This woman seems so wholesome, kind, gentle, and nurturing. Russell may sometimes miss on the court, but this dude not miss in choosing his wife.
His court abilities made him a multimillionaire, so he must have done something right there as well, like bein an MVP etc…
Do not take this for granted because he NEVERS does podcast. My guy!
For sure!! Highly appreciative 🤲🏼
He had no choice but to do this one 😂😂
@@FreekieFred Big Facts 😂😂
Husband duty lol
I know. I scoured UA-cam for Russ interviews, and there's literally nothing but this.
This is what every man wants. This is the strong black woman. A woman that supports her marriage and family. Then still finds the time for her own life but her priorities are in line. Shes firm yet calm. Beautiful union
Facts...
I totally get it, cuz I think White people should be with other strong White people, and as White people they should want that. So again, I can totally relate.
Why does it gotta be a strong “black” woman?
Strong black woman? What does that mean?
I hate the term strong. Can we just be black women, and be able to be feminine, and sometimes weak. Other then that I love ur comment
FINALLY A PODCAST WITH THE BRODIE
Faxxxxx💯💯 , the 🐐 russ
Long awaited. We need that Paul George pod next
Triple dub god
Yea, Russ never does these sort of podcasts.
Nice to see!
Been praying for times like this 🙏🏼
Russ so wholesome 😭 how do people hate this man
The media smh
All of that hate he receives over a stupid sport. It's crazy. He's a great guy
because it’s no life mf’s who lose sports bets or jus feel like they actually a part of the team shi funny Fr
Now you Know the dark secrets of wicked hateful humans in the media world, good dude like you said.
In this forum he is extremely likable……but his on court persona and the way he acts as a victim makes him annoying (won’t say unlikable).
Russ has been my favorite player since 2014. His intensity on the court is unmatched, it’s nice seeing him on the podcast and people see how chill he really is
same brotha same
got that DAWG x10 in him.

@@Memebrain777hater just appreciate russes greatness he’s a legend
@@Memebrain777 u say the same thing everyone says buddy. be unique
"Whatever's better for the kids, that's what we do." God bless you two! And Russ is the ultimate athlete role model.
This is the Westbrook who people didnt know and his off-court personality. I love him and his wife having a sit down. She is the type of woman who most men would be afraid of. She is a real one. They will be together for a long time. Russ you got a dime!!!!
not at all. most men would appreciate her. she is a jewel. she should create a TEMPLATE. way too many skanks out there-
She a REAL 1 !!!!!

Russ I. Love you more it's your temperament dog family first keep on learning your mate 👑
When I worked a preseason game for the Timberwolves, at the end of half time, OKC was leaving the visitor’s locker room and headed to the court. I was in the tunnel near the court. Russ, who was and still is one of my favorite players walked past me. Now, there was a policy for the Timberwolves that we, employees, are not to talk to the players even if they initiate it. However, I was so star struck and the words, “yo, what up Russ,” just slipped out of my mouth. I believe Russ knew it was genuine. Russell turned back, smiled, gave me the head nod, and said, “what’s happening baby!?” I had a lot of fun memories but that’s my favorite when I’m worked for the Wolves. Go Russell! I hope you get your ring this year with the Clippers. You already have the most important one with Nina! ❤
Love this story- it’s the little moments that last a lifetime. You are right about that ring!
Love this! Russ is a good dude, seems quiet and introverted. Alot to learn from this conversation 🤞🏽
right for such a ferocious guy he seems shy as hell on an interview.
@@DaTruthHurtzzzzwhen it’s someone new, he doesn’t really open up and seems like an a hole but if ur kind and
Genuine to him he’s such a nice guy. I’ve heard so many stories about Russ where if u come up to him when he’s busy he doesn’t like that. But there was one time when he was eating in a restaurant with his wife in okc and no one bothered him so he went up to everyone after and talked and took pics.
@@DaTruthHurtzzzzShyness is not introversion duh.
@@kronicclaps3579He's kind and not nice. Nice means stupid etymologically.

Wow did she study psychology, she's so calm direct, accountable n yet un accusatory. This is how a healthy relationship looks like...
This is a real couple.
Always been a fan of Russ and you two as a couple.
Married 15 years here. I wish you and your beautiful family the best.
I respect Russell even more now - being in a stable and good relationship with a good woman for so long 🎉
Russ a true Scorpio, we love quiet women…. Something about a quiet confidence that makes you intrigued, creates an allure.
Love to see a healthy, nuclear, Black family. God bless y’all, wishing you nothing but blessings, success and good health 🙏🏿
I completely get it, cuz I love seeing strong healthy White families, and White procreation. So I can totally relate to that sentiment.

