- When visiting Jamaica there are a lot of things you can do as a tourist, but who wants to do all of that? In this video, we'll explore some hidden gems of Jamaica that you've never seen before in a UA-cam video. The trip starts in Kingston, Jamaica the capital and epicenter of the country. We hired a driver to take us to Port Antonio, Jamaica and this is one of the most beautiful places in the country that most tourists never visit. We are going to eat our way through Jamaica, hang with the locals, raft down the most famous river and so much more. This is part ONE of the Jamaica series.

Port Antonio was the prime tourist destination back in the day then the North Coast took over. There are plans to revamp Portland’s tourism. Portland to me is a perfect place to experience a different side of Jamaica. It is unspoiled, green and lush. I absolutely love Portland. I’m from the interior (Mandeville), so I always travel and explore my own island. I’m now living in Canada and Negril and Portland are my favourite places to vacation when I go back home. Glad you enjoyed yourself. I can taste the food through the screen! We love meat but we have delicious food for the Vegans/vegetarians too! 😀 Hopefully the scourge of corona will let me go home soon!😃👍🏿
Flights to Kingston or much higher and low cost airlines seems to be the only options.

Nothing better than the people, food, and scenery of Jamaica! You really captured this in the video. Looking forward to our 5th trip in Late September. Unfortunately, their are travel restricted zones at the moment, but would love to try river rafting at some point!

What a lovely place! And the vegan food options sure beat the ones on the train, by the looks of it. But what is that 'aki' stuff that looks like omelette? Also: I get sunburned really easily myself so I always worry about other people's skin too, and it was really refreshing not to need to in this video - but when you went a bit red at midday I still did! Will you the man I too when I travel like to go off the beaten track. I visited Create and spent a lot of time going to the little villages to real get the feel for what it is like to live as native they were friendly invited us into their homes and feed us it was a wonderful experience their hospitality reminds me if being home in 🇯🇲 Jamaica I would advise anyone who travel to venture out of the resort and support the local people heaven knows they need it more than the multinationals

I’m confused as to how you are headed west from Kingston to Port Antonio. Port Antonio is north and east of Kingston. Also while deriving the water was on da left of screen. If heading north from Kingston to Port Antonio, da sea should be on da right side
