Welcome. Retirement brought me back to cross stitch 1 year before Covid. I had accumulated plenty of product to keep me busy. Enjoyed seeing your projects.
Hi Sharon, I really enjoyed your first video. It was a pleasure to meet you, and you did a wonderful job showing all your projects. It was very refreshing to see so many different, eclectic pieces, and your personality is charming! Thank you! I look forward to more to come☺️. Meline
Your "love never fails" wip is great. You can always outline the skin with a darker color. You would probably also like "love is the key" by Teresa kogut. Great flosstube! ❤❤❤❤❤
I really enjoyed your flosstube. You are a natural. You are an amazing stitcher too. Looking forward to future videos. I appreciate all the work you did in listing your projects with fabric info., etc. Great to refer to. Happy Stitching. Now on to Episode 2
I loved your variety of patterns, and your ease of sharing with us in front of the camera. I retired in 2019 but have been stitching since 8th grade over 45 years ago. I traveled for my career so I had the ability to take all of my stitching along with me when I was away from home. Lovely stitching!!
Great job! I thoroughly enjoyed your first Flosstube and will be back for more. I appreciate your calm manner and clear speech. Fun and eclectic collection of projects.
Enjoyed your first video. You are the first person I've seen with Sewing ABCs in their WIPS. Of course I had to get mine back out now, so you enabled me. Looking forward to more videos.❤
Having watched a few of your current (May 2024) floss tubes, I'm now back-tracking and catching up. I loved that one of your WIPs was "Nevermore". I did that one for my nephew and his bride (she has a 'Goth' esthetic) for their wedding gift. I couldn't get 'Slug Bug' from my LNS, so I used the DMC substitute -- DMC 4000. Worked a treat -- and that "snowflake" motif looked wonderful with it. 😊
Hi again Margaret! I went out and took a look at DMC 4000. What a great substitute for Slugbug. I’m going to have to educate myself a bit more on the other thread options available from DMC. I may be missing out! 😊. Have a great stitchy week!
Crochet can be done w/ threads……not always w/ yarn. I love foiled and table cloths and covers done in crochet. Glad to see you in a new floss tube! Good luck!
Anne, nice to meet you! You have made my day! I never thought of that but should have since my great-grandmother used to that and used a crochet thread that could be used to stitch doilies, tablecloths, etc. I will definitely trying that. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
I really like your WIPS and can't wait until I see your finishes. Great Floss Tube! You are a natural in front of the camera and I felt like I was sitting across the table from you.
Great first video! Always love a good flosstube to watch while stitching. I also keep a notebook handy while watching, it’s a double edged sword of enabling😂. Looking forward to seeing more.
Linda, thanks so much for the kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed my first video. And in addition to my notebook by my chair, I also keep a fairly long wish list on 123Stitch.com 😀
Yeah that was fun and aren’t you happy to have the first one done! Great job presenting your wips and they are lovely❤ I will tell you to follow the instructions on the petites, you’ll be so happy with your stitched results when you do! ❤blessings
Hi Sharon! I'm watching your first floss tube and I wanted to drop you a message and welcome you to Brevard County. I've lived here for 21 yearsm mostly on Merritt Island. I like to cross stitch, embroidery, sewing, quilting and art. I hope you like it here!
Karin, nice to meet you! I love it here! I’m looking forward to experiencing ‘Winter’ here!! In addition to cross stitch, I also sew and crochet. I’m just getting ready to try my hand at quilting which I have a feeling that I’m going to love and I am also just starting to learn to knit.
Welcome to Floss Tube. I live in Fl. too but in the NW part near the Bama line. I tend to only stitch rather small items and only one 14 count Aida. My eyes won't allow anything else. I'm blessed to be able to stitch on 14 count. Loved seeing your whips. Wow you do have some really large ones. I admire you doing all t hat work but they will be so beautiful when you finish them. I'm looking forward to your next floss tube.
Hi Joyce, I’m glad you liked the video. I still enjoy working on 14 ct Aida and if I didn’t use a magnifying light I would not be stitching on 36 ct. Thanks for the warm welcome!
Welcome, Sharon, to the FlossTube community. Beautiful projects and stitching! We are at almost the same place on Mary 395. I love stitching on her. Looking forward to more.
