Bring some of the wood chips up and spread on camp site floor to improve appearance and provide a dry surface.

Thinking the same thing, get a chipper up there and instead of burning all of that, run it through the chipper!

Rather than building a cabin I would suggest building a pavilion. Posts with a roof and gravel floor with a fireplace at one end. That will give you a place to go when it rains during a get together.

Steak Dinner for Doug, lol. that diesel tank in woods is really cool, 1 thing I learned as a mechanic is, when connecting a battery with jump cables, connect Positive 1st, and Negative Last, and when Disconnecting, Negative 1st and Positive Last, this can prevent any sparks from the battery, now you have battery far enough away from diesel tank so no worries there but ... just FYI.

Hey, Adam. Not been watching your channel very long. You were saying how your fuel bowser needs power & you’re croc clipping on to the batteries of your machines. Google ‘Anderson connectors’. They’re a great way to set up your machinery to get plug & go power. Been around since WWII to get power to accessories & jump start engines without hunting for the batter terminals. Truckers use these all the time.

The camping area is gonna be sweet. I think with the sawmill and having a channel you pretty much have no choice but to build your own cabin. Your subscribers aren't going to let you get away with buying one LOL cant wait to watch the build ;) Catch you guys soon Adam

for equipment battery access, I found taking old extension cords and wiring them to the battery with the plug accessible or mounted then doing the same to your pump with the leftover cord that can reach and now all you do is plug the cord's male into the female and your connections are good to go.

Have you already tried to limit the back stroke of the splitter? Then you could safe a little more time too.
For the wood, try to get the beech trees first, they get crumbly fast if not splitted.

Love the cleanup and brush fires to get rid of the old stacks of brush. The place is looking great. I was thinking of the same thing about your stacks of logs.... one bite at a time. you may have to enlist some friends on that one. One wood splitting party a month would really help your cause. 3 or 4 helpers cutting, transporting, splitting would really help get caught for the days you miss.

Hi Adam. You have really come a long way with your channel since the last time I checked in. I know that you have all sorts of equipment and you have dialed in a way to do things, but if you ever get a chance, look at an electric powered super splitter. I know it sounds crazy, but I’ve had every piece of firewood processing equipment you can think of and my absolute favorite was a super splitter that ran on 120 V. It cost about $3000 or so and I’ve had two of them. Worth a look. You can turn it on and off and I not have to mess with gas and oil and it really is a fantastic machine.
