just finished this project put the laptop on the box side and followed your steps religeously Very happy with final result and believe this is the best method i have seen . Thanks a million for taking the time to post this . More fun than buying a new box !
I see a lot of people saying that the angle in the back should be 23. I was wondering how straight that body line was in the end. I like your way of doing it
I'd be interested to see more of the cutting and welding processes, maybe see the seperate pieces before you do the assembly. Maybe when you do the marker light video. Looks like a solid method, I've watched several approaches to this on different videos and yours makes the most sense for me and my abilities. Spot tack removal/bedstake removal was unclear for me though.
@@coyotecustomshotrodsandmet9138 that's cool, I've got a pair of bedsides cut down now using your video as a guide. I'm no welder but I've got a buddy that will put them together for me, so far it wasn't horribly difficult thanks to your insights. I eliminated the marker lights this time, but I've got another spare bed and two complete trucks to go. The idea is to practice on the extras then when I've got it down, do it to my daily(and z cut the frame). Thanks again Sir
I've got two sets of bedsides and one truck all the way done now. they're not bad considering my limited welding experience. any way you can pm me a price to do the bedsides on my daily?( 72 c10)
Maybe I'm the only one but short beds are overrated I've had mine for 15 years and it's just hell for real work. If I had it to do again I'd definitely buy a long bed.
Best video on the internet for 67-72 bedsides
Did one last night and going to start on the 2nd one tonight.
Serious Props to you!

Massive thanks to you man for doing this video. You really show a brilliant way to do this. Thanks for helping all of us out. Cheers!
Hands down best informational video I've seen yet for these beds. And props to you man for doing it for free 🤘
Excellent work. Very clear directions. Greatly appreciated, thanks!
I really like the way you do the front edge. Just taking my bed apart today.
Very very detailed, thank you.
Man that looks good. Gotta find someone in San Diego to do this to my C20.
Great job!
Great video! Will the angle degree for the rear cut be the same if I cut the 12 inches right after the side marker light?
👏🏽👏🏽Really Good Explain Videos..👌🏽👍🏽Like your Videos

Seemed like a lot of stuff happened off camera at about the 20 minute mark to me.
I will be making a video on welding tips and tricks and wire I use and heat I run

well done very cool
What the measurement of your square for the angle line?
What size wire are you using &the heat setting....nice work
0.30 wire with 75/25 gas
How much do you charge?
Slick. Is it possible on the front cut, to hide the entire weld line behind the stake pocket?
Unfortunately no I wish
Good job man! Now let's see a 60-66 lol
Doing one in a month I will trying to get a video of it
Someone knows of a book that indicates the measurements
At 2:49... what's the measurement of that first mark? How much of a jog do you recommend there?
3 inch?