She's an amazing intelligent and well mannered level headed partner!! Westbrook is a lucky Man.
I did my daily search on my fav player Russell Westbrook expecting the typical dose of highlight videos, and instead I got this treat of an intimate conversation with Nina Westbrook 💕
Same bro. They really deep in love still
Same here. He’s my favorite player as well
I see why Russ is so mentally strong. His wife is amazing
He probably also goes into her closest and tries on her skirts and dresses 👗

She made him soft actually
I see why Russell Westbrook is so successful.
She is amazing. It shows that she really runs that household (with her husband's support), and she is so firm yet balanced, calm, and composed. He surprised me too, and I was impressed by the humble way in which he let his wife lead and really tried to add value to the conversation. You can tell that he really respects, admires and relies on his wife--as it should be. I really enjoyed listening to this conversation.
My favorite player of all time. They love to hate on my guy. I live in OKC,and he came to my job at SeeWorth Academy. He poured out into the children, especially our young female students. They were so drawn to him. Wonderful to see. ThunderUp Russ!!! We still love you here!!!
The coolest thing about this king of q&a , it’s like some sort of therapy where you get to unpack certain things
I am Lakers fan, and Westbrook will always be one of my favorite lakers. My son adores him, he puts his pictures everywhere.
Especially, how professional he is to whatever team you throw him. He gives it all, and never complains. He is a model NBA player.
I love the way she’s elegant and articulate. She’s feminine and ladylike, seems like she’s a deep thinker also. This is what I’m looking for in a Wife.
Most of us men want these type of women. Just natural, none of that extra stuff
Russ and Kawhi my two favorite players so their link up made my heart smile. I always pray for Russ
The fact we get to see our boy brodie doing a podcast n with his wife is even more cool been a fan of brodie since I was 10 I’m 22 going on 23 now n live all the way in nz n will forever n always be a brodie supporter no matter what 💯💯☝️❤️
Yh same bro Westbrook for life
Who else hit subscribe because she is supportive of her husband? My first time seeing her🙏 You are a wonderful Wife Mrs. Westbrook

