Rather than building a cabin I would suggest building a pavilion. Posts with a roof and gravel floor with a fireplace at one end. That will give you a place to go when it rains during a get together.
Steak Dinner for Doug, lol. that diesel tank in woods is really cool, 1 thing I learned as a mechanic is, when connecting a battery with jump cables, connect Positive 1st, and Negative Last, and when Disconnecting, Negative 1st and Positive Last, this can prevent any sparks from the battery, now you have battery far enough away from diesel tank so no worries there but ... just FYI.
Hey, Adam. Not been watching your channel very long. You were saying how your fuel bowser needs power & you’re croc clipping on to the batteries of your machines. Google ‘Anderson connectors’. They’re a great way to set up your machinery to get plug & go power. Been around since WWII to get power to accessories & jump start engines without hunting for the batter terminals. Truckers use these all the time.
The camping area is gonna be sweet. I think with the sawmill and having a channel you pretty much have no choice but to build your own cabin. Your subscribers aren't going to let you get away with buying one LOL cant wait to watch the build ;) Catch you guys soon Adam
Adam, how about a wagon or three for putting stuff in and moving back and forth to the house and campsite. About the size of a side by side GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
for equipment battery access, I found taking old extension cords and wiring them to the battery with the plug accessible or mounted then doing the same to your pump with the leftover cord that can reach and now all you do is plug the cord's male into the female and your connections are good to go.
Dougify - too cute. I hope Doug gets a patent on those ideas! He is brilliant! Good job, Doug - great name for the guard plate!! 😂😂 Eastonmade should change their splitters to include your features now 👍 God bless y'all and your families!! 🙏❤️👍 You did a great job on clearing the forest. Cline should have cut those branches that were wiping you out, Adam! 😉👍
That campsite looks great! I'm happy for you guys! I wish everyone could do this on their own property! If I ever come into some money, I'm buying some wooded property and doing exactly what you're doing!😂 I hope you guys have many more fun holidays out there! God bless!
Been watching your channel for a while. your technique has improved a ton! Your very efficient with the log splitter. Be fun to go back to the beginning to see how long it took you then vs now. Lol.
Hello from Bavaria. Have you already tried to limit the back stroke of the splitter? Then you could safe a little more time too. For the wood, try to get the beech trees first, they get crumbly fast if not splitted.
The throttle control and off switch my favorite. I see so many reach across the horizontal ram to adjust the throttle or turn off. This is much safer due not putting your body on a moving part👍🏻👏🏻
Love the cleanup and brush fires to get rid of the old stacks of brush. The place is looking great. I was thinking of the same thing about your stacks of logs.... one bite at a time. you may have to enlist some friends on that one. One wood splitting party a month would really help your cause. 3 or 4 helpers cutting, transporting, splitting would really help get caught for the days you miss.
Such a great video again thank you Adam for sharing You'll have a great place for friends and family to enjoy for years to come and you made your forest so much healthier
Sounds like Mike Morgan is going to cost you another penny or two. You have made your property very serviceable and fun for your family and all your friends. It all looks great. Enjoy!
Love the way the campsite is coming along.. As I was watching you cut logs I kept thinking you need a conveyor belt leading to the machine and save your back.
1st time viewing your channel. Loved it and yes I hit the subscriber button. Love the camp site. You said just what I was thinking. Adding some type of cabin there.
Not a big deal when connecting to the ATV battery, but good practice to always disconnect the negative first and re-attach negative last. Also, adjust that vertical stop on the axis! I will continue to watch for it until you do!
Dough wants me to mention a steak dinner, but I'm not sure who should buy for whom. Dough had so much fun on that last project perhaps he should buy a steak dinner for you. How about make it lobster and both of you guys have at it in the new campsite? Great video Adam thumbs up.
Hi Adam. You have really come a long way with your channel since the last time I checked in. I know that you have all sorts of equipment and you have dialed in a way to do things, but if you ever get a chance, look at an electric powered super splitter. I know it sounds crazy, but I’ve had every piece of firewood processing equipment you can think of and my absolute favorite was a super splitter that ran on 120 V. It cost about $3000 or so and I’ve had two of them. Worth a look. You can turn it on and off and I not have to mess with gas and oil and it really is a fantastic machine. Mike
I want to Talk to you About your Pond!... in order to silt in your pond to stop it from leaking and get it ready for wild life. you need to start dumping your fall leaves in it.. as much as you can. all your fall leaves you can.. that will build your bio load.. and create the nice silty bottom and retain your water!... hope it helps
Dougification, I support this to enter the English language under rural slang and/or trade slang entry. Now if you can get that as a t-shirt in your merch store. 😂
Your battery with solar power at the gas station looks great, but why wouldn’t you install an additional cable such that you don’t need the crocodile clamps every time you use it? Then you only have to un- and redo the connection when you fill up the storage tank.
If you want that firewood processed in a hurry, throw an event for the youtube firewood community. You were at the OWB open house and saw how much got done.
Adam, just curious, why not leave the battery permanently connected to the fuel box? Yeah, there might be some draw... but I would think the solar charger would compensate for that?
Looks good Adam! I meant to message this earlier… @OneEyeCustoms thinks you owe him a steak dinner 😂 … he didn’t say what kind! You could give him the ol smashed ground beef style steak- #frugalminds
Watched to 4:47 and as I've said before, how long before we see all these improvements on the newest models. They should pay you royalties when they make these changes.
In my opinion, everything’s a little bit better with a Honda on it. Briggs & Stratton not allowed to be in my garage. Kohler would be my second choice.
Bring some of the wood chips up and spread on camp site floor to improve appearance and provide a dry surface.
Thinking the same thing, get a chipper up there and instead of burning all of that, run it through the chipper!
Rather than building a cabin I would suggest building a pavilion. Posts with a roof and gravel floor with a fireplace at one end. That will give you a place to go when it rains during a get together.
Hello from Chicago! Meeting neighbor Doug was an absolute home run, you are one lucky guy.
Love all the additions to the axis
Great modifications to the axis. My goal is to someday have an axis. They look like sweet machines
Steak Dinner for Doug, lol. that diesel tank in woods is really cool, 1 thing I learned as a mechanic is, when connecting a battery with jump cables, connect Positive 1st, and Negative Last, and when Disconnecting, Negative 1st and Positive Last, this can prevent any sparks from the battery, now you have battery far enough away from diesel tank so no worries there but ... just FYI.
Awesome add ons on the Axis; enjoy the new site

