Wow a combo deck with restrictions. Imagine that.
You're locked into Rank Fours. That does give you a lot of options but as stated. Locks you out of a ton of the usual suspects.

Only 1 starters, not an extender
You can extra-foolish Aggregator to negate a card if your opponent has one, then use Deadnader to attach the Aggregator to itself. Then, if your opponent ever uses an effect of a card that special summons itself from the hand, you can chain Deadnader to pop one of their other cards by detaching Aggregator, then their monster will summon itself. Then, in a new chain, you can negate the card they summoned with Aggregator, giving you a bonus interruption.

Can't you just dump it with Ex Raizeol? It seems more accessible in-engine than hoping to draw into Extra-Foolish Burial

To use it as another interruption without inhibiting the rest of your endboard you'd need some Quick Effect to put it into defence position.

Because the searcher modulates stats, you can play Ragna zero in this which is crazy good pop and draw. Rafflesia can protect you from Nib if you draw a good enough hand. Dweller is good, Exciton Knight is still a card, they have 2 lvl winds to potentially make one of the best rank 4s lightning Chidori. Can make Gallant Granite to search Nib. You can play Infernal Flame Banshee to search, although I think it’s probably redundant in here. There still potential to play Zeus, thyphon, and Future to summon on the opponent’s turn. ANY ENGINE THAT MAKES A RANK 4 can bring you into this engine, so theoretically, you can sub out your 1 rank 4 generic deck into THAT plus 4-6 pops, the lock is only REST of the turn. There’s MANY great rank 4s, and there’s MANY GOOD lvl 4 extenders, and some actually good Plusing rank 4 engines, Trickstars, Warriors, Cyberse, Beast warriors, zoo if good cards are ever un banned, 2 lvl4s make Chack make Drident. Dugares, and Diagusto emerald are good extenders/late game. Going second there’s a million good Rank4s. The One card starter is a bonfire target, and also a 7th searcher, which means effectively you can have 9 extra copies of each, and you won’t feel the loss of 1 card because they go like plus 5 alone not factoring any other engines. The deck can beat Nib, can spam, mixes well with other engines, if you can put good monsters in gv the 3k XYZ because that much crazier, it already serves as an Omni with the Rank 9 cyberse, granted a very weak one, but attacked to 2-5 pops with protection that seems much better. How could I forget Time theifs, and re-dooer. But really ending on a 2 for 1 pop, 3-4 pops, dweller, and Nib in hand, seems alright.

Oh yeah this is probably the first deck that can actually reliably make and use Banshee, although like you said maybe unnecessary. I do wonder if people will try running deadnator turbo engines in other decks that can just say incidentally end on a rank 4. You can just make the rank 4 search and search ice and sword send the searcher for ice summon the sword and make deadnator attach anything at minimum you access to the rank 4 search you sent to special ice and the other extender/starter mons are fine too so you can run a third if you're worried about drawing one. That's close to say a Melfy spright ratio for a triple pop deadnator, seems very feasible.

Lock Rank-4 Xyz, who need Zeus anyway. We have Zeus at home, Evilswarm Exciton Knight.
In theory, the trap could let you summon Zeus on your opponent's turn. Does still require your opponent to battle one of your xyz though

Fenrir being on the field turns off Ex Raizeol's search (though, Ice Raizeol can clear it).