Hi there Sarah, I’m a big fan of yours! And it’s going to be interesting who finishes on Mary 395 first! (I don’t have a dedicated red sampler day like you so you definitely may beat me 😀!
Hiya. Loved your first video. You have a lovely array of different WIPs which was exciting to watch. Can’t wait to see your finish parade in your next video xxx
Hi Sharon! I just love all of your wips! We have a lot of the same taste! I have Rest and Be Thankful, Nevermore, This is the Day, Strawberry Fields Forever...so many that you have! I want All Things Exceedingly but I don't have it yet. But...I did get the third part Be A Friend Sampler. I got it because it's alot smaller than the first two pieces. I haven't started them but I will. We are redoing my stitchy room so everything is pretty much stored away until that's finished. I'm just working on a couple of pieces for now. I feel like I am a pretty eclectic stitcher too. I really like so many different types of pieces. I have thing for weird funky pieces too lol. I used to worry about picking pieces to stitch that match my decor. Not anymore. I just stitch what calls to me. Thanks for sharing all of your gorgeous wips...I will be back! :)
Jodi, I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I wanted to share that the All Things Exceeding is stitching up fast so I would say go ahead and buy it and stitch it!! 😀
Sharon, great first flosstube, I really enjoyed the variety of projects you showed. I do think you are a very fast stitcher! Looking forward to many more.
Just letting you know; I was so excited about your current WIPs that I actually ordered 4 of the items to add to my stash of projects. This is truly exciting; can’t wait for you #2 video. Keep on stitching❤
Hi and congratulations on your first video! I think you did great. I like your projects and how you described and showed your progress on each. You also took time to linger while showing them so we could get a good look. Well done. Congratulations on your retirement and I hope you will be very happy in your new home. Look forward to seeing your next video. Happy Stitching!
Sharon - you and I seem to have quite a bit in common! My son is in the Navy and the majority of his career was in VA stationed at Yorktown Naval Weapon Station, Norfolk, and Oceana. I visit often and of course I have to visit Dyeing to Stitch most of the times that I come as well as having a friend in VA Beach. I also lived with my son and his family for two years to have more time with his two sons. Sadly, I'm was not a good steward of my money so I'm not retired yet and not sure when I will be, but I work part-time which gives me more time for stitching than I used to have. I've been stitching for over 40 years and while it wasn't as much when my kids were growing up, I never stopped. You mentioned the colors in the one piece by Plum Street Samplers and not much contrast. I've often found that with Paulette's designs and I think it's because she uses overdyed threads so much - which I love. But you have to be careful with dye lots and mine are always so much closer that it's hard to tell one from the other. I think as I work more her designs I'm going to be more concious of that and substitute one of the colors so that it's similar, but provides the contrast that makes the piece so awesome.
Debby, nice to meet you and it was so interesting reading about your history in and around Va Beach. What a small world it is! It’s nice that you now are having a bit more stitching time…that’s always a good thing!
Love your floss tube... oh my we lived in Virginia beach for quite a while but have now moved to Florida for our retirement. Been her about 3 months...your stitching is beautiful.
Wonderful beginning flosstube. Melissa and Bobby Williams were also stationed in Kings Bay for many years. He's a chaplain for the US navy. My very first job was working for Melissa's sweet parents. Your work is incredible for such a short history of stitching. I'm looking forward to your next video.
Hi Teresa, I know Kings Bay very well after visiting my son there for over 10 years. Thank you for your kind words and I’m really glad that you enjoyed the video!
