I'm also a FTGD and stepping up my Illustrator skills a couple years ago was a huge game changer. It was like opening the sandbox of design. I worked through the Adobe Illustrator books and supplemented with great youtube content like this. I also did the Daily Logo Challenge and it forced me to learn everything I wanted to make more quickly. G'luck!
It's criminal that you dont have more subs! You should do a video about fonts and how you find them, you have a great collection, and maybe you could share your go-to fonts, a list would be amazing.

I HAVE A THUMBNAIL idea. you should have your face in the bottom centre looking up at the 3 giant posters each cut up into 3 pieces and then you can have a gradiant background
What happens if you have a file without bleeding? I feel like a lot of art shops online just sell digital prints without it. Will it always have the white frame then? Somehow I just can't understand bleed, no matter how many times I read or watch something about it. (LOVE THE VIDEO, thanks so much :) )
I want to make my own band posters because I can’t find ones I like and I want the posters to go together aesthetically while still being true to the band. I find it so intimidating because it will be on my wall for everyone to see.

Hi Katrina! New sub hehe. I'm self taught on Illustrator but I only use it for the line work/art and color it in Procreate because I want to save it in PNG with a 300 dpi. When I save it as PNG on illustrator as 300, it becomes 72. Does saving it in PDF print better or it doesn't matter at all?
printers prefer a PDF version! Not sure why it changes to 72 when you go to save it as 300 though :( I have printed things out in jpg/png format and haven't had too many issues though