Beyond Basketball, Russell and Nina Westbrook are one of my favourite couples. I love you guys and I am always praying for you guys to be together forever.
She’s so lucky Man. Men like Russ are so rare now a days. ❤️💯
so excited to see Russ finally do a podcast! Keep going Nina!
I love this man so much, my hero , Russell Westbrook you were my childhood. The impact you’ve had on my life is just crazy man thank u so much really hoping we can go far this year and win a chip!
Got me into basketball, I was 9 playing 2k16 and chose okc because i saw this 93 rated PG with a cool name. Never looked back then
This shit gon hit different fr. This is real communication between partners. Genuine interest real listening & a firm frequency & pace. They real friends 🔥💯
Real communication don't take place in front of a camera for millions of people to like.
@moralescorner It matters too. Just because they on camera don't mean they're faking it.
Blown away by your understanding, patience, and energy with one another. This is what a healthy relationship looks like. Wish you continued success and happiness.
I didn’t know Russ was chill like that never seen him do interviews outside of basketball interviews but I really love his chill personality
Any real NBA fan recognizes Russ for the incredible/inspirational athlete he is. One of my all-time favorite NBA players
Always happy to see beautiful melanin Queen and King together. Making their lineage bloodline strong and stronger proud of you all
Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, Mr Russel Westbrook, your soooooo sooo different in here sirrrrrrrrrrrrr, sirrrrrrrrrr, I am a great fan since OKC days from Ghana. Sir you are great and keep killing it sir. Thank you Nina for this, this is a side of Mr Russ we hardly see or the MEDIA does not let us see often. He is a great basketballer, my MVP anyday, great father and super HUSBAND.
crazy this is the first time I've seen him sit down for a real interview, and it's with his wife.. this why you my dawg for life 🙌
This is much more professional and graceful than the Red Table Talk. But the one thing that surprises me in this episode is that it's not sponsored by HALLS 🤭
Big props to Nina and Russell Westbrook for the candor.
Keep up the good work!! 👏🏾
Been watching Russ since he got in the league and he was my fav player. Love the passion he brought to the game. Only dude who could come close to Kobe (RIP) in terms of his mental state - cold blooded. Russ is one of the most athletic and exciting players ever. It’s nice to see that a great player has an equally great wife and a seemingly healthy respectful relationship! 😁👏👏👏
I love the Westbrook’s. Russ will always be my fav player hands down. I was so excited to listen to this podcast because he has probably only done two his whole career. This is the stuff that the media never shows about him that he is a good husband & father. Yes he’s a beast on the court but he’s a cool dude off the court.
They both chose well in being with one another. Excellent Post, you two. Continued Blessings 🙏🏾
I love this. Not just because of how it was done, and I love family. It shows Westbrook as the human he is for people who thought otherwise and it helps people who for whatever reason can't separate the man from the athlete
Russ is very disciplined and is definitely the glue of this relationship I respect russ alot more off the court after seeing this 💯he understands how to be successful on and off the court, can't hate this guy.
nina radiates the energy i'm sensing from my future wife ❤ wherever she is and whoever she is 😂
😂😂😂
On my soul 💡😂😂😂😂😂😂
How lame can you be, bro...
It’s not even funny, she is perfect
What an elegant Lady, beautiful couple. Broodie in a podcast is what youtube needed 🙌
I hope that women especially the young women see this video and it encourages them that having standards and ambitions for yourself can still attract the type of love you deserve. Not only that the importance of being authentically with morals, values, and integrity.
Great video
I like Nina's questions, and I like what Russ said about there not being one perfect way to parent. My wife and I have learned that in raising three awesome, but completely different young boys.
Also, their respect for each other is clear. Even where they disagree
One of my favorite players of all-time. The way he goes out night in and night out puts him on a very short list in today's league.
Seen brodie instantly clicked on and literally subscribing and following for her. She seems so genuine, and Russ parenting style seems just like mine. So seen it from her side is a very different outlook. Definitely sticking around to learn more.
Shoutout to Nina Westbrook doing her thing out here! Shoutout to the Brodie for supporting his love.
A GREAT start to my day, I don’t know anything other than Russell seems to be outside the box of a
Privileged ❤Athlete, I’m searching for words…I’m a pro-Black Grandma and I LOVE to see the loving and positive!❤
This **unrandomly** showed up recommended for me. They are such a breath of fresh air! I like their dynamic. (They look like siblings.) Thanks for sharing! May God continue to bless you, your marriage, your children, your ministries (incl. this podcast) and so much more! In Jesus' name.
@14:31 - This "difference" in "versions" of intimacy (i.e., love languages) is exactly what Laterras R. Whitfield of Dear Future Wifey said broke up his marriage in his recent podcast with Hardly Initiated. It's commendable that you two know how to successfully navigate this difference. This just confirms that someone with physical touch as their love language doesn't always have to get that need fulfilled by sex because it includes all kinds of touch.
This is cool to see. Russ has always been a good dude. People just follow the media or get in their feelings about basketball. This guy has been with the same woman since his freshman year of college. Has a family. He gives. A really good and solid dude
Jay White was here 🙏🏽Glad to see Russ happy and showing people the good side of him and marriage
I'm glad I found this channel. Beautiful couple...Russ we got your back out here, I'm happy that you are a great example. You've clearly been a family man first...this is why your unwavering fans ride with you amidst the media nonsense.
Never kno what to expect from my guy. Still not surprised. But finally I can get some bump in conversation longer than 10mins from the man himself.
Russell is an amazing young man and he has a great partner. Much love you guys!
I love this. I'm fairly new to being a Russell fan and I've never seen his wife. This whole episode is awesome and now I'm a fan of the Westbrook family for life.
Wow she's very pretty. Soon as I heard her talk and saw her expression you could tell she's a good woman good for you brother
I love Russ self-confidence and how he handles the media when playing. However, this was a blessing to see the softer side of Russ; my take away from listening is you two have become one in this covenant of marriage. You don't see it to often but when you do it's beautiful to behold.
You have a new subscriber here.
This was such a huge blessing to watch. I’m forever a fan of Russell Westbrook. May God continue to shine forth His riches blessings on your union and the kids. One Love from Jamaica 🇯🇲💛💚

