I would like to see another "rusty rail" if you're ever on that job again. But your videos are great viewing, always with a couple of chuckles thrown in. Thank you Dale...all the best.
Many thanks, Dale, for yet another very watchable video - this one especially interesting as it's a full-length trip, with the uncertainty of whether the camera battery would last the course... maybe it liked the cab's air conditioning being on, too! Like many others, I’m sure, I really enjoy the relaxed and friendly commentary that you provide for the entertainment and enlightenment of “us lot”. Plenty to learn from you in each and every video!

Hi dale when you where about to stop at Green park you said not going to fast on right side did you not see the mouse run under Gray cabinet Roy fay Scotland
Hi Dale! Another great video thanks! One of the highlights for me was the little mouse scurrying across the platform at Knightsbridge (I think) 55:50 in to the video! 😂 Love the bonus videos too!
I've just seen another two! This time at Holborn, timing 1:01:37. Then another one at Russel Square, timing 1:03:10. These 2 new ones run off the platform ends.
Just before the radio went off for the engineering works i was thinking wow the radio hasn't been this quiet in quite a few videos. Cracking video Dale
thanks for the video dale, the only trouble is i find them very relaxing an usually nod off before the end, so it takes a couple of viewings to see it all. keep up the good work.
Hi Dale. covid was a strange time. I had a full day on the bus taking 1 kid to school instead of 75 and bringing her back home too. 6 hours a day split shift. caroline
Hey Dale, Saturday means Piccadilly line time with Dale, love your videos and can’t wait to see more. Also thanks for the bonus vids keep them coming 😂. Greetings from Vienna Austria.
A New Yorker here. Take the 6 local train from the last stop (Brooklyn bridge city hall) and ride it around the old NYC city hall station. You can also visit the transit museum in Brooklyn
This journey was 1000% more happier than the last one due to no issues with passengers blocking doors and people feeling sick on the platform. Nice to see the Russel square eastbound platform again and do hope that child is alright even though it was 2 weeks ago. Nice drive Dale, honestly is just relaxing to watch. Dw there ain’t anymore questions from me so you can catch your breath. goodnight
Fascinating to watch - I have played the Train Sim World Waterloo Underground, so while I can appreciate some of what is going on, seeing it done by a real professional on the real tracks, takes the experience to a whole new level. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Dale for another great video. I'm always fascinated when you show us things we wouldn't normally see. And your level of knowledge is right up there. Please keep the vids coming.