This deck gives any deck that can end on 2 level-4's 5 targeted pops.
Use 2 level-4's to make "Duodrive" to search for the trap and "Sword Raizeol".
Summon sword with its own effect since Duo is on field, then search "Ice Raizeol".
Ice is the easiest free summon since you can send the spent Duo to summon it and you only need a Raizeol name.
Overlay both Raizeols into "Deadnader" and attach the Duo in grave to it with its effect.
This ends on 3-mat Deadnader for 3 targeted pops and the trap for 1 more targeted pop. If you already used Deadnader at least once in that turn, the trap adds another material from grave to Deadnader for a 5th targeted pop.
Also, since Deadnader's protection effect isn't an activated effect, if you can end on 4 level-4's in your deck, you can play protect the floodgate.
Have Deadnader with 3-mats for battle/destruction battle, trap for 1 targeted pop, and a Bagooska; although, this is just trolling around.
All this for only 3 main-deck spaces and 2 Extra-deck spaces. The main-decks cards aren't even bricks unless you open exactly 2 of them, since Duo needs to search 2 cards.
You guys know of any deck that can consistently end on 2 extra level-4's or make a rank 4 at the end of their turn, maybe traptrix with a good opening hand?
Finally, a modern rank 4 deck that actually ends on rank 4 and not link 2 into Fiendsmith plays.
The trap card is probably gonna be called “Raizeol Fire in the Hole!” In the TCG

It seems like josh didn't pick up on the xyz reattach eff being on special and not just xyz summon. Imagine playing through a deadnator pop or two, destroying it, then reviving with quick play to get two more pops. Or reviving the other r4nk to get the 2 searches again. Really cool stuff
Yep, even if it gets banished
1 card combo ends on: both of the xyz, 7 potential targeted destructions( 3 from rank 4 and 2 from trap and the trap adds another material to xyz so +1 and 1 from spell) and the quick play revive. You can also summon utopic future with the traps grave effect or Typhon or something. And since you revive a monster you can also search for follow up. I feel like this might join the pile of small engine and a lot of handtraps decks that are everywhere. This is also without talking about the other rank 4s like redoer, raflesia, dugares etc
Rafflesia is also really nice in this deck cause you can send hole thruster with her effect
@@tariqmcmaster8668 I know but honestly it's better to add the trap and the quick play with duodrive. Raflesia will see play to counter nibiru as it's 1 of the only ways you really can.
Don't forget that you can combo off before going into raizeols. You can springans combo before going into raizeol combo. So you have everything you mentioned plus therion regulus, gigantic sargas and lvl 8 sargas if you do it correctly
You can even do some synchro stuff if it not locks you into snychros. Like swordsoul. If you do that you can have chixiao, blackout and the chengying on the field that punishes summons and spell/traps activations. And you just need one raizeol monster to combo off because almost everything is a starter in this archetype. Ex special, searches ice or sword, either of them can be special summoned, xyz into the searcher and there go. You can now combo off with raizeols. I managed to get chixiao, blackout, chengying, the raizeol search xyz with one material, thruster and the pop xyz with 3-4naterials
@@BloodStrikeee we know, ice into sword, search ex. At this point you are not locked yet so 2 bodies for anything and after that you use Ex for raizeol stuff. The only problem is that you need ice or another out of archetype lvl 4 spammer.
The level lock has to be a reason why they are giving them a hole so they can synergize better with Rafflesia. You'd probably still run a gravediggers as a one of to insulate against nib, then they can use their grind game and pops to whittle down the other side.
Yall don't see the vision:
1x Surfacing Big Jaws + 1x Drake Shark + 2-3x Seventh Tachyon -- easy SMALL rank 4 package that doesn't use NS-- 7th Tachyon also can search any Raizeol by adding #102 and #105 to ED. 1x Toad sent off Ex Raizeol recycles the Shark engine/Dweller (or puts itself back)
To further extend the package: 1x Galaxy Photon Dragon + 1x GE Tachyon Primal. GPD searches Primal which searches 7th Tachyon which searches shark engine OR any Raizeol. GPD also makes Primal level 4 WHILE chainblocking the search. Add in 3x Triple Tact because it's always live thanks to this package.
Where it gets really over the top is adding the Toy package: 3x Toy Box + 1x Soldier + 1x Tank. Soldier can search you half the Raizeol's (or Astraltopia which I like and that also synergizes with the Toy engine). The Toys can be triggered with Ice or Node.
All of this stuff is super compact and synergizes with each other
To answer the "what do you end on?" question: Deadnader + Dweller + Redoer + Plugin + Thruster should be enough because literally nothing sticks on your opponent's board. Redoer should always have a trap under it thanks to Plug-in (I also like 1x Shade Brigandine)
5:04 going first you can theoretically send Heraldry Patriarch which lets you foolish 2 Heraldic Beast monsters. My best idea with this is Leo and Twin-Headed Eagle. Leo adds another HB from deck to hand which you can discard to activate Node's effect. Also you can banish Eagle to give one of your Xyz monsters with no material 2 more materials.
Alternatively you can foolish Leo and Aberconway, add a second Aberconwy and discard for Node, then you can banish one of them to add the Leo back to your hand if you want another discard for any purpose.
It's hilarious how many ways you can set up with this stuff depending on what you want to do. That's the benefit of a toolbox that has every effect from a simple attack negation to the ability to search any Spell/Trap in the game(Alembertian, which you also want to cosider playing for the 3 mat search for any Level 4).