Hi and welcome to Florida. My husband and I moved to Boca 2 years ago and enjoying the retirement life too! Thoroughly enjoyed your floss tube - I too have been stitching for over 43 years and have seen the evolution of cross stitch too in these years. May I make a few suggestion to wet your appetite for more through Floss Tube or you may know these names already: Brenda and Laura the Serial Stitcher; Nicoles needlework (for years of beautiful cross stitch); Contented Needleworker; Kindred Stitcher, Vonna Pfeiffer; and Evertote (from Canada) and of course Katie Strachan. I love your red sampler, and I too love Dimension kits, Blackbird Designs, Miribilia and Brenda Gervais, Stacy Nash, Nicole Parkman among many others. I heard that Inspired Needle (for needle supplies) is moving to the Palm Coast (not sure on how close that is to Brevard county). Here are some of my favorite shops to purchase charts and etc: 123 stitch for needlework items (great prices); Hobbyhouse, NIAH, Black Cat Stitchery and Yeo ole Cross Stitchery; Shepherds Needle and Dying to Stitch in Virginia for R&R fabrics, and clubs, Needleworkers Delight (in New Jersey for Zweigart fabrics and Etsy shops too. Also, if you don't mind me saying the stitched piece that you were working on with the mermaid (medium and light green) tail was not to your liking - but perhaps an stitch outline of a darker green to make the other greens pop out as a thought (look at Miribilia mermaid pieces for creativity). Have a nice day and look forward to your next floss tube. Monica
Monica, thanks so much for the warm welcome to Florida! And I loved all the suggestions - some are familiar but many are brand new. It’s going to be fun exploring the new ones!!
Thanks for the kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I just posted video #2 today showing all of my finishes so far.. You may enjoy that one too!
I'm just seeing this video in April 2024 so you have probably already solved the mermaid color. I'm thinking that when the other greens are stitched it may bring out the contrast in the tail colors better. Love your video! I'll be watching the rest in order.
Thank you so much for the advice and I’m so glad you found my channel! I think it will be fun to watch the other videos in order since the color in the mermaid is not the only issue I’ve encountered since I re-started cross stitching! It’s all fun and just part of the journey. I hope you enjoy them.
Hello there Elizabeth! Thanks for the kind words. I used to work with a woman named Mina from New Zealand quite a number of years ago. I really enjoyed working with her. 😀
Jane, thank you so much for your kind feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed seeing my WIPs. I’m really looking forward to showing my finishes in my next video.
Hi and welcome to brevard! I loved your flosstube. You are a natural in front of the camera. Yes there is a cross stitch shop in orlando. I will email you more info. Can't wait for your next flosstube!
Hi there Teresa! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. And a huge thanks for sending me the email. I’ll be taking a look at that in just a bit and will email you back!
My ears perked up when you said your son was stationed in Washington state! My now-ex husband and I moved from Orlando to Tacoma in 2011 so I could work a travel nursing assignment at Joint Base Lewis McChord. After that I worked for a contractor for the Navy at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island base hospital! Small world!! Beautiful stitching work!
Thanks for your kind words. I’m glad you liked the video. My son is stationed at Bangor Sub Base. It’s a beautiful area but he and his family misses the East Coast.
Lovely projects. I’ve only done a couple of dimensions after throwing one away. The other two I only used 2 threads which was much more enjoyable to stitch. They turned out fine. My third son is a Lt commander in the Naval Reserve. He was a submariner when doing active duty. It was exciting when he received his dolphin pin.
Hi Linda, nice to hear that using 2 threads has a good result on a Dimensions kit. That may be what ends up happening! Wow, another submariner…don’t meet many of those since there’s so few of them considering the much larger number that serve on surface vessels. The dolphin pin is definitely cool. My son bought me one and I keep it in my jewelry box.
Wlcome to Florida and flosstube. I also use DMC as it is so availabe every where as i dont have a needle shop near me. Great flosstube and love all your projects.
Dorothy, thanks for the warm welcome to both Florida and FlossTube. DMC does seem to work for me best but I also like that it helps stretch my stitching dollars! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Congratulations on your first video. Regarding stitching with the 4 threads being difficult, have you tried using a larger needle a 24 or even a 22. The larger needle will make the hole bigger and the floss will go through easier. The fabric will ease back to size. I will be looking forward for what’s to come.
Linda, what a great suggestion! I am stitching with a very small needle…the same size that I use to stitch on 36 ct linen. I think you have possibly solved my dilemma and saved that project that I still love!
