When Brookside residents need somewhere else to live they rarely make much effort. It’s either bludge off neighbours or move into one of the flats above the parade.
I like Bing he was one of my favourite Brookie characters but the way he moans at Max and says to him 1:38:23 “with your track record” and “your a philanderer” Bing forgets the year before he bonked Audrey behind Jeans back and he begged Jean for forgiveness, pathetically. Cheeky sod😬
1:30:12 I swear, Gary Stanlow is an absolute Grade-A moron. I get he needs the rest of his gear from Number 10, but why would he ever risk going ahead and sneaking upstairs after seeing Jimmy asleep downstairs? Anyone with any sense wouldn’t have risked it and waited until the house was empty.
@@Ronald_Custard That makes sense. I was pretty sure she didn’t think Spock from Star Trek was a childminder but I still didn’t get the reference nonetheless.
Jimmy is unaware that strangling a member of the public (even a no-mark like Gary) is forbidden by B.R.A rules. Anyone violating this will have their B.R.A membership cancelled and forfeiture of subscriptions.
I don’t know what eating disorder service Katie went to, but from personal experience I can say they are not at all like that!! No NHS psychologist is that informal, well not the ones I’ve met. “Let’s be mates”….haha. Katie’s eating disorder was extremely mild tho…like it lasted a month or two🙄
Patricia and Max were a great couple indeed, you’re spot on. I don’t know what or how but I know Patricia disappears and Max and Susannah end up back together, but they were never as good together on-screen as Max and Pat. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks it!
@@misternobodywhatsoever4752 that's true. 2 years after Max got back with Susannah, he cheated on her again with her friend she met at College and it had been going on for years

Bangkok Customs needed a Scouse-dialect interpreter to continue the conversation with Ron Dicko
Great to see Bing back
Jackie Corkhill is actually a good actress. She's not a Scouser yet she's got all the mannerisms and little sayings down to a tee. Yies lol.
She is actually from Liverpool. She just didn't have as broad an accent in real life as she portrayed on Brookie.
Sue Jenkins yes she was born in Liverpool
Max doesn’t half go round the houses. Flipping heck!

Jackie Dixon and Katie Rogers only have to move next door back to Ron Dixons house.😅😅😅😅
Sin used to run around the quayside when he was four months old?
Poor Max. Can’t even innocently ask someone for directions without being accused of all sorts.
Well well, ive caught myself a whopper.
1:40:41 wrong Julia, it’s May not March
The arresting officer had previously eaten at Grant’s, didn’t like the food and held a grudge against Maxie.
Sin cleans windows at night 😆

Exactly. What he did was nasty by using his own daughter to get back at his wife
34:17 That reference went way over my head. I know Julia malapropisms are common but that was lost on me.
She was meant to say Dr Spock the famous child rearing Doctor but instead she said Mr Spock from Star Trek

Patricia and Max were a great couple. Unfortunately the irritating Susannah sticks her nose in.
Susannah was married to Max when he left her for Patricia.
Susannah never let him forget that
