You have done an excellent job there Adam. Well done.
My brain is crying out to see that saw powered by a small engine and make it a "Cordless Portable Hacksaw" !!!
You never replaced the circlip back onto the pin you tried to knock out with the centre punch, it’s on the tub with the red lid.
As an apprentice welder in the 1970s. Sat at one of these for hours. Cutting angle iron to weld test pieces. Happy days.
Hi Adam, Yes you have made a nice job of that cannot wait to see the finished result. You take care of yourself and stay safe.🛠️🛠️⭐️👌
I picked one of these up a few years back. I use molyslip on the slide ways. Enjoy your saw😊
ps. don't forget to put oil in the plunger pot, as it's what dampens the saw 👍
It's a lovely saw. Never seen anything like it. Thanks for the video.
Great Job. hope the rest goes well when the electric motor is fitted. Bob
That looks like a good candidate to be powered by a stationary engine on the rally field if the motor turns out to be a lemon.
Yes Mr fenn great one mate 👍🏻👍🏻
No Ha aaaaaaaar at the end Adam 🤔 really enjoy watching your videos .
You need some play on the saw slides otherwise the motor will not have enough torque to start. Also the slides need plenty of oil. That saw was made when men were men and a packet of sugar did not have heavy lift written on it.
That would be lovely powered by one of your engines.
Be great to see it going.
ASI live in Diss have you ever visited Mr Gillings. Army surplus store . You may find some interesting items there😀
Does that dashpot thingumajig need to be filled with oil?
Circlip !! still on top of the tub of grease 👀 🤦♂