Loved your first floss tube. I have stitched the Cricket Collection house… it is one of my very favorite finishes. I look forward to seeing your progress on the beautiful Barny Sampler. I considered stitching along, but it is so huge and probably a bit beyond my capabilities! Whenever I do beads, I just put them in a bowl and scrape them up with my needle one at a time while sitting in my recliner as always. Happy stitching
Thanks for the kind comment. I would say reconsider the Louisa Barney Sampler if you love it. It’s not a hard stitch and it doesn’t matter how fast you get it done as long as you’re enjoying it. Since you did the Cricket house, you’ll definitely be able to stitch it! And thanks for the suggestion on the beading. I like to stitch in my recliner so that may be perfect!
I'm loving your WIPS! I live the Love Never Fails pattern. I haven't done one that large yet. Welcome to flosstube! You're a natural! I have a channel also, and it took me a while before I showed myself. I was pretty nervous.
Thank you for your kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed my WIPs. And I will definitely have to take a look at your channel! P.S. I think we’re all a bit nervous!
Sharon, how kind of you to describe the problem with the Designworks Stitching ABCs pattern. That is such a help to others! Your stitching is lovely and I enjoyed your flosstube video! Isn't this hobby SO much fun??
Hi Teresa, I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and I was happy to share my experience with that DesignWorks kit in case it can help someone. I love, love, love this hobby!!!!! And the people that enjoy it 😀
You did a great job on your first FT. Suggestion on your mermaid. Put a little of the wreath dark green in and some of her flesh before your change her tail. It may give you the look you want.
Donna, thanks so much for the suggestion regarding the mermaid. I’m definitely going to try that! And thanks for your kind comments! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
I really enjoyed your video.... we like the same things...I think DMC 3777 is my fav red too! Anchor 20 is also great...I did BB Strawberry Fields! You might really like perforated paper...I enjoy Mill Hill kits....and enjoy pulling out older patterns & stitching a small motif on perforated paper.....I back them with matching print fabric using Aleanes glue with short piece of ribbon between for a hanger.... thanks for sharing your rekindled passion with us...your needles are on fire!
Thanks for the kind comment! We definitely have similar taste - that’s always fun. I did enjoy the stitching on the perforated paper for the Holiday Flamingo Mill Hill kit so your suggestion about stitching small motifs on it is a good one. I’m glad you likec the video. 😀
I like your variety. We like much of the same things. You have really good progress on your older WIPS which is great. Mary 395 I have been enchanted by for some time. Your presentation was very good and organised well you did not seem all that nervous. I subscribed and we will visit again!
Thanks for leaving such a kind comment. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and subscribed. I will try to keep it interesting and fun! On Mary 395, I would say go for it! 😀
I enjoyed your review of your WIPs. The variety was great! Marybeth your mermaid will look good when you add some of the wreath … more contrast. Hope you can avoid changing out stitching. 🐸
Danette, thanks so much for your kind words and the suggestion to add some of the wreath in for contrast. I may try that tonight!! I’m glad you liked the video. Happy stitching!
Hi Sharon! Welcome to flosstube! I'm so glad that I found your channel. Your stitching is beautiful and I love the variety of projects. I have to say that your Mary 395 is jaw dropping! I have that on my "need to stitch, but gosh it's intimidating" list 🤣 After seeing your progress, I might just have to start her! I'm looking forward to your next video. Happy Stitching:) Inez
Inez, I would definitely say start her! I pick it up when I want to stitch and I don’t want to think about it too much since it’s only one color. And thanks for the warm welcome. I am also glad you found my channel!😀
Great 1st flosstube video! I agree that pulling 4 threads through 18 count is not easy. I’m stitching a different Dimensions Petite kit and I reduced 4 threads to 3 and 3 to 2 and it’s coming out just fine. Good luck. Happy stitching.
Welcome! Try letting go of your needle with thread on it as you stitch to let it unwind. That should help you! When doing 4 threads, just do 2 threads but go through the hole again for your 4 that's required. You should find thar it's easier for you.
Great video. I am all the way across the US in California. Hats off for starting a channel, not sure I am that brave. Looking forward to watching episode @2.
