Very well explained. There's only 1 remark. If you can make a rolling shot, it's always better than doing it like this. Because, when you have big gaps in the wheel, your calipers will be blured as well. When you have a rolling shot, then, your brake caliper is sharp

just select the car, make it a new layer, select the old layer and add motion blur.
How did you get the spin blur I don't have it in my photoshop.
