Yes! It's called Indexing. I do this on my N/A, and feel a difference. I save the spark plug washers, to double up on the washers if I have to or remove the washer if I have to, to dial in the gap towards the intake plenum.

Appreciate the video. One thing I've learned is thst here in East idaho I'm in a dead zone when it comes to tuners. I have an NA k swapped 96 hatch with a k24a2 in it and I've asked around and half of the honda guys around here say there are a good tuner or two and some say there are none. Trailering it far isn't an option for me at the moment either. Moral of the story is I've tuned it to be the correct AFR but without a dyno and a more legit tuner I'm not comfortable with anything more aggressive than stock timing. Looking to go turbo and will likely tune it myself since I am pretty competent with both cars and computers. Software engineer by trade. These videos help a ton, though I'm still very nervous about it.

Never had to go narrower than 0.7mm on any engine ive tuned, cant believe it even runs at cruise with a gap that tight! .. need to try that! only reson i heard not to gap iridium plugs is the potential of snapping off the precious metal part.

Zero issues, so many clients don’t understand what the misfire is so we give them the easiest method possible to duplicate. We could do a gap test one day, I just never have issues and they cruise great.