Welcome to Central Florida! I understand being obsessed with a charts and having to have everything right away. I have been stitching for a very long time. I'm still "mostly" a monogamous stitcher. If I'm working on something big, I will stop and do a smaller project. I also ran into a fabric issue while stitching "Quaker Seasons of Friendship by Crown & Thistle". I start, normally, in the right hand upper corner, I stitched going across the top, I had one more section to stitch and I realize that it didn't look like I would have enough fabric! I counted it out and I had may an inch border (with 3" on the top and right side). I couldn't figure out what I did wrong. I finally counted the Stitches to see what the count was, since everything else was right. It turns out that the fabric was miss labeled, suppose to be 40 count, was 36. I stitched a border of fabric around the left side and bottom, I put it away for about a year. I just pulled it out and I'm determined to finish. I loved your video and am looking forward to your next one.
Cheryl, thanks for the warm welcome to Florida. I used to be a monogamous stitcher before I discovered FlossTube. And since discovering FlossTube I learned to do what you are doing - adding in some smaller projects with the large ones. Thanks for sharing your fabric issue. That was an eye opener for me and I could totally imagine that happening (since mistakes happen to all of us)! I think I’m going to double-check that going forward just to be safe.
Enjoyed your first floss tube so much, im stitching the same country cottage samplings snowman. Your projects are lovely. Looking forward to your next video and have subscribed so i dont miss it.
Hi Brenda, thanks for the kind feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. It was so interesting to hear that your son is working at Kings Bay. Is he military or civilian? Are you living close to him now having moved from Jax? Glad to hear your opinion that I’m in a great area from someone who’s a native!
Nice to have a new friend to watch. I find that I have more twisting and knotting with DMC versus overdyed. I tend to switch out DMC and use overdyed or handled threads. You wips are really impressive, especially the red sampler. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Great video! Looking forward to your finished projects. I came back to cross stitching after a thirty year break! Wow was I ever so happy with all the new charts and designers! Happy Stitching!
Loved your Flosstube. You have a nice varied assortment of projects! That red HATS sampler is amazing!! I had no idea that it was so huge. I really enjoy the Dimensions Gold kits (pretty much the only KITS I buy) and wanted to just warn you that often when they ask you to use 4 plies on those kits, they are half cross stitches, not full x’s. I know that doesn’t help pulling the four threads through but at least it’s a “little” bit easier. I can’t think now where it shows you which stitches are half and which are full x’s, but that seems to be a common technique used on the Gold kits so you might want to double check! Your work is amazing!! Look forward to seeing your progress on all of these!
Thanks for your kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and will take a closer look at the DMC kit when I stitch on it again. I’m glad you enjoyed the video, more to come!
Loved your video! You have many of the same patterns that I have! I also don’t do many Halloween stitches but when I saw Nevermore by Lila’s studio, I really liked it. I “stewed “over the thought of buying it for about a year, then I just gave in and made the purchase.
Debra, thanks for your kind words and as you know I totally get stewing over a chart. You were a lot more patient than me. I think it only took me 2-3 weeks before I purchased it! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Great video. Welcome. I was very impressed with your first floss tube. Wow can’t wait to see what you have in store for us. Beautiful stitching. We have some similar projects. I am currently working on Cricket Collection. EASTER. see you soon I hope.
Diana, I took a peek at the pattern and it’s adorable! If you write me at everydaystitcher@gmail.com, I’ll share my mailing address. Thank you so much for your generosity!
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for the suggestion about thread conditioner or wax. I’ve never used either one but it totally makes sense that they might solve my fraying thread problem!
Very much enjoyed your first flosstube! I’m also a recently retired IT project/program manager and really enjoyed hearing about your cross stitch journey. I also only recently discovered flosstube on UA-cam. I had loved cross stitch decades ago as a young woman. It went into the background due to children and work (all those long project hours). I’m not sure I would have let it slip by if flosstube had existed back then. Looking for to watching more.
Karen, we definitely have similar journeys. Like you, I am actually glad I didn’t discover FlossTube sooner because I don’t think I would have been able to resist it! I’m really glad you liked the video!
Hi Deidre, thank goodness for online stores, right? I have searched just a little to see what was around… did find a few quilting shops. I’m interested in trying out quilting so visiting those will be fun. Thanks for the warm welcome!
Congratulations on your first Flosstube! It looks like you have experience doing Zoom meetings - you don't look like a first-timer in front of the camera. Good job. You do have eclectic taste - so refreshing and each beautiful in its own way. I also retired early and have loved every extra year of doing what I want when I want. You will too.
