As of October 2024 this video has less than 10,000 views and this says a lot about the UA-cam algorithm and the reasons why we are being fooled by it. I’ve been researching and testing email marketing tools for the past 6 years. This review is the most honest I’ve found so far. It deserves so much credit for it. Hope I come back here in 2 years and find it with 1 million views. Cheers

Crazy, I just came to the same conclusion a few months ago! Great choice! I use brevo and mailerlite in two different occasions. Brevo is by far the cheaper one. Mailerlite pricings can increase quite a lot when subscribers go up (at least for smaller companies or individuals) but their pricing is very transparent at least. Also worth noting is that both companies are situated in the EU which explains functionalities like being able to delete subscribers in automations etc. The privacy regulations (GDPR) are very strict here in Europe. Great video, thank you!

As someone who constantly has to do this kind of work for their job (Researching software solutions) I appreciate the level you went into because it's what is required, and I understand just how much effort that takes to actually fully understand a product rather than getting on camera and reading out their features and pricing list and basically doing a live demo for the first time (Which honestly, is like 95% of youtube comparison/software review videos).

Would you ever consider making a video about where to purchase a domain? I've just wrapped up with a few hours of research on that and I have a candidate that I will most likely go with, but I'd like to hear what your recommendation is for a domain reseller.
@@stevebuildswebsites CloudFlare seems the cheapest, Porkbun is fairly close and was the most recommended (although sometimes by paid advertisement), and Dynadot seemed like a great price, but no one talked about it for long. Squarespace is overpriced because most users don't know what a domain costs, Namecheap is no longer cheap, and Hover was recommended by many people because of the other services they offer, although it was on the high end of pricing. That being said, to buy one domain is not very expensive regardless, but money is money.

The one thing I'm left wondering is whether Zoho Campaigns costs so much less money, that it far outweighs the saving of the lacking automatic downgrade. Also, I noticed Zoho costs a lot less in general. Do you think it's because it's an overseas company?

I've used a bunch of these for over 4 years and Mailerlite is still my favorite. It's the best value for the money, and the website builder is wonderful. I've recommended it to a bunch of people who are now using it on their small projects or businesses. Even though they don't pay me (I pay them), I'm more than happy to recommend their product to anyone trying to market online!