Love these long videos! Back in 2014, it was said that all Piccadilly line trains would eventually stop at Turnham Green at all times, once modernisation of the line was complete, including the signalling. Apparently, without the new signalling it would cause too much disruption to journey times. I'm assuming given the funding has so far not covered the new signalling system, this won't be happening for a while if at all anymore!
All seems right with the world when Saturday comes around and we get another great video that has the comforting opening line from Dale, ‘we’re running a few minutes late.’ 😂 seriously, thanks for your great videos, Dale ❤
Great End to End vid, learning so much on driving a tube. New York is amazing you think London doesn’t sleep wait till New York it’s like London on speed!!!😂❤
Hi Dale, yes please to the full shift videos! 18:06. Your uploads are now my weekend treat. Also don’t worry about repeating yourself. When I drive I keep saying service 1 or 2 to myself when I pull up! Keep up the good work. Neil.
I didn’t manage to film a full day when we was doing the King’s Cross. However we have 16 days of no service between Wood Green and Cockfosters coming up so I will try and film one of those days
The days off did you good! Very chipper at the beginning, a great commentary all the way. Yes, love the midweeks. You are always careful, you said you had been maybe lucky about something, can't remember what, but like some great man said, the more careful you are, the luckier you get! Everything you do resonates with me as l used to live at Southgate and now South Herts so Cockfosters is my station now. Also my late partner and l were into trains in a big way, went to and from Edinburgh often, so am looking forward to that. Also he was an Aeroplane engineer for BA at London City, so l like the trips you take by air. Have been to the preserved railway at Peterborough twice too, and several big Antiques Fairs at the showground . So the journey into work would be good too. Enjoy being owned by the cats!
Great video as always Dale. Somewhere in the pipe you mentioned about Live filming. Whilst it's not possible due to the reasons that you mentioned, they are rolling out 4G/5G coverage across all of the tube network. The sections on the Piccadilly line that are covered is Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, Russell Square station and the tunnel section between Hyde Park Corner and Russell Square that is now live, and was quite surprised to be watching UA-cam whilst in the pipe. The rollout is slow but at some point all of the deep level tube sections will have full 4G/5G coverage. The plan is that all the London Underground, Docklands Light Railway, London Overground, and the Elizabeth Line will be covered by the end of 2025. I very much doubt it though. The other advantage of this is that they will also host the ESN (Emergency services Network) which will allow first responders access to live saving data etc.
Love the vids dale. Was down from Scotland when the pic was terminating at King’s Cross and all I can say is I will miss the 73 stock when they retire true workhorses
I can't put my finger on it but all your videos, short or long, are interesting. It will be good to see your DC trip. I thought it was a great city. And let's hope that Down St doesn't get cancelled!
Another great Video. Thank you again for filming these, it is always great when you takes all along for the ride, do any of your colleagues on other lines record their view too, obviously they would unfortunately not have you but at least we would see their view. Interesting to hear your plans. The round up video would be good. Like the idea of the Caledonian sleeper, also would be nice for you to film the Inverness to English Border route as it travels near the coast As you keep having to check batteries, if you have one of the car dashcams then can run off a 12v (Cigarette ) socket if the trains have one, they are also designed to pick up detail in low light. Don't think these get old as it is always different as every journey is different. The Bonus Clips are great, please keep them coming, I cant speak for all of 'us lot' but I find all your videos excellent If you have had a covid trip with as low as 12, what was the most? Tours of Down Street Station, are available for now but they are retiring the tour apparently according to an e-mail that came out last week, so you would need to do it by Nov I think, You can take photos and short clips but don't know if you can film full thing, they may allow you given they are retiring the tour if you ask beforehand. Maybe you could speak with the team at Hidden London and offer to film all of their tours, and then put highlights of them on here Did you ever ride the tube before the re-alignment of Finsbury Park to add the Victoria line There was one of your earlier northbound (Eastbound) videos where we could see a Vic Line train It would be great to have you on the DVA, rather than the deadpan voice currently on there, it would be nice to hear a human not a robot Does the power go off regularly? what reasons may the power go off? What is the official procedure if power goes off? Can you film behind scenes at any of the stations?
You have a long run from Osterley to Boston, cos tfl shut my favourite old station of Osterley Park - used it regularly in the 1980s. Sad to see it as you run through nowadays!
You spoke a lot about the importance of concentration. We’re going back soon me 30 years, but there was an instance where I was observing while my subway route instructor was driving. I was asking him a question and in the middle of his answer he said “I almost blew that double red!” Of course I apologized for having distracted him. He said, “No! There is only one person in charge of this train and responsible for everything that happens. And that’s me!” (pointing to himself)
I had one of those in my old house, he was named Jasper (don't know if that's his real name) and lived in my workshop/garage, usually under my car. In the end I built him a little bed out of old work jackets and a box, he was quite happy living in the garage.
When in New York, I suggest you take one of the subway lines that goes over the East River into Brooklyn from Manhattan. The B, D, N and Q lines go over the Manhattan bridge and the J and M lines go over the Williamsburg bridge. Both are worth doing, if you haven’t before.
Dale, like the idea of travelling to work video. Works well with Gerry Dyer on Big Jet TV in the odd occasion he does it, it’s made more fun when he loses his rag at fellow road users😅 plus I’m liking your pieces to camera when going to and from your cab. A second camera facing you and the train controls would be great in addition to the track view. Many top UA-cam travel videos have the driver/pilot/passenger being included which gives the videos a nice personal perspective. Keep up the great work and the cheesy bants 👍
Great video again Dale thanks. Long or short London Underground videos are welcome. Be nice to see more depot filming or rare sections of track. Regarding ghosts on the underground, Piccadilly line apparently is haunted - Covent garden i think plus Holborn or is it British Museum abandoned station? Are there any more? Looking forward to Caledonian Sleeper video. I see it at Crewe sometimes when it's running very late.
Talking of the sleeper quick turnaround, I once did in the 80’s a 10 hour turnaround, to save a hotel bill, it was a function in ware Hertfordshire, arrived by sleeper and got the 5:00 train back to Edinburgh
Great content as always. Your plans to come up north of the border sound fun. Unfortunately the 225s are never seen up this way any more and are usually limited to Leeds - kgx thus pretty much guaranteeing an azuma.
Wow why is London so quiet - enjoying the videos - would be interesting to see a full busy run 😎 ( always enjoy your patter as always makes me chuckle but be nice to Matt 😎)
“As I’ve got older, I’ve realised animals are better than people” amen Dale, amen.

Great content as always. Your plans to come up north of the border sound fun. Unfortunately the 225s are never seen up this way any more and are usually limited to Leeds - kgx thus pretty much guaranteeing an azuma.
At least that will give me some thing to moan about for 4 hrs 🤣🤣🤣
Wow why is London so quiet - enjoying the videos - would be interesting to see a full busy run 😎 ( always enjoy your patter as always makes me chuckle but be nice to Matt 😎)
Because I do the later shifts we tend to miss the worst of the rush hours