Thanks for your kind comments. In my view, the best thing so far about being retired is not having to wake up using an alarm clock most days. There are lots of other things too like being able to stitch more 😀 I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Hi Sharon :) I loved your video and your WIP parade. You're stitching is lovely - can't wait to see more on your projects and your finish parade. Wow! We're neighbors - I live here in Brevard County. If you are ever interested in having a stitch get together somewhere local let me know. Congratulations on a great first video.
Julie, thanks for your kind words and I would love to have a local stitch together with you at some point. I’m thinking maybe after Labor Day - mid/late September might be good??? What do you think?
Hello and welcome Sharon. Enjoyed your first video, lots of lovely projects. Love the Mary 395,its huge, it will be stunning when completed. Happy stitching
Welcome to flosstube world. I enjoyed your video and look forward to more 😊
Hi there Sandra, thanks for the warm welcome! I’m really glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for joining the Cross Stitch Flosstube (CSFT) community. I've added you to my list. Beautiful stitching!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Welcome. Retirement brought me back to cross stitch 1 year before Covid. I had accumulated plenty of product to keep me busy. Enjoyed seeing your projects.
Thanks Debra for the welcome. I’m so glad you enjoyed my projects!
Hi Sharon, I really enjoyed your first video. It was a pleasure to meet you, and you did a wonderful job showing all your projects. It was very refreshing to see so many different, eclectic pieces, and your personality is charming! Thank you! I look forward to more to come☺️.

Thanks so much for your very kind feedback. I’m really glad you liked the video!
So looking forward to your next floss tube! Loved lots of your projects.

You are a natural can’t wait for more!
I’m glad you out Tara! Happy stitching!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Great flosstube. Enjoyed waiting to see your next. Happy stitching!
Pat, thanks for the kind words. I’m really happy you enjoyed the video!
Your "love never fails" wip is great. You can always outline the skin with a darker color. You would probably also like "love is the key" by Teresa kogut. Great flosstube! ❤❤❤❤❤
Melody, I’m so glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for the recommendation for the Teresa Kogut pattern. I had completely forgotten about that one!
I really enjoyed your flosstube. You are a natural. You are an amazing stitcher too. Looking forward to future videos. I appreciate all the work you did in listing your projects with fabric info., etc. Great to refer to. Happy Stitching. Now on to Episode 2
I’m glad you enjoyed the first video and I hope you enjoy the 2nd video just as much! It really does show my stitching journey.
Lovely to 'meet' you today and see your stitching. Looking forward to seeing your next video x
Caroline, thanks for the kind comment! Nice to meet you too! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. 😀
I loved your variety of patterns, and your ease of sharing with us in front of the camera. I retired in 2019 but have been stitching since 8th grade over 45 years ago. I traveled for my career so I had the ability to take all of my stitching along with me when I was away from home. Lovely stitching!!
Lori, thanks for your kind comments. I used to do business travel too about once a month and never considered taking it me…I wish I had!!
Great episode, looking forward to next week.
Thanks for the kind words, Joy. I’m glad you liked it!
Welcome to FlossTube! Well done!
Thanks for the warm welcome, Angel. I’m glad you liked it!
Great job! I thoroughly enjoyed your first Flosstube and will be back for more. I appreciate your calm manner and clear speech. Fun and eclectic collection of projects.
Hi Kris, thanks for the kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I just uploaded episode #2 showing all of my finishes today…
Enjoyed your first video. You are the first person I've seen with Sewing ABCs in their WIPS. Of course I had to get mine back out now, so you enabled me. Looking forward to more videos.❤
Peg, thanks for the kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Happy stitching on Stitching ABCs! I do think it’s gorgeous.
Hi hun. Really enjoyed yr wip parade. Love all ye lovely wips and charts. Take care. Xx
Mel, thanks for the kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed it!!
So impressed with those beautiful samplers.
Glad you enjoyed them.
Great job on video #1. Looking forward to #2
Thanks for the kind words, Stephanie. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Really enjoyed this. I hope we see more of you.
Hi there, I’m planning on doing a FlossTube every week! ❤️
Crochet can be done w/ threads……not always w/ yarn. I love foiled and table cloths and covers done in crochet. Glad to see you in a new floss tube! Good luck!
