Somehow I missed this one but when you said the date I knew why….I was right in the middle of my move from Arizona to Texas! Your work is exquisite and your walls are filling up with beautiful samplers to treasure. Thanks for sharing your time to make this lady happy! Don’t stay away so long. ❤

I am so glad you’re back. I was looking for notifications and then had to search my subscriptions to find you and realized that I had missed 2 videos. I had the same experience with quilting last year. I was featured quilter at our show in 2022 and spent so much time trying to finish 3 huge quilts for my booth and one of them I had been working on for about 5 years (I needle turn applique and then embellish and bead and do my own machine quilting). I was so burned out after the show I just sort of sat there. I kept a journal though to keep motivated and started a huge Sue Spargo BOM that is intense. It’s so intense that I started working on a super old applique pattern (like year 2001ish) for a break…lol. I absolutely love all your finishes and your charts and if I were still cross stitching I would for sure be doing all the same charts you are. I have such a love for Blackbird designs and Plum street. I started cross stitch in the day doing Shepherd’s Bush patterns. But I totally get burn out. I did the same thing. Just worked on smalls that I could get done and then I was back in it again. Also we had the same winter and delay of Spring here in WA state. So I was with you there as well. Once Spring and summer showed up, I decided to enjoy every minute. The squirrels have been busy here which is scary! (It is September here now).
