i definitely heard a lot of half life sound effects in the game, explosions come to mind. I think that might have been a generic soundbite that a lot of developers used back in the late 90s/2000s though
@ idk, I had like 5 fps for the first minute of Faust fight before it stabilized, I got killed like 10 times because of that until I managed to just hide somewhere and spam medkits hoping to survive lol
i did exactly the same thing. Had the saiga in hand, panicked at the boars, then reloaded before getting teleported again. Then I just unloaded the mag into the pseudogiant... quickest clicks I ever clicked in my life.
This scene made me remember good ol' Half-Life, when the experiment in test chamber went south - Gordon gets teleported to random Zen locations finding himself among the monsters. The only difference is that they were not hostile.
when i realized what it was doing, i was so expecting a reference to the first game of "MARKED ONE? WUT DA HELLLL". but yeah the pseudogiant scared me a bit
For anyone who is crashing or getting stuck in the portal at this part: When you teleport to the boars or the pseudo giant room (whatever part you're stuck on) pause your game for a solid 2 or 3 mins and let everything load fully. This worked for me although i will say it took me a few tries to even get the game to pause.
Remember when I got attacked by the boars I was being forced backwards. When it teleported me into the room with the mutant I shot once and then realized he wasn’t about to charge. Ngl Felt bad for dude and just reloaded the shotgun before getting teleported away
dude. i litteraly cant progress due to this teleport. I am stuck, it only loads the first part and as u experience it teleports you again, however ig my game cant handle this and takes forever to load, by forever i mean it never ends. big shame
that was very cheap tbh. Makes no Sense and just breaks immersion. I legit thought it was a bug at first. Since its so random and without any visual or audio queue that the teleporter is working lmao. Sometimes less is more, they just could've put a cutscene for that or something
Too bad the portals are bugged to hell and always freeze for a bit and things take too long to load in. There’s one portal that drops you from a high level onto a bounce anomaly on a roof but things like anomalies don’t spawn in fast enough to catch you so you die every time until you immediately open the weapon wheel and hold it open to put the game into bullet time so the game has time to load everything in. Damn Unreal5 really fu*ked this game.
@@nekro5950 well you can also complete this quest without actually glitching and exploiting the game just to progress, can't say the same for zalissya. For me the monolith didn't spawn, I had to lure them from a whole other location for 10 mins, Hamster died to the doorway (had to just cope with that one) and Warlock's gun didn't spawn so I had to save and refresh just to spawn it - all in one playthrough. @@Sgt_Kane I know Zalissia defence is also very buggy for most players, but in my case only order of objectives was glitched, I could complete it.