Wow, you got a lot of work done in this one! And two baskets split!!
Dougify should be your company name now, Doug!! 😉 Great job on the modifications to Adam's splitter!! 👍⭐️
The camping area is gonna be sweet. I think with the sawmill and having a channel you pretty much have no choice but to build your own cabin. Your subscribers aren't going to let you get away with buying one LOL cant wait to watch the build ;) Catch you guys soon Adam
Very nice area. Agree with saw dust and chips for the floor.

Get a chunk of chain link fence and attach to the back of the SxS. Add some logs for weight and drag it around the camp site.
That’s a good idea
Looks pretty peaceful there.
Dougify - too cute. I hope Doug gets a patent on those ideas! He is brilliant! Haha yeah I only took a couple to the face
Good times ahead for that Family Campsite! 👍 Adam…I don’t know how you maintain a full-time job, with all of the work you have with your property! 💪👍
That campsite looks great! I'm happy for you guys! I wish everyone could do this on their own property! If I ever come into some money, I'm buying some wooded property and doing exactly what you're doing!😂 I hope you guys have many more fun holidays out there! God bless!
Adam, you've had that tractor for awhile now. I know you take care of it. You are getting your money's worth out of it. Ole faithful.
Yeah I think 4 years now. Can’t believe it’s been that long
Very smart mods. Pour Doug a tall glass of ice tea.
Been watching your channel for a while. your technique has improved a ton! Your very efficient with the log splitter. Be fun to go back to the beginning to see how long it took you then vs now. Lol.
Campsite looks good too!
All the dougifications.. nice
Hello from Bavaria.
Have you already tried to limit the back stroke of the splitter? Then you could safe a little more time too.

