Thanks for your comments Robinator, I watched Tedwards new video on his 3.4mk2 yesterday and his guage was also reading low! I don't think it's something to be concerned about. It's very easy to hear the motor starving of oil (for a second or two at startup) but once running I'm confident pressure is where it needs to be. Thanks

I just went on ebay..you can buy new ones... Did you know that the brake lights have an oil pressure switch to operate..... Weird hey.
