I think there may be a misunderstanding about what kind of obstacles obstacle avoidance is supposed to avoid. It’s not designed to get out of the way of moving objects, only stationary ones.
@@richardradon The Mavic 3 Classic obstacle avoidance sees slightly farther away than the Air 3, and you have an obstacle rich environment going on. Hard to say what the Mavic 3 was reacting to. When the Mavic 3 first came out, I did a test in the middle of an open field where I stood still and flew the Mavic 3 at me. The Mavic 3 avoided me. I then walked toward the Mavic 3 as it remained stationary, and it did not make any attempt at evasion. You can repeat the test.
In this case, obstacle avoidance can't react in time since the objects are moving fast and erratic. In the following video, I suggest flying your Air 3s into a lake or the ocean and title the video "DJI Air 3s commits suicide by drowning."
Ngl dji should make an update so that sensors can detect drones cuz the camera sensors only know as obstacles things like trees buildings etc while for the lidar at my opinion the air3 had his back arm blocked in the air3s front one so when the lidar detected the air3 he pulled it back causing the props to hit each other and as what i saw from the props at the end of the vid i can tell that they probably cut each other but and then they got stuck in each other, if dji could make drones avoid other drones (that are theirs or also other ones) it would be trutly useful and cool (it would also just needs a firmware update so it might be possible ✋🤚) Btw quick question, wich one of the drones u showed is your favourite?

@jeffpattison6321 ok but the Mavic Classic that made the recording seemed to move back just be for the crash!!

I love seeing each taking off! 🎉❤
Just rely on simple human instincts. That's why humans are behind the controls . Hope you don't get that close an more. Keep it coming .

I don't know why but I am laughing ....cheers ..subscribed
Hi. It is funny mate "not at that moment" the good news was there is no real damage.
So much for the Obstacle Avoidance & Lidar...

@@Blazer47 Spot on.
I don't understand the idea behind this operation.
@@iamtuben2 So?
????
Ha... Obviously the problem isn't the drone, but the incredibly stupid operator.
Thanks for your comment barry lol looking at your video's you must like that one bridge.... Mind you don't fall off it...

@DeepakBhat No harm done thanks for watching it 👍
