    Hello Carlo, new to your channel. I've seen a few video reviews for boxing shoes of yours and finally decided to buy the 2.0 version of the Trainers. I had the same issue of the sizing as you regarding the 10.5 size ( my feet measures exactly 11 inches/28 cm). Your review helped me decide to go up and get the 11s. I am wearing them right now and they are extremely comfortable. The velcro wraps DEFINITELY help to adjust any extra space left on the shoe. These shoes are awesome!!! I think even more comfys than the Everlast elite which I had before and still love them) Thanks for your work!

      @@panchito1371 Hi Panchito, I think they are pretty accurate with the sizing, since the space left between my toe and the tip of the shoe is about .5 cm. They fit juuuust a bit loose, but the straps solve this "issue". I tried for a few days a pair of everlast in size 10 US and they were like 2mm to fit. Just enough to hurt my toe when training.

    Hi, I’ve always had issues with finding shoes that actually fit my feet. I usually wear size 8 (UK) due to my wide feet but measured my foot length recently and it’s about the length of a size 6 (UK) so I’m not sure what size or shoe to get. Im practically around size 6 (UK) length and size 8+(UK) width.
    As I’m starting sparring in boxing, I would like to not have an extra unwanted gap at the end of my shoe or an over tight shoe that doesn’t fit

    I love these shoes, and I have been using them for a few months now already. Have you tried the Adam V Max Trainers, or even some of the "fight night" shoes from Adams Footwear? I want to find out if the V Max Trainers can be nice for some of the more intense workouts, and switch to the O series for ring work, if they're good for that purpose. You really helped me find out what shoes to order with these, though. I have the white one.

    Hey Carlo I have a question for ya (I hope you see this). So I currently I’ve been using the title gel soft strike bag gloves, and I really like them but i want a compact all around training glove. I’ve currently been looking at the Fighting fury professional training gloves but I didn’t know how compact they are. I’d like to stay in the $100-$150 price range, and compact but still maintaining a 14-16oz weight and didn’t know if those fighting gloves were a good idea or if you’d recommend something else.

    • @c.jenkins5649
      @c.jenkins5649 2 роки тому +1

      Carlo's two-cents on this would be much better than mine, no doubt, but I'm a fan of Top Boxer for training gloves...tough to beat their quality for the price, especially if you want to go custom. I have the stock 14 and 16 oz Win1 model (based on the Winning brand, Japanese style)...prefer the 14 on bags because the padding is much stiffer than the 16 (personal preference, of course). I also just got the Top Boxer Alien model in stock 14oz (Mexican style, punchers glove) and it might be my favorite of all. I'd highly recommend either model...I believe Carlo has reviewed both the Win1 and Alien models.

    • @testableracer
      @testableracer 2 роки тому

      @@c.jenkins5649 would you say that the win1’s are pretty compact? That’s kind of my biggest thing right now. Currently I own a pit of cleto Reyes 16 oz lace up, infinitude raptor extreme 16oz lace up, and the title gel soft strike bag gloves. My favorite of the 3 have been infinitude. The padding is really nice but my knuckles don’t go through it like they do with the Reyes gloves and my knuckle on my right hand always bruises which is why I got the title gel gloves but they are huge. The infinitude’s are kinda compact and so are the Reyes but I’m looking for a Velcro closure, rn and I want to try a new brand as well as the gloves being compact.

    • @c.jenkins5649
      @c.jenkins5649 2 роки тому

      @@testableracer The 14 oz should work for you, it's a pretty firm padding compared to the 16 oz (16 oz Win1 are much softer...awesome for sparring, but if you are somewhat experienced, which it certainly sounds like you are, you may not love them on the bag). The folks at Top Boxer have told me they're working on making the gap in stiffness between the 14 and 16 oz Win1 gloves a bit less drastic.

    • @c.jenkins5649
      @c.jenkins5649 2 роки тому

      @@testableracer I've also found that Top Boxer's stock gloves are a good, snug fit as well (my hands aee probably a bit small on average) so don't be surprised if they're uncomfortable out of the box...but they break in absolutely beautifully!

    • @testableracer
      @testableracer 2 роки тому

      @@c.jenkins5649 yeah I got a custom headgear from top boxer that I absolutely love but as of right now I’m boxing on my own because the only boxing gym near me closed down and I have nowhere else to go so sparring isn’t a big thing to me because I can’t do it as of right now. I was wanting to try the win1 but yeah I’ve heard that about the difference between 14-16oz that’s why I wasn’t sure about getting them, but I might have to give them a try, thanks man I really appreciate it.
