The solar input on this one is the main reason I would want it. But I went with the pecron e2000lfp for the 2-95v solar inputs.

When you understand the chemical processes going on during the charging and discharging of a battery, it is understandable that the manufacturer would disable that function. It's not like with AC pass-through, where the power is just flowing through the device. The DC coming in from your panels (even through ~120v NEMA 5-15) has to charge the battery, which is what the inverter draws from to create AC power. If the inverter had a very wide range of incoming voltage, such that it could bypass the battery as a DC source, creating AC directly (like a microinverter does), that would be a different story. Such is not the case with these portable power stations.

I think the main reason it cannot do solar DC in from the C13 plug and AC out is because its using the inverter in reverse to charge the battery and providing passthrough power to the ac receptacles, but as soon as we provide dc to the ac input it switches off the pass through and turn off the AC synchronisation circuit. Its a safety feature.

Solar Solar Solar Energy input, what ever the battery size is I would like to get it recharged in 4 to 5 hours on solar alone. And get a full night of run time. A little disappointed in this one. Thumbs up 👍 for testing. Your amazing help with what you’ve done ✅

We are testing a more powerful replaceable portable power station, not only can carry backup power, even in the outdoors can also use solar energy to fully charge the portable power station within 4-5 hours, if you are interested, you can follow us, you will get the latest product information and offers.

Can anyone see the folowing happening anytime soon ?
10K for a single Zendure unit capable of holding 30KWY (so it's able to release it's energy reserve from 8PM to 8AM until solar power the next day starts to kick in)
5K for the upgraded solar panel capable of being directly plugged into the single high capacity Zendure, (elminating the need for multiple Zendures, which as best I can tell, are
being plugged into each major use case one by one in different areas of the home, the refigerator in the kitchen, the minisplits for different bedrooms or living rooms, etc..
5K for a few solar panels capable of producing 60KWH a day, so 30K can be enough for 90% to 100% of average home consumption energy, and the excess 30KWH being stored into
the mythical Zendure system , I'm waiting on,
(if this system under 20K is available now, great! where is it in place ?) if not, than until it is, many homeowners are not going to be motivated enough to risk going off grid)
How many KiloWatts run a house ? Answer: 30 (this is before any hopes of having any potential electric car cost covered by Solar Energy/Power Station combination)
(the public car charging station infrastructure is way too unreliable to assume you can always count on it indefinitely) (not to mention it's also not free)
    Because:
How many kilowatts run a house?
the average American home consuming 900 kWh a month or 30 kWh a day,

    and again because:

(The average-sized solar panel will produce between 1.5 kilowatt-hours and 2.4 kWh of electricity per day.)

Nice review here, so 6ea. 5-20R for output on the left side, what is under the green plastic
cover there next to the 6 outlets? Then I see the C14 charging inlet marked 220-240vac
so what 240v recepticle do you have it plugged into. What amps for charging?
    Thanks, Bob R.

I believe the green plastic cover is covering the 12v cig plug output port. I think the pic he showed of the 220-240vac input was just a stock photo he used, probably displaying the units from EU that use 220-240vac as their standard.. and the solar input charging range that the SBP supports is 12-160vmp DC Input, 11amps and 1800w

@@bobrub The 220-240vac inlet port is for countries that use 220-240v instead of 120.

@@mike.briney Thanks for your input here but I was hoping for this to be answered by minutemanprep since he reviewed it, plugged it in to charge and create this video. I am here in the USA where we use 120v240v splt phase electric every day here for our appliances.

@@bobrub I understand bob. I also am located here in the USA (michigan) and just giving my 2 cents and trying to help as I too have had this superbasepro 2000 for about a year now. I'm just thinking the pic he showed in the quick snap was taken off their website and not of his actual USA based unit. My SBP2000 has the 120v input (and is labeled as such) for the c14 ac wall charging plug. So you should be good to go sir. Hope this helps. cheers

If I can't use solar panels with it I can't use it at guide me to take consoler and put out AC power at the exact same time in daytime and nighttime Non-Stop 365 days a year make that thing a hunka junk cuz I won't put a test it otherwise cuz the only thing I could use a solar I don't have the grid I don't have a gas generator all I have is solar panels don't say the good unit if you can't use solar panels in the AC at Zach same time it means it's no good means you have to buy three of them which is a waste of your money just get one unit to work all time.
