Are you plugging the inlet and the outlet? If you’re just plugging the intake, wouldn’t the air just escape out through the valves and exhaust ports? Usually unplugging the intake and then plugging something just before the throttlebody to check all the charge pipes and intercooler.
Good video. I don't know. That seems like a pretty insignificant leak. Mine was in the T line above the relief valves on that side. I ended up replacing all my vacuum lines and plastic vacuum lines. It was pretty easy.
@@menjicar Cool deal. O got some blue vacuum line and replaced all of the black. It looks sweet when the engine is clean. I have jb4 with methanol injection too.
I just did the same thing and found two O-rings on boost sensors leaking, went down to the auto parts store and picked up some O-rings and replaced them
I am having the exact leak as you and I’ve replaced the o ring and bolts and it looks like the bubbles are coming right out of the top of the screws also how much did that leak affect your wgdc?
@@Jakejacobsonn you should be able to find it using the soap and water if it’s a big enough leak unless your wastegates are just going bad and not sealing as good

Yeah it was pretty small but I did find some other small ones. Such as the T as well like you

I’m putting air into mine and it doesn’t seem to fill up with air at all … hoses stay limp and I don’t feel any escape anywhere ..
What size plug did you use for the line that runs into valvecover?
Did you ever find out? Need to do this to my car
Sorry. I used chair leg caps that I got from wallmart. I used them and show them in my blow off valve mod video.

The leak was very small I don’t think it has a big effect. But every little bit helps I guess
@@menjicar ah alright I’m targeting around 27 psi and it’s bleeding off two or three psi to about 23 at redline hoping that was it

They are 22mm black rubber caps that you put on the bottom of chairs and tables
