Yes! All of the Chase Bliss pedals seemingly have tons of options but didn't always produce usuable results for me -- RMC has a huge sweet spot even with the options.
I dunno... between the DIP switches on the back... the botched MIDI implementation... CB pedals are just meh. Not stereo, "sequencer" - if it's like the "sequencer" on the Thermae may lead to magic or chaos. It's the chaos that is the problem with CB. Making it work within the context of a composition is difficult. It's like they are for playing around having fun with. Which is fine if that is your thing.
I've actually filled every slot of my Rev C. Most of the presets are standard delays! You can get some dark thermae like repeats if you cut the sample rate in half with the hidden mode and roll the filter down. The Mood II, Lossy, and Rev C trio made me sell my Microcosm, actually. I tried to love it for three years, but it's just way too unpredictable for me. Very curious about the Console.. Thanks for the content!
Dont know if i could sell my microcosm but i get you. It's not really "fun" ... but when it works it sounds pretty amazing. Rev c + lossy FTW but that's also $800 vs $400, lol
Totally! It’s a fantastic deal! I just could never get it to play nice with line level. Always an unpredictable lag between the envelope and effect. But the algorithms were great. Only wish the reverb was post fx to maintain the top layer instead of smearing them together. Instant ambient machine all day long. @@MKDVB
As a guy who just messes around in my room, and pokes around in Reaper for fun, a $400 pedal better be the cornerstone of my sound! Had a Gen Loss Mk2 and traded it off for a Deco v2, I like it much more.
Great work! Thank you for your opinion on this pedal, I have been eyeing it... ALSO - thank you for your quote at the end - I was questioning "why" and "is it normal?" to LOVE listening to my own sketches and soundscapes "MORE" than some of my favourite artist's? Now I understand why :)
I love the reverse mode c. I think once you unlock all the delay options, the modulation and the sequencer....its pretty spectacular

Thank you friend! Music is deeply transformative, more so when we start to make our own.