We needed that from Russ…this guy has a lot to tell about the great man he is. It is very important to control your narrative! Respect Russ 🙌🏾
I love it that you are both involved in each other's feelings and also respecting and encouraging one another in your relationship. Beautiful, just beautiful. Super positive!!❤❤❤❤❤
They look so happy together, I want what they have someday 😢
Russ is genuinely such a good dude man. So many of these athletes have a bad reputation but at the end of the day, bro is content with his family and wealth, glad to see this!
great seeing russ laughing and happy.
I enjoyed this podcast. First time ever tuning in. Got to see a different side of Russ outside of the NBA. Love and respect y’all relationship and how y’all raising y’all kids. Much respect Dawg
Congrats Russ! Looks like you won life. Where can I find a mature woman like her? Shes smart, beautiful, confident, and respectful.
Russell is my favourite all time basketball player!!!!! He seems like a great dude, much love from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
I really enjoyed this discussion between Russell Westbrook, and Nina Westbrook. It was so enlightening, and very informative. Nina, you're such an good intervewer. Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤...
Loved the conversation, this is a beautiful couple! Blessings to you both. I have a different perspective of Russell now. He is a great DUDE as BBall players described.
We ( Me and my wife ) love y'all, hands down One the best couples period. Russ I'm a huge fan, love you bro, hate how the media try to betray you black man. Keep doing yo thing
Way to go Mrs. Westbrook!!! ❤ Russ way to make this union elevate to the next level!! #blacklove #NBA #relationshipchronicles
One of my favorite couple, goals for sure
Yep but if anyone can do it Nina & Russ can ride this marriage out for eternity. We want y’all together as long as Denzel & Pauletta💪🏾
Russell Westbrook one of the greatest to ever to do it ! Props on the podcast to both !
Man snatched & wifed her up before negative external influence overshadows her core traditional values lol. What a beautiful couple! Cheers to another 16 years of learning about yourselves and growing together. The lot of women outchea are easily influenced by what they see on these junk apps, as much as some of we men want to get married, we're slowly but steadily deleting those thoughts, our expectations are low, & even if we find a 'Nina', there'd be prenups because people change like Ayisha curry, not saying she's bad, but the signs are already emerging😅
This is why Russell so successful, he ain’t around no crazy women
Great couple. Great people
Great role models. Great parents.
I love to see two people genuinely in love, let’s goooo
Nina: “… I wanna hold them”
Russ: “yeah, I don’t wanna do that” lmao
This was a great conversation and vibe. Very inspirational and educational.
Glad we finally got to see Brodie on a podcast 💯
I am a fan of the basketball player. Seeing the man in his personal atmosphere. I really like the man. He comes across as a caring, funny, happy, intelligent, and truthful person.
More to admire. Thanks.
“I can go to bed feeling better about myself”
I love Russ man 😂
I like this interaction! Glad I can see Russ outside of the court. Great conversation!
Love this. I applaud you all as a couple. So authentic and such love snd friendship displayed between you two.
😂😂😂
12:00 was real life demo of his explanation on conflict. Nina was direct “I don’t like that explanation!” and Russ was passive like uhhhh ok, well.. 😂😂😂
Love this, this is why a child needs to healthy parents like them. Its supposed to be like this
16:01 timestamp is defo my favorite !
This is such a great conversation and gift to the world. From prior years of observations , I could tell Russ had a chill personality and tries to make everyone around him happy... but watching this video helps to understand his underlying mindset of pursuing simplicity and not overthinking stuff. Nina's personality matches well with Russ' and both continue to do a great job working well as a couple, raising a family and being role models in the world. Great way to start the weekend. Thank you and I'm sharing this!!! ♥
This man Russ influenced my whole childhood love this man and his family
THANK YOU NINA!!!!! I’ve wanting him to do a podcast and what’s better than to do it with your wife. LETS GOOOO tell him I love him
So shocked I ain't seen this when it first came out.
Been wanting to see Brodie on a podcast for years.
I clicked to support my guy✌.... But to be honest, I actually became a fan of him when he joined the Clippers.... After all the attacks on his character and game, and then seeing his energy and the love he got when he joined my team I became an IMMEDIATE fan... Blessings to you and the family my brother, you are an INSPIRATION to MANY PEOPLE.....Blessings🙏🇹🇹
Damn, Nina… this was an amazing podcast. I’m a half white, half asian man dating a black woman for four years, and all I want to do is make her happy. I am a Russ fan as I’m from OKC (and how I got to the video), but you made so many good points and observations, especially about having kids. We’ve always talked, self-reflectively, about our relationship and future goals, and been honest and open with each other… but seeing how you (and how you’ve challenged him) and Russ have navigated your relationship really inspires me about our future and how we can be successful even if we don’t always align (and how to work on that). We do want kids in the future. Thank you so much for this! Im gonna keep watching!
Talking about how treating your relationship like you treat your children-always changing, that really was some wisdom I took to heart
I love this! Thank you for sharing both of your perspectives, it helped me out to see the other persons view! ❤
Yooo this is amazing thanks for doing this. Russ you a legend bruh keep doing what you do!
To paraphrase Dostoyevsky, to love something you must be honest about it.
One of the most enriching aspects about following Russell’s career is that forced me to be good at seeing what was actually happening. So many people would have strong opinions, one way or the other, that it made it difficult to process what was actually happening.
But eventually it forced me to just view things more concretely and to better at spotting what was important or where the weight was. It helped me immensely in my interpersonal relations.
Thank you to both of you, and I wish your family love and joy.
