When I was your age my 1st marriage had ended, and after a few years of dating I decided to take a couple years off to " do me." It turned into 8 years of the best years of my life. No relationships, just friendships. It boosted my confidence and self worth to a level I never knew I had. I became my own best friend. Life is certainly a journey! I am in the States, so the idea of a Tesco meal deal sounded intriguing. They have so many vegetarian options! So, I looked up my options and this is what I would choose:
- Ploughman's sandwich
- Twix bar (the paprika chips sounded interesting too)
- Innocent strawberries and banana smoothie, or smart water if that isn't available
Am an Aussie so not only don't I know what sticker lunches are, I've never heard of Tesco either. I think I need to go back and watch more Lauren vids!😊

What's hilarious is... when I'm watching your YT videos I have to literally set a 15min alarm because your voice soothes me so much I sometimes fall asleep! Especially this time with the rain - thunderstorms/rain storms are my favorite on my sound machine. So incredibly relaxing. As I am watching this vlog - you are absolutely #womangoals!!! I love that you have been going out and enjoying life - I know there are time you wanna just stay in your studio and chill with your plants - I love when I don't have to "people" when my body/mind/soul is exhausted. But seeing how you are venturing out and feeding your body and soul with beautiful moments and adventures is SO inspiring!!! Love love love it! I am working on finding a way to push past the crazy uncomfortable anxiety physical feelings and find things to do by myself. The concert, the museums.... all the beautiful things life has to offer that I struggle experiencing because I hold myself hostage. Thank you for showing that even through that we can come out on the other side. Love seeing you and your mom together. She's so funny and kind and I can see where your beautiful spirit comes from. Its so wild not knowing what I even like to do at this point. Sorry for the ramble but just wanted to say you inspire me to try new things and make me feel less alone in this phase of life. ❤

@@CastledarkDweller27 aw thank you! It's really hard right now, in fact I found out he already has a new relationship less than 2 months after the divorce. But, just goes to show he really is a narcissist that's incapable of actual love, and it wasn't just me. Which makes me feel better but also hurts because mutual "friends" were congratulating him. They're not my friends anymore.

Liked you and your moms thoughts for the day. I'm a USA gal. I love therapy type shows. Most times they make me feel like I'm doing ok. Your haircolor is still very flattering on you Lauren. Seeing you with your mom makes me miss mine terribly. She passed several years ago. We would sit and talk for hours at times. She had such knowledge to give me. So continue to cherish her as you do. It's lovely to see.❤ Gift shops are fun. I pick up more crap that I don't need, like candles, which I never light. Cause I'm saving them 😂!! Right now I'm going to light one...no two, that I've had and unlit for YEARS. You're so right, and their light makes me look good in the dark. Always a plus. Take care Lauren, I've rambled on enough. One hour vlog from Lauren! Yay! I am watching with my bowl of spaghetti alfredo and glass of wine. That part of you driving in the rain was so cosy btw - I could do with a 20 minute video of that to save and watch on my insomnia nights. My "meal deal" preference is chicken and bacon sandwich, prawn cocktail flavour Quavers, and Tropicana orange juice. Yum! Lauren, you walking around in London on your own at around 11pm or midnight always gives me anxiety. Please be safe, hun. ❤

Hi Lauren…new subby here……another UK girl/ well old fogie…..originally from Yorkshire now in the South East Berkshire area….you really got me with the “it feels illegal to wear these” the earrings from mum….i have a pair of diamond and ruby gold earrings from my late mum with a ring to match……and i just daren’t wear the…so what you said really resonated with me xx

When you take yourself out on dates you slowly but surely give me the motivation to possibly attempt the same soon. I have never pushed myself to go on solo adventures except for on hikes in nature. Out in places with people, never haha. But you inspire me, I may book a date with myself and push that comfort zone

I live in South London and went to the Rosetti exhibition but didn’t drive. I get anxiety driving into London but am ok on the train. The reverse of what you experience! The little back roads behind the Tate are beautiful and the little gated gardens. are so pretty. I love anything to do with the pre-raphaelites! Love your videos ❤
I’d be the same. No way I could drive in London. It’s funny how we all struggle with different things. I think Lauren is amazing for driving in London 😂
im a wreck just watching Lauren drive in the city! (not JUST Lauren) (ANYBODY!) (I'm especially spooked by big trucks next to me or even worse~ when trucks are on BOTH sides of me! YIKES!) Isn't it weird that...Lauren comfortably drives on highways or freeways, skinny little 2ways, thru masses of traffic, & up one way streets, NOWHERE seems to freak her out but then she says CATCH THE TRAIN?? OH IM WAY TOO FULL OF ANXIETY TO DO THAT!! Just blows my mind!

Thank you for another great vlog, my go to Tesco meal deal is any sandwich with cheese in it, Doritos chilli flavour and I usually get a costa coffee if they have a machine in there as that is part of the deal or if not a tango. My anxiety has been really high this week so I definitely need self care and your vlogs are part of that thank you Lauren have a great week x❤

I love a good old Fake or Fortune where they x-ray the paintings and see what it looked like underneath.
I went to a lovely Van Gogh exhibition with my kids last year. It had a room with all the painting on every wall like giant TVs. Never experienced anything like it but it was fantastic. It even had interactive bits like a room of lights with swirls from starry night, a field of sunflowers and they had made one of the cafe scenes from the painting and had a cafe so it was like you were sitting in a painting. The lights in the light show you want to see made me think of it.
