I’m a born skeptic. I was at a party where Oz was the featured performer. He asked 6 people randomly, including myself to pick a number from 1 to 60. He wrote the six numbers down on a blackboard in numerical order. He then chose a woman (who I was friends with) randomly and asked her to come up on stage. He handed her a wallet and asked her to open the zippered compartment in it. Inside was a lottery ticket. He asked her to read the numbers. The numbers on that ticket were the same numbers we gave him randomly and he showed it to us. I’m no longer a skeptic about this guy. He’s amazing.

Derren Brown uses hypnosis for example for his mentalist tricks. The thing is that you can make people react to certain words, like commands, and then make them perform a certain action. Derren Brown for example can walk up to a stranger and say "Look at me for a second" and then he has captured them. Here's the thing, at 1:43 you hear Oz say "Forget about magic tricks", he then proceeds to point at Joe Burrow and they make eye-contact, this is most likely where the trigger event happens and he goes into a hypnosis, and he quickly proceeds with his performance. Also, before the fake throw he tells Joe Burrow to close his eyes, this all points towards hypnoses. Also he asks Tyler Boyd to close his eyes, even more hypnosis. So what he does is that backstage, maybe even hours before the show, he plants his trigger events into his selected targets, and so they give him the numbers or the answers that HE have told them to say. So when you consider that this is actually not only tricks but backstage preparation with hypnosis, you really appreciate the skills and the fascination of hypnosis itself.
I suggest you guys to checkout some hypnosis acts here on UA-cam and then comeback to this video, and you can understand that under hypnosis you can tell a person for example that "We have never spoken before", and you can even tell them to perform an act, and you can give them directions on what they will do.

I've watched this like 20 times now. I have come up with a theory now. The passes were just straight guesses, but they were predictable. First pass was an easy one, right next to him. He's right handed, so Trenton was the first guy he saw when turning to the right. Then as a test, he was gonna pick someone way in the back. Then There's only like 10 people left at that point, and you could expect a fake was coming.
On the first kiss thing. The players went nuts after Burrow said Sarah without Tyler even showing it yet, so his teammates behind him knew the name before he even said it. Someone could have whispered or lip read it.
