fuck, this riff is so heavy and it's a normal Drop D? this literally proves that down tuning guitars does not mean heavy sounds

yeah it's just lower in pitch, its just the lower that gives off that vibe of "low" and dark

lucas boldarini || you could play this on mandolin or ukulele, and it would still sound heavy

Heavy doesn't mean low. Heavy is the attitude of the notes. I've played some heavy stuff on my uke, which proves my point

I first saw the "How to Scream" video. And the whole time I'm thinking about how the awesome guitar lines combined with the vocal timing was really in sync. I instantly became hooked and had to find the song.

Hey Justin, just wanted to say that this is my all time favorite song by you and I was wondering how I should go about practicing the whole low e string trill things while still hitting the single notes of the riff. Any help is appreciated!

Been absolutely obsessed with this song since I started listening to you, and I've tried tabbing this out myself on guitar pro but that intro timing is giving me issues. Any chance you could let me know the BPM? I just can't seem to line it all up cause I'm a noob lmao.

Good God, man! You used Miracle-Gro on your fingers. My pinky's only 2 1/8" & I'm 5'11" too. Oh yeah, that. I refer to him as gentle Ben.
