    Thanks for this tutorial Rikard. You used "fill layer" to reduce the intensity of the effects a couple of times. Why did you chose fill instead of layer opacity? (As far as I can tell you were not using blending modes where fill plays a special role). Thank you.

      Since I discovered that certain blending modes have a different effect when changing fill instead of opacity, I've made it a habit to adjust fill rather than opacity on layers that don't use the normal blending mode. At some point I might put up a cheat sheet of which blending modes use fill for intensity, but until then I know using fill instead of opacity will never have the WRONG effect, whereas using Opacity might. :)
