- This particular evening, each of the four transmission areas handed over to News 24 at different times. Note the older yellow sting still being used by Wales, and the different start point of the Capoeira ident used in the nations

I miss the old idents
BBC One Scotland, Wales and NI may handover to BBC News later than the BBC One network because of other programmes being broadcast in their areas.
NOW ON BBC Two BBC NEWS 24
What about BBC Two handing over to Ceefax and Learning Zone by 4 nations?
I somehow have a feeling that all of the News idents that were shown here were used when returning from breaks.
Why does the capoeira look different? In England it is cartwheeling twice, and then yeah.
Btw is it recorded on the roof of a building?
SB988 2018 No, recorded using Sky Digital, VHS quality is so worst
David Limonka Did you mean ident with dancing mans?
There were two different versions of the Capoeira ident, hence why the Network's TX and Scotland's TX were different.
BBC One in England used a shorter TX of the Capoeria ident, but BBC One in Wales, NI & Scotland used the Uncut, longer TX.
Also note that BBC ONE Wales uses the Skateboarders ident, whilst BBC ONE Network (English Regions), BBC ONE Northern Ireland and BBC ONE Scotland all use the Capoeira ident
also note that wales is using the skateboard ident, that was filmed in Northern Ireland, while northern ireland isnt even using it.
