"accept or leave it" and some actually said that the scenario for what the Halo was planned for never happened when it already happened a few times in a number of Formula series with some fatalities... and after it was introduced, it already proved to be useful a few times.
Not only crashing. Imagine what goes through you head when you just had contact with another drivers car and immidiately after you see an explosion in your rear mirror.
2020: Year of the halo We could have had the worst year in F1 history without the halo, so the fact that F1 stuck to it is just epic. Plus, as it makes the cars THAT much safer, the crashes are mostly dramatic and not scary like they used to be. Big up 🕺

What a season it was! The amount of heavy crashes was insanely high! and everyone got out safe! the amount of crashes is not a measurement of excitement, but it does count to create a spectacular season, where every driver pushes to the limit... can't wait untill the next season start
He was going to get a podium on pure pace and had his race ended. Gutted for him multiple times this season. Could have been on the podium 4-5 times if he wasn't unlucky.
The Grosjean crash was the first F1 Grand Prix I had ever seen. Feeling my heart drop when that crash happened is something I will always remember. After researching how far F1 has come safety wise. Its amazing to see him walk away from that crash. scary stuff.

What’s truly scary is aside from the fire neither of those crashes were as kinetically violent as Grojean’s. He could have easily ended up like Francois Cevert or Helmut Koinigg without the halo.

Now I realise how dangerous crashes can be and that they are very serious. Despite hating Grosjean with passion, I am glad that he survived so he can see his wife and children again
I remember me and my dad seeing Grosjean crash live. That was a horrific crash. Thank the lord he lived, it proved the halos worth, and even though years ago I did not really like the look of it, I’m glad it is here now.
