazing discoveries on this recently. I recommend reading about it, it will help your garden. The book The Hidden Half of Nature as a good place to start and watering with compost tea.