I love the mods, the nut/gut is great...

great modifications !
Such a great video again thank you Adam for sharing You'll have a great place for friends and family to enjoy for years to come and you made your forest so much healthier
Adam, cheap splitting labor here! Great vid as always.
Nice video Adam. You’re developing a great campsite for your family and friends. The perfect spot for “making memories”! - Dick
Now all you need is to spread some of that free wood chips around . Looks good and a nice improvement on the logsplitter
Very nice job on the camp site
A landscape rake would be a great addition to your tractor collection!
Awesome place!
What a great video Adam. Love it.
That's looking really nice Adam!😊
Good job! Looks really good. KC Don 😉

Install a 4 way blade, saving cycle reps, speeding up the process.
Steak dinner for Doug.
Looks good 👍 I bought a Kioti last year. Love it 👍
High quality nut tap footage like that doesn’t come cheap Adam!!! 😂
Removing every other tine from a landscape rake would make that ground very smooth and even mow able with a normal lawn mower.
Doug mentioned there was a kick out of wood at Ohio Wood Burners open house. Glad to see it was caught on video!
Mike on "outdoors with the Morgans" did just that on their Virginia property,
a ready made two story cabin. It's really nice :-))
Dough wants me to mention a steak dinner, but I'm not sure who should buy for whom. Dough had so much fun on that last project perhaps he should buy a steak dinner for you. How about make it lobster and both of you guys have at it in the new campsite? Great video Adam thumbs up.
Steak dinner great job 😅
Great idea with the solar charger and remote battery for the fuel tank!
I hope Doug enjoyed his STEAK DINNER 🤣😂
Nice job on the campsite!! Looks great, how long does it take you to just split and stack an ibc tote if the woods already bucked up ?
Adam maybe have a log splitting party couple times a month? have a cook out, beer and stuff!
yolo.
Looks great Adam. Lots of work. Think how much quicker that would have been with a skidsteer. 😀Dave
Yeah a skid steer would be nice to have
@@HometownAcres I'm sure it's on your list of list of equipment to add to the operation. 😉

Doug should patent the nut buster modification. You know Easton will steal the idea and not give Doug a penny.
Gnut Guard? A combination of gut and nut, with the 'G' being silent.
Man Adam, you got that place looking super. Make sure your guests remove their shoes prior to entering the campground. 😂
Adam, can you (or someone) post a link or product description for that torch you used to get your fire going? Thanks for all the great vids!
Hi Adam. Doug., you’re ingenious. What type of modifications would you make to the federal government?
More videos like this, please.

I just hope it doesn't rain for your camping activity else it may be a mud patch. Long term, is there any grass that will grow under those trees?
"Merriam-Webster? Yeah, I got a new word for you.
Dougification - the improvement of power tools by the use of other power tools...
You're welcome"
Hahaha this one gave me a good chuckle this morning

U owe Doug several steak dinners for his talent
If you want that firewood processed in a hurry, throw an event for the youtube firewood community. You were at the OWB open house and saw how much got done.
Steak dinner for Doug.
nice work on the camp area... we think you owe Doug a steak!
Adam steak 🥩 dinner for Doug and his wife ❤😮
Sounds like your going to own Doug a steak dinner
If that tank was higher up , could you use gravity to flow the fuel? Or to many gizmos in the way?
Steak dinner!
Steak dinner 🍴
How is the pond doing?
It’s going to need some fixing
Tomahawk Ribeye is calling Neighbor Doug’s name!!!
Adam, just curious, why not leave the battery permanently connected to the fuel box? Yeah, there might be some draw... but I would think the solar charger would compensate for that?
Steak dinner for Doug and his wife are in order. 😂😅
Rumor tells it, Mike Morgan knows a guy that could hook you up with that cabin. Lol
Now that you have a campsite you are going to have to build a fort for the kids.
Steak dinner for Doug and his wife.
Solar panel holder , that’s another steak dinner for Doug 😅
Steak Dinner for Doug and his Beloved....
Looks like a nice place to eat a steak dinner
Steak Dinner
look up skid steer log splitter
I still think the axis is better.
STEAK DINNER LOL
Doug - See if you can quiet down these small engines.
You know you owe Doug a steak dinner, or two!
Hey Adam, did you get a chance to read the email that I sent to you about Florida
Looks good Adam! I meant to message this earlier… @OneEyeCustoms thinks you owe him a steak dinner 😂 … he didn’t say what kind! You could give him the ol smashed ground beef style steak- #frugalminds

One more mod for your splitter: an umbrella to keep the sun off you.
Did you get a burn permit
Where do you live?
Georgia
In my opinion, everything’s a little bit better with a Honda on it. Briggs & Stratton not allowed to be in my garage. Kohler would be my second choice.
The vanguard engines seem to be doing just fine
