Great job ending GB in their own house. I look forward to you guys tearing things up even more next season and being a fun challenge for us. Just don't stomp us too bad when we come to visit. I'm from Detroit born and raised and people that are from here are very proud or hard-working and we think always that we're the underdog. I liked it all roads lead to Detroit. Before the super bowl Detroit had a dynasty and all roads did lead through Detroit. They call us the city of champions cuz at one time the Red wings tigers and lions and we had the heavyweight champion of the world Joe Louis there is no other city like that and has done that. That shows you the heart of our city. God bless Detroit.

What a great game, and great turnaround of a season. The foundation has been laid - the defense has impact rookies and the offense was easily top 10. I’m looking forward to seeing the rookies take the 2nd year leap, the team stock up more through the draft, Jamo and Goff get some more chemistry, and who we sign in free agency/retain. The man at the helm is absolutely the reason. Yes all players buy in, we have to draft quality players, we have to sign great FA's and the owner has to care and give all the necessary resources. But if you don't have a person pushing all the right buttons and can't lead men then it don't work. I've been saying for years to be a coach in the NFC north we need a hard-nose smart physical coach. Yes some say marinelli was tuff and Martz was tough. I mean an ex player with the heart of yes I'm gonna say it a LION. He sugar coats nothing, he's so damn transparent, he don't shy away from anything. Tells it like it is and owns it. And not to mention he's smart as hell, contrary to alot of opinions. It's absolutely the hardest thing in sports to do is change a culture and a multiple decade long culture at that. I feel he's the man for the job and I hope he's here for years and years. And if and when we make the playoffs and win a Superbowl there will be a MCDC Statue in front of Ford field. Sol is dead. Let's get used to this. It will be hard but I feel it. And I'm not just a young fan. A die hard 51 yr old fan who has seen everything in Detroit for a long time. This feels and looks like nothing I've seen. Better than the Wayne era too. #oneopride

Coach Campbell instilled a level of discipline and pride in these boys that is unlike anything I've seen before as a Detroit Lions fan. Been watching the Lions since 2011 when I was 10 with my dad and grandpa. We had kinda fell off the tradition of watching every week until this year. We were 2-6 and I told my dad to make sure he wasn’t doing anything on Sunday so we could get together and watch the lions again. We didn’t stop after that. This season gave me memories I’ll cherish forever.

I feel that. My father in law used to watch with his wife (my wife's mom). We lost her to cancer a couple years ago. We both love the lions so I watched it with him this year from hard knocks to preseason to know. I can't remember a season that I've had more fun watching nfl football. I could say 1991 when we beat Dallas in the playoffs, but I worked and missed a bunch of those games. I can't wait for next year. Go lions !!

Love that Campbell gave a game ball to Sheila. She really doesn't get the credit she deserves. How she wants this team to be THE team in the NFL, the fact she hired Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell because she knew they could be the GM and coach to lead Det to places it hasn't been to in the Super Bowl era. And the vote of confidence she gave in them after starting 1-6. The other Ford owners were content to let this team get mollywhopped each and every year, and she had enough of that. She's who really started the rebuild of the Brand New Detroit Lions

    どんなに手ごたえのあるチームでも、いかんともしがたい差、経験や歴史の違いがあるからね。

    弱く、これといった歴史を残せていないデトロイトだからこそ、過去を見て力の源にしないといけないってこと。

And actually invested in seeing this team Thrive. Those three, Sheila, Brad, and Dan seem to be the perfect combination and perfect team. I'm so happy they have shown her faith in them was the right choice. She's the one that ended the fat pirate Era and brought us into what may very well be our most competitive one yet.