Oops……suppose to say doilies not foiled. Help!!!!
Anne, nice to meet you! You have made my day! I never thought of that but should have since my great-grandmother used to that and used a crochet thread that could be used to stitch doilies, tablecloths, etc. I will definitely trying that. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Great video. Beautiful stitches. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed. See you next time
Jacqueline, thanks for your kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Great first episode. Loved your WIP parade - beautiful stitching. Will be back for your finish parade.
Yay, thank you!
I really like your WIPS and can't wait until I see your finishes. Great Floss Tube! You are a natural in front of the camera and I felt like I was sitting across the table from you.
Glad we got to visit 😀
Great first video! Always love a good flosstube to watch while stitching. I also keep a notebook handy while watching, it’s a double edged sword of enabling😂. Looking forward to seeing more.
Linda, thanks so much for the kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed my first video. And in addition to my notebook by my chair, I also keep a fairly long wish list on 123Stitch.com 😀
Sharon, your first floss tube is great, really enjoyed you
Pat, thanks for your kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful floss tube, you are a natural.
Thank you so much for the kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the first video.
Welcome. Great job on your first flosstube
Thanks for the warm welcome, Josie! I’m glad you liked it.
Loved the video!! Stitching is beautiful!! Looking forward to your next video
Vicki, thanks for your kindness! I’m glad you enjoyed it!!
Yeah that was fun and aren’t you happy to have the first one done! Great job presenting your wips and they are lovely❤ I will tell you to follow the instructions on the petites, you’ll be so happy with your stitched results when you do! ❤blessings
Robin, thanks so much for the kind words and advice on the DMC Petites. Yes, very glad that the first one is done 😀
@@everydaystitcher ❤️❤️
Hiya. Loved your first video. You have a lovely array of different WIPs which was exciting to watch. Can’t wait to see your finish parade in your next video xxx
Thanks so much for the kind feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I’m really looking to showing my finishes 😀
Great first video. You stitch a variety of kits. Enjoyed listening.
Thanks so much for the kind feedback. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Sharon, great first flosstube, I really enjoyed the variety of projects you showed. I do think you are a very fast stitcher! Looking forward to many more.
Hi Becky, thanks for the kind comment. I’m really glad you enjoyed the video. I will definitely continue to stitch and share it 😀
Welcome to flosstube! Enjoyed seeing your WIP parade. Great job on your first video!
Thanks for the warm welcome. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Enjoyed your first video. Beautiful stitching.
Thank you for the kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Loved your FlossTube..Keep going. It has been so fun watching and your work is so fun!
Kathy, thanks for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Linda, thanks so much for the kind comment. I’m really glad you enjoyed the video. I am looking forward to sharing my finishes on Monday! 😀
I’m glad that I caught you on UA-cam. I enjoyed watching your wips. Great first video.
Mary, thanks for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
i ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO. BEAUTIFUL STITCHING.
Susan, thanks for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for your kind comment. Good for you on your move to Florida. I love it here! You got here just a few weeks before me.
@@everydaystitcher you are welcome. We love it here too
Wonderful beginning flosstube.
Wonderful stitching and beautiful choices!
Thank you for your kind comment. I’m glad you’re enjoying the items I’m sharing on my channel. Happy stitching 😀
@@everydaystitcher - you’re welcome ❣️😊
Beautiful work and a great video.
Greetings from New Zealand. Congratulations on your first video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. What lovely projects you have. Happy Stitching
Hello there Elizabeth! Thanks for the kind words. I used to work with a woman named Mina from New Zealand quite a number of years ago. I really enjoyed working with her. 😀
Nice to meet you , watching from across the pond.
Hi there Marion! I hope you enjoyed the video.
Good job on your first flosstube. Enjoyed seeing your whips!
Jane, thank you so much for your kind feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed seeing my WIPs. I’m really looking forward to showing my finishes in my next video.
You are a natural - great video
Vickie, thank you for your kind comment. I’m glad that you enjoyed it!!
My son bought me one and I keep it in my jewelry box.
great first flosstube!!!!
