Cramps are due to lack of hydration. An electrolyte drink the night before and in the morning before your ride along with tabs in one of your bottles should see a improvement 🚴😎
Thank you for the info, feel like all I’m doing is drinking, but I am putting in almost max effort I can for most of these rides so maybe need as you said to hydrate day before also
Not always true. GCN have some great videos on the causes of cramp which show that numerous factors can play into when you get cramp and how much. In my own experience, fatigue is the biggest cause of cramp. And of course, numerous factors before and during your ride can cause fatigue, of which dehydration could be one of them. But obvs you can be hydrated and still suffer from fatigue. Training load is also a factor. Training well beyond your normal training load will very rapidly lead to an onset of fatigue
@@chasemason5129 happy to assume I’m just training to hard, sounds like the best excuse 😂😂
Great video brother!!
One question: what king of chest strap or combination of mounts do you use to strap de GoPro magnetically ?
I made a video on it previously, but it’s a cheap magnet and a cheap chest strap with gaffer tape
Keep it up mate. Nice videography & the intro is great 👍
Thank you!! Appreciate the love
❤
🧡🧡
Think you were following Lizi Brooke on the way out the park, know someone on her team so recognised that kit 😅 chill vid!
Thought I’d try hold the wheel for a little rest after the laps, can confirm that did not happen 😂😂😂
The latte made is the equivalent to a sloppy joe😂 …..love it - basic with a twist👍
Tasted delightful though 😂😂😂
Cool video!! From Japan cyclist.😎😎
Thank you 🙏🏼
Make them longer ✌️ ❤
Shorts or the vlogs 😂😂
I feel uneasy when I see you ride on the left side of the road :D
You mean the correct side right haha
Hey Andy! Greatings from Denmark! What bike computer mount are you using? ✌🏼
Hey Simon, I’m using just a generic one off of Amazon, one that fixes into the bottom two screws on the stem
Love those intros
Thank you 🙏 they get mixed reviews these days
Great video! btw where is this place?
Thank you! It was the crit race hosted by VIA in coal drops yard
Hi. Richmond Park looks like a nice place to do some quality laps. Too bad for the cars, but I guess there aren't so many as out on the streets. Lived in Ealing/Brentford/Isleworth area for years, but back then (1990s) it felt like miles away from the park. Used A-Z map to get around most of London. Now when I look at Google Maps ... it's only 20-25 minutes away by bicycle. Then again I've only had MTB in those days.
It’s a real good spot and easy enough to get to when you navigate through central. Got decent short sharp climb and some wonderful descents
@@andybroadhurst there aren't any street lights? Would be great for evening loops.
@@Cycling.Doughnut not in the park, there are a couple roundabouts
What is the bike computer you use and do you recommend?
Using the @garmin edge 530, I would, it’s not let me down and the battery life is actually class, I charge it full once’s every 3 rides?
How are you estimating your calories? I noticed if I look at my wahoo it overestimates by as much as 300%. Without going into the maths, you burn about 360kcal an hour at 100 watts.
I’m using the garmin to be fair, but heart monitor weight everything kind of set up accurately with weight etc can only hope it’s accurate
@@andybroadhurst It tricked me out in the past. I am on a weight loss journey and was struggling due to my bike GPS overinflating calories. I ended up doing a lot of research on this, and just as an FYI heart rate & weight have zero impact on calories burned. Its just your power output! But yeah, its about 360kcal per hour @ 100 watts. You can then adjust that figure depending on your avg watts :)
Nice video how are you finding that Lions Maine stuff any good?
I think it’s too early to tell just yet, but finding things to mix it in is a little pain, I rarely have a milky coffee, but I’m all for health and found this one on Etsy
@@andybroadhurst thanks is it good for anxiety do you know are you on strava ?
@@damiendenvir7953 apparently it’s good for quite a lot of things, I have noticed a slight decrease in anxiety and feel a bit more productive, it’s worth having a good read on it, but the stuff tastes horrendous 😂 but dirtea is like £40 whereas this Etsy find was about £10
@@andybroadhurst what brand is that you are using might take a look at it.What you think of your Scott Addict I have one also .
@@damiendenvir7953 it’s called Vitalum, I can’t preach to it’s purity but seems to do the job.
I like it, I would prefer a bigger size, I needed to ditch the 110cm stem though. Just want internal bars/stem like everyone else 😂😂
Put a teaspoon of salt into your water bottle and stay hydrated
Must be the next step, going to steal some Salt sachets from the cafe 😂
