Best part of my R is I drive it to work everyday (even snowy days!). Zero CELs. Pretty much the entire APR website and an Armytrix exhaust. Love it.

@@SleeperS3 When they are built yes. stock no but modified its terribly unreliable when u get past 600 whp. Never had more problems in a short amount of time then I did with that thing smh. Probably till this day the funest car ive ever owned tho its still dope and the S3 can be made just as fast. Buddy got one making 720 whp. Not sure how long that will last lol but its fast.
I remember when dudes were gapping Huracans and GTRs when the Golf R first came out and people started tunning them. I remember a video of a built one in Europe somewhere gapping a Veyron off the line. They're slept one hard

Yea but TBH he wasnt that much faster than that little Golf R but that R was cooking! Traction becomes the issue. My Turbo mustang makes 1540 whp and its hard to get all that to hook up.
My Trackhawk makes 1800 hp and it hooks like velcro lol but the Mustang is still faster ha it only weighs 3400 lbs. The Hawk needs like 2000 hp to come closer lol

@@Unicornpirate of course, but EA888 MK8's are the Evo 4 platform which is much more advanced in the power department. There's already mk8R's pushing 700+hp on stock engine.

Plaid seems sus. Golf's 60-130 was about 5 seconds and the Plaid does it sub 5, so there's no reason he should have gotten left like that.

Plaid rarely does sub 5s, especially when its not new. Non fully charged Plaid with like 40k+ miles and 2 or 3 people in it does mid 5s.

How many pulls can that Golf do before it needs to replace various components inside and outside the engine? I mean making a 4 cylinder pull that friking fast has a very very high cost in durability and usability and reliability doesnt it?

Took BMW over 10 years to finally surpass it. And IDK what it is about this specific channel that shows the slowest R35's I've seen. If you go watch 1320, TRC, Auto glory, Cars Across Texas and others, no upgraded turbo/built trans e85 tune GTR is that slow and gap plenty of cars. Just saying.

The G80 and G82 need to be retuned. They’re meant to be faster than the F90 😂

That little Golf R there was making about 750-780 whp and weighs about 2900-3100 lbs. The GT500 is making more obviously but weighs like 700-800 lbs more!
I gapped EVERYTHING in that never lost to anyone it was never even close TBH but of course there are faster cars but I never ran up against one now I gap 72mm Supras in my swapped R. Bitch is fast! And light! Its got a custom NLX Turbo from Bullseye. Ill be at FL2K this year hope to see u there bro!

There’s some C7z’s that run pretty good in FL but between yours,AG,&Franks channel I have only seen a few 6th gens that represent but they’re n/a h/c/i LT1’s. Not boosted lt1’s or even zl1’s. Those all seem to perform underwhelming for how they should be running. At least from the FL vids I’ve watched the last 5yrs