Thanks for the kind comment, Christine! I’m glad you enjoyed it. 😀
You had me at WIP parade 😉
Woohoo…That always gets me too 😀
Loved your first floss tube.
And the people that enjoy it 😀
Enjoyed your flosstube
I’m glad you did!
More please, Sharon! Welcome to our community!🥰
Thanks for the warm welcome Karen. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Ha ha... More please! That's what I said!
Your projects are lovely.
Thank you so much for your kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed seeing everything. 😀
Lori, thanks so much for the kind comments and the advice on the 4 strand stitching. That may very well be what I end up doing!
Welcome!
Try letting go of your needle with thread on it as you stitch to let it unwind. That should help you! When doing 4 threads, just do 2 threads but go through the hole again for your 4 that's required. You should find thar it's easier for you.
Thanks so much for the suggestion. I never thought of doing that!
Great video. I am all the way across the US in California. Hats off for starting a channel, not sure I am that brave. Looking forward to watching episode @2.
Melissa, thanks for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I just posted video #2 today showing all of my finishes so far…take a look!
Great 1st video, you'd never guess it was your 1st!
All great projects.
Very enjoyable.
Marilyn
Thanks Marilyn for all the kind words. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video!
Enjoyed your first floss tube so much, im stitching the same country cottage samplings snowman. Your projects are lovely. Looking forward to your next video and have subscribed so i dont miss it.
Joanne, I’m so glad you enjoyed the first video! I posted the 2nd one a couple of days ago…FYI…enjoy!! And thanks for subscribing 😀
Oh my goodness! Love your video! I just moved from Jacksonville, and my son works at Kings Bay. I was born in Brevard County. You’re in a great area!!
Thank you for starting a floss tube. I love the projects you are working on and your personable manner. Good luck. I look forward to your next one.
Hi Laurie, thanks for your kind feedback and well wishes. I’m really glad you enjoyed the video!!
Nice to have a new friend to watch. I find that I have more twisting and knotting with DMC versus overdyed. I tend to switch out DMC and use overdyed or handled threads. You wips are really impressive, especially the red sampler. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Thanks for the kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the videos and my projects! More to come 😀
Great video! Looking forward to your finished projects. I came back to cross stitching after a thirty year break! Wow was I ever so happy with all the new charts and designers! Happy Stitching!
Thanks Delores for your kind comment. It sounds like we both have a similar cross stitch history 😀
Great job! looking forward to more videos. Welcome to Flosstube. I have a feeling you are going to be a great success ❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
Really enjoyed your video!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Happy stitching!
Great video. Welcome. I was very impressed with your first floss tube. Wow can’t wait to see what you have in store for us. Beautiful stitching. We have some similar projects. I am currently working on Cricket Collection. EASTER. see you soon I hope.
Diana, thanks for your kind comment. I’ll have to take a look at the Easter chart…sounds interesting!
@@everydaystitcher if you like it I have an extra copy I could send you.
Diana, I took a peek at the pattern and it’s adorable! If you write me at everydaystitcher@gmail.com, I’ll share my mailing address. Thank you so much for your generosity!
Very much enjoyed your first flosstube. I agree with your thoughts on the overdyed floss. I find that using thread conditioner or wax really helps.
Welcome to flosstube land. You did great! 😊 I look forward to watching your next episode.
Karen, thanks for warm welcome and kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Oh my gosh! You just became one of my favorites. I love all your beautiful projects. Looking forward to more with you
How nice! I’m so very glad you enjoyed it!!
Hello! Welcome to Brevard County! I hope your stash is big because we don’t have any cross stitch shops in this county.😢
Hi Deidre, thank goodness for online stores, right? I have searched just a little to see what was around… did find a few quilting shops. I’m interested in trying out quilting so visiting those will be fun. Thanks for the warm welcome!
So excited for your flosstubes to come
Me too! I’m glad you liked the the video Heather 😀
Discovered your channel this morning. Great first video. And welcome to the wonderful world o flosstube.
Kathie, thanks for your kindness. I’m so happy I found FlossTube in Feb, 2022 😀
Wonderful flosstube! You have such a calm, warm, way of displaying your talents. I'll be looking forward to more videos.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I love this community and am excited to be a part of it!
@@everydaystitcher that sounds great! :)
