People have doubt, which is warranted, but it is also largely because the talking heads keep pounding this low hanging fruit over and over and over. It's reality TV news.

Blame the media? Honestly? We all saw him in live action. He's in rough shape. Know what's even more telling? You haven't seen him in a live unscripted event since. You think there's going to be a second debate? Oh heck no.

It was a horrid debate, and I have tremendous concern going forward. But I am far more concerned by the recent SCOTUS rulings and project 2025, which gets lost among the low hanging fruit, because it is a topic that actually requires effort. It has also gotten far more coverage than Trumps manic rambling of lie after lie. I am not saying there isn't an issue with Biden's debate performance, but the coverage of it has been horrible and low effort. It's the buzzing of the bee that distracts you from the predator in the bushes.

These appearances are meaningless. People with early stage dementia can have lucid moments and follow instructions from notes or a teleprompter. We need to see how he does answering unscripted questions that require intelligence and excellent cognitive ability. Anything less is completely unacceptable for someone as the top leader of the United States and military.
