My Berserk mod in Project Zomboid is available now, and is guaranteed to make you ANGRY...
With this mod enabled, randomly as you play, you'll notice an anger moodle appear, which, over time, will grow and grow, until you finally become enraged. When that happens, all your combat skills get temporarily set to level 10, and you will have infinite endurance. This lets you decimate hordes of zombies without breaking a sweat. But be careful, because once you calm down, your skills go back to what they were and you'll become very tired.

@Noob Playe12 pretty sure there's a variant in the mod that has neck protection but I think it's only 50% from bites and scratches
leather jacket only gives 20/40 of defense so yes, it`s jusstificable for me

Would be hypothetically great for roleplaying if you have the pacifist character trait. A character who's peaceful and doesn't want to hurt anything and just wants to enjoy their daily life after the outbreak, but has bad anger issues, and all the little things pile up over time, until eventually, they can't take it anymore.

I generally keep my games and their mods very vanilla, as I'm cautious not to f up the balancing and intend of the devs, but this mod is a 10/10. Super funny, somewhat realistic & enhances the Gameplay.

I mean some of the time the intent of the devs is for you to fine tune the game via settings and mods for your own perfect experience

if there're options to make it based on what happens to your character that causes them to be angry instead of it being time based i'm down for it, an anger mechanic sounds really fun. maybe it'd also only go away by doing certain activities like killing zombies and could have some negative aspects that occur while angry, like getting more tunnel visioned the angrier your character is
only balance i would add to this would be to make the person go deaf while they are berzerk, maybe a red tint across the screen too while at it

Props to you for adding the tired state at the end, that's how real life Norse Berserkers where after calming down
I would love something like this to be in the game as like a 12 pt trait.
Maybe a bit more, it is max weapon stats for a limited time.
This actually sounds like a very nice idea for zombies topics overall. Just having a character going berserk on hordes of zombies, standing over a pile of corpses sounds badass.
So you basically get Rick grimes powers
Imagine if it had a downside where your character will become uncontrollable and begin swinging wildly at zomboids for a few seconds/minutes
It would be more balanced. Superpowers are not fun

with the "More Traits" mod, theres a trait called berserker where you get one token per Zomboid kill and it gives you some endurance. once you get to 100 tokens, your attack speed rises and your tokens gets set back to 50

Finally, a perk mod that I can fully relate to.
So to sum it up, you become hulk until the sun starts to get low
Now that mod needs the eclipse mod
bit too op, i think it would make more sense if your damage is slightly increased but you build up more fatigue when you hit zombies
Or if your cone of vision is severely decreased, cuz when people become enraged they usually hyper focus on one thing.
Yeah I should make you stronger but as Akon your defense should go down because wall people get mad their vision is cloudy and sometimes they don't make the right decisions Wilder angry

Ok so... as someone who had terrible anger issues and a not so good childhood, I never got tired when I was in that state of mind, if i felt tired at all, i just got angrier and then the tiredness disappeared. I only really got tired afterwards, literally throwing up from exhaustion and the adrenaline high disappearing. It was the most liberating and exhilarating feeling while it happened, but it is the worst thing after it's over.
Bruh... You've never been really angry! There's no such thing as getting tired while you're affected. I remember all my tiredness suddenly dissappear after conversing with tech support (working as a courier)
As a player who just want to have a moment of peace when looting, I see this an absolute win
a beautiful representation of how someone would feel in this world if they didn't have a moment's peace
Imagining just the message saying "rip and tear until it's done" fills me with joy.
Ideas to make this perk more impactful:
1. Taking damage from a zomboid while active increases the duration, and if it's inactive, it will increase your anger after a moderate delay.
(The delay balances it so you don't just run through zombies to get it to proc, also it make sense cuz your survival instinct/fear takes over, and only after you're safe do you get angry for letting it happen).
2. As the anger moodle builds, you become less focused / jittery / tremors that makes all interactions slightly slower.
3. While anger is active, it shrinks your awareness cone.
4. While anger is active, you don't feel effects of fear / become temporarily desensitized.
5. Perhaps make the anger releasable with a keybind instead of at a zombie encounter? That way it doesn't proc when running into a stray and you can hold it until you need it.
6. Make it wind down when exercising!
