I have a BX 1880 and only use a box blade on my 3 point. I put these on and they are wonderful! It’s so easy now to adjust and like I said I only have that one attachment using it for ballast most of the time. Great product! I had to wait months but well worth it!!!
Had same problem. Bought new set 2 years ago. 1 stripped out already. Added chain to one side and turnbuckle to other side to take up slack. So far so good. When turnbuckle bresks will add other chain. Modified chain to take up slack.
I just put a pair of these on my GC1710 and Mike painted them Massey Red for me. Nice and sturdy stabilizers. Yep, they're still $180 but worth it. Makes changes fast, fast, fast. No turnbuckle work needed. Thumbs up.
very interesting video . im looking into a quick hitch and tiller setup for my 23s . i have a question ,where did you purchase that grill brush guard i cant find it on line?? any help is greatly appreciated.
The grill was what came on the tractor. It was the model before yours. Quick hitch is great so long all your attachments are compatible. If I was to do it all over, I would go with Pat's Quick Hitch and the telescoping stabilizing bars. Enjoy !
I have these and they're nice, but the issue I ran into is that the forks that attach to the bracket need to be angled up (so the bracket points down) - otherwise, my PTO U-joint hits it sometimes.
@@ODLife I did too, but if your attachment lifts up higher, the U joint at the back hits them. I might try flipping the bracket they attach to and see if that gives me extra clearance.
Those turn buckles that came with the tractor are a pain. My was bent from the previous owner not tighten them when brush hogging. These stabilizer looks like they are heavy duty.
john goodwin: yeah my dealer has them for small, medium large kubota tractors for $180.00 wich not bad but john deere and newholland dealers here the dee wants $899.99 and new holland is $1,100.00 wich is ouch price for a 3 point hitch stableilizers
+rtzapper sure but I am still learning how to use it myself. Daveknowshow has a great video on using the box blade. I use the buckets to carry chain and tools. Works out that they fit perfectly inside the box blade.
+Justin VanNatta contact Mark at: Stabilworks email address: markhdg@gmail.com He makes them in his spare time. He took a break for a while bit starting back up this spring.

Just received my Mr. Hodge stabilizers for a Kubota B7800, best investment ever. Quality product.
They are well worth it!

Sounds like an easy fix! Great thinking! Thanks for watching and commenting!

+Houndsman One that's cool that you got them painted. I think I'll be really happy with them.
its a good thing these little kubota bx's can adapt different stableilizers wich is nice
+Michael Mac Tavish You got that right!
Good video, informative. I’m going to see if I can get a set.
They are really handy, much better than turnbuckle.
Great video O&D, those stabilizers Mark makes are first rate !
+BoltOnHooks they sure are!
Thanks O&D, That's some really nice stabilizers easy to work with them.
I think they will do the trick! Thanks for watching and commenting!
They look great and much easier to deal with.
Thanks Dan, I look forward to using!

Thanks for sharing. I will have to contact Mark for a set of these.
They are great while on. When I took off the 3pt hardware and then put back on, it was a lot more cumbersome.
Those are nice. I heard that Kubota sells telescopic stabilizers for the BX now.
+94BULLITT they really are nice. The finish is very good.
Great job they look very nice should make it a lot better ! take care have a great weekend ! Kioti Curt :-)
+Kioti CS2410 Thanks Curt! Have a good weekend yourself!

Huh, I know Mark made sure to mark which one was left, right, this side up probably to prevent that.

I can't use a quick hitch cause all my implements are old I use the pats quick claws and it works, out well with the hodge stabilizers
Pats seems very versatile and a good way to go. So far I've been pretty lucky and have almost everything compatible.
Are they still holding up good ?
Great, no issues at all!
those are really nice. I honestly don't know how he sells them that cheap. between steel, paint and welding cost not much profit left over I'm sure.
+daveknowshow It must be a labor of love.

They are solid! Been so wet, really haven't been able to test.
Just got my hodge stabilizers wow what a difference
Makes u wonder why a high class tractor co. Like kubota
Would make junk like what was on there
Sweet! They are nice! I can't wait to have to hook up my post hole digger again. Should be real easy.
I've broke 2 of these turnbuckles knew about hodge but forgot about him
Are they still 180.00
+John Goodwin yep, I put his email in the description.

Don't turn the turnbuckles to tight, a little play is better
First mod I did when I got my bx
+Aaron Vergara wish I knew about them back then.
I noticed you carry a white bucket and so on your box blade. Can you do a video on your box blade and what you use it for. Thanks
+rtzapper sure but I am still learning how to use it myself. Daveknowshow has a great video on using the box blade. I use the buckets to carry chain and tools. Works out that they fit perfectly inside the box blade.
Where do get those
Dude, you sound just like Mike Rowe!
+Jerry Hurt ha, if only I was as polished. He's one of my favorite TV personalities.
you still have some slack on your 3 point ht must be hard on the bolt to brack eazy
My manual has specifications for different rear implements and the amount of side to side sway it should have.
i have the same turnbuckel since 205 and have a snow blower and never broke nothing
We like been looking at bars but always thoigjtbit would hard to center the quick hitch looks like it's a piece of cake
PaK
I think it worked great right there. Still plan to play some more with them.
O&D Life how do I contact Mark about stabilizers
PaK
+Peter Kober I've put his contact info in the description. Let me know if it's not there.
O&D Life we can't find it but I have trouble using technology

For God sake, cut the pin off!
That's what I was thinking... cut off wheel on the top and drive it out the bottom.
Turnbuckles were invented by monsters from a secondary dimension bent on destroying the Universe...... Ok, maybe a bit harsh, just the world.....
Lol, indeed from the devil himself!