What identity would you rather a deck to have?
I'm only pointing out that how a deck does what it does at least contributes to its identity (since the how depends on the exact cards, this archetype will shape the deck in this regard, so yes, this deck's identity will be unique because of that).
I’d love to see you react to the new flip archetype that just got announced. They seem super interesting. I have no idea if they’ll actually be usable but it’s a new unique idea for an archetype which we don’t get too often
The main problem i see with this deck is how many extenders its going to have will be wild itll probably be near immune to hand traps
Haven’t finished watching your video, but do you think Elder Entity N’tss would be worth for this archetype?

The hole trap is really intrrsting, bevause it can attach itself when sent by rafflesia, therefore you may even attach it to a redoer for a spin, if you somehow get to summon 3 xyzs
The first thing I thought of when I saw this archetype was the old Utopia Double line for game ending turns since it locks you into rank 4s
Gravediggers Trap Hole let's Raizeol make more than 5 summons. You can also use the Toy Box engine to keep extending and play around Perulea.

Man stuff like this makes me wish for circular at 1. Just 4 Mathmech cards in this deck and it would set up superfactorial + Raizeol stuff without even looking at a single link monster for when you go first and than you side that stuff out for going second.
But than again... Superfactorial is just absolutly busted if you can set it up.
I love this archtype it legit saved me from leaving the game I’m so excited to play this deck

Why is it phrased "You can only special summon using the first effect once per turn?" Is it so you can use it after negation?
The 2 biggest selling points is with the Toy Box engine, Rafflesia, and Gravediggers Trap Hole hand traps barely work and they can run a lot of non-engine without going above 40 cards. Its got the formula to be a tier 1 deck on release and stay one unless they get hit sufficiently. It has the potential to be more timeless than Branded. Two or 3 years later it will be a $30-$40 tier 1 deck. Eventually as more timeless decks are made the only valid excuse budget players will have is they can't play whatever they want and expect to have similar success as Raizeol will have and Branded already has.

Yes. The other XYZ also feeds materials to other XYZ monsters which is cool
The quickplay attach effect is a bit odd given the mons don't do much as material or in grave, but it can also equip the trap to turbo the GY effect if the mon you summon can detach.

This is how you balance a deck so everyone uses the archetype's power without spamming generics, wish they would make these types of decks the norm and get rid of tier 0
What I like is that with 2 cards you can stamp it on any deck that ends with 2 level 4 (pendulum loves this shit) and you make the first XYZ, grab 2 Raizol, make the second one and you have 3 card pop with 3k atk
This and Utopia decks will go hard
it feels similar to VS in that its too fair to make a big competitive impact

seeing the effects of the main deck Raizeols, this won't lock you into Rank 4's until you special them by their own effect/condition. so this can definitely play Xyz Armor cards.
Banshee the level 4 pyro xyz seems good with this deck

Konami put restriction to this deck to not make this deck just a Colosus turbo,but yeah it kinda sucks you locked to Rank 4 only,it still tolerable if you locked to XYZ

Honestly, the trap card is kinda broken. The graveyard effect allows you to circumvent the Rank 4 restriction and make a Ty-Phon on your opponent's turn, also circumventing its own restrictions (or at least it's not affecting you on your own turn, which is huge).
I think you play 2 Hole Thruster. Use Rafflesia to activate a second one and bypass the hopt. Plus Rafflesia sending gravediggers can stop nib if you make it early.

