I think many nutritionists cringe at the idea of sharing the particulars of their athlete's meticulously devised plans because when regular people follow the tailored plans of professional athletes, it tends to resemble disordered eating. So it would be like "I do this, but you really shouldn't. SERIOUSLY"

thanks Remco for being open and giving us a behind the scenes look of a pro cyclist. Most of us will never get to your level so we can only live through you.
Great job Remco! I’m an orthopaedic surgeon working in sports traumatology field and I often treat and operate pro-cyclists… I know how difficult could be to manage the recovery of an injury like yours, above all for the association of the operated collarbone with the fractured scapula… but indeed I’m quite sure, whatching your actual progress, that you’ll able to be in a very good shape in Florence for the Grand Depart of the Tour… best regards!
Merci Monsieur Remco
Remco it is obvious your not just a rider....You are very well spoken & obviously know exactly what your training is designed to accomplish & it is obvious you know all of this off the top of your head (no script) without a coach saying it. Awesome video & thank you for a peek into your recovery training! Good Luck going forward! 👍
Remco, thanks for this video. We rarely get to see a day in the life of one of the world's best cyclists much less a recovery from a horrible accident. Miss you in the Giro and hope to see you win the Tour de France.
Thanks for taking the time to share from your busy recovery, the Giro is not as exciting without you to push all the rest to the limit, keep working so hard, best wishes, cycling really needs you in the fight!
It's great to see you back at it. Thank you for sharing your recovery with all of us. At 63 I still ride the trainer 6 days a week until it's nice enough to ride outside. It's great to see you back, Remco. I've had 6 shoulder surgery's and know how the recovery is. The doctor doesn't like it when spring gets her and I ride my mtn bike, he wants me to stick to my road bike.
12:12 "Rund und gesund" in german I hear. Ha, Ha! Lieber Remco, so wonderful to see you on the bike again. You are a great inspiration! I broke my arm 10 years ago ("subkapitaler humerus"), so I know how you are feeling. All the best to you from Germany!
Good luck to you. Miracle young man. A wonder boy. I can't wait to see how you do in the Tour de France. You are the only one who can beat the champions Vingegaard and Pogachal! So please heal your injury well. I'll be waiting for you. from Japan 👍👍
Absolutely motivating Remco, thanks, you definitely show it's not the equipment room, zwift etc etcthat is required for getting fit and completing training but the will and drive to just do it. Thank you !!
I broke my scapula too in a ride accident. It hurts and I the beggining you have some fear when returning to ride. Obviusly to me is more dificult, 47 years, overweight, but the cycling spirit is there after 7 weeks. Remco is riding again in 3 or 4 weeks, its a miracle. Good job and good vibes guy!!!!!

Good to see you back on the road kampioen, we missed you so much in the peloton Thanks again for your videos that teach a lot about professional cyclist life, especially this time in the recovery matter. Best regards from Liège ALLEZ REMCO
Thanks for that Remco - great to get an insight into the extensive rehab recovery program the worlds best get. I am also recovering from a grade V AC joint relocation post surgery and have to admit my rehab physio program doesn’t quite stack up to yours (mainly consists of lifting my 3 year old daughter on and off the toilet bowl when she got business to do)
semplicemente emozionante.. grazie per questi video .. non vedo l'ora di vederti all'azione in super forma Sei un campione per questo motivo la tua guarigione sarà una passeggiata

big respect to this guy and anyone envolved in his recovery it's only a month since he broke is shoulderblade and it's not is first day of training. That's kinda insane :D
Remi naturally has the strongest leg power of all the cyclists. He played football religiously until he was 15/16 then switched to cycling. 7 years now a pro, he is still young enough to win everything important in cycling. A fully fit, mentally focused Remi on a bike, is Like Eden Hazard on a football pitch in his prime, absolute dynamite and unstoppable.
Thanks for taking me along on your recovery not only did I enjoy it but I learned a few things about what I can do for myself you're in the top three buddy getting Christmas cards from the other two
Ahh, the conditioning of a pro cyclist. As a recreational cyclist, it took me 6 weeks to get back onto the bike after a broken collarbone and Remco does it in under 3. Good luck with the continued recovery. Great video too!
Thankyou for sharing, we met in Livigno when I had a broken collarbone and we rode in the tunnel on TT bikes (Aussie) Recovery looks like it’s going well 🎉
Remco, I think most of us would be also interested in to watch “day of eating as a cyclist” Good luck buddy!
this would be awesome