Hear me out: It's time for Double Summon to make a comeback.
Make Alembartian, search Circular, send Nabla, tribute Alembartian for Nabla, search superfactorial, and then Nabla get diameter, XYZ for the Raezol that search 2 and continue from there but now with Superfactorial set for the opponent turn.
Josh runs the TCG banlist, circular is never coming back.
@@ProbablyLast and he also plays master duel, where Circular is at 3, and if Raezol have a rarity bump on TCG I would not doubt that they would put it at 1 to sell it the archetype if the tech becomes popular on the OCG.

You send the bagooska off the card that sends an xyz to grave on your turn and bring it back on your opponents. Doesn’t sound terrible.
So the weakness is the effect that reduce enemy monster level by 1 😂

I would love to know the reason why certain things like new rank four have any restriction where as flamberge performing a mini soul charge off of any send arbitrarily doesnt
They didn't really need any imo. Flamberge revive was hard enough to set up it would have been ridiculous to have a lock on it, and the fiendsmith pay offs are limited enough you do need generic options to bridge those engines into for a competent end board.
The bigger problem imo was that they were too generic in the first place. OSS never should have been able to summon any fire level 1. Requiem shouldn't have been able to use a link monster, konami has been very deliberate in making that a clause in other link 1s exactly to avoid this kind of shenanigans.
Even then there's other cards that end up breaking those decks. Like snake eyes without promethean princess would be way more manageable, you'd have to go through so much more effort to loop flamberge. Ban beatrice and fiendsmith gets a lot easier to deal with, though you'd need other cards hit for this as well.
So many inherit special summons with major upsides. Snakes taught me I hate archetypes where everything can special summon itself, or be special summoned by something else and in turn search cards or special summon. Just card soup no bottlenecks all starters and extenders
Does it really matter what you negate if every cards searches or summons from the deck? Like the cards all special themselves from the hand so does it matter if they’re summoned from the deck or hand.
And like what’s supposed to be special about this archetype? They can search and special alot? Yeah never seen that before. Guess I should just be happy the get to set up a lot of destorys instead of omnis 😒
Fair deck will probably have zero impact until it gets a second wave. Or if they murder the insane one card combo decks and generic cards that produce insane board and or floodgates
interrupting this deck will be near impossible, the whole monster cards pool are starters and extenders at the same time, they can't brick too and they can push through boards going second, this is more like mathmech but all monsters are slightly weaker than circular
You don't have a hard to stop otk line unlike mathmech, that seems like this deck't biggest weakness. You're def not trading into their cards with hand traps reliable, you don't have an early omni negate so you're not playing everything at once but it seems like you have lines for dealing with any one hand trap.
What kind of diverse interaction can we add here? Its a lot of single target pops. Raizeol players sweating when I normal Bunbuku

God, I hope the German localisation of the trap will be „Raizeol [or whatever the archetype name will be here] Hallantrieb“ with a clause on the card to treat like a „Fallgrube“ trap card but I fear it will be another localisation that sounds weird and makes me avoid playing the card.

Raizeol on its way to become my favorite deck. It's super cool. Generic stuff, but not too generic. Gives you a lot of room for creative deck building. Feels fair. I can't wait to build this in Master Duel.

This deck seems very good, like Spright level good when they first came out. From what I see, its weakness is that it doesn't have layered interaction like Snake-Eyes. It also lives on full-gas, so going second is not good on its own. But we saw how Rank 2 can carry Spright to this day, even the archetype locks you into Rank 4 still seems very promising.
Spright had built in Nib protection and put up an end board with multiple omnis with a followup machine that target-protects on release. It ain't even close, but it's cool for what it is.
