More people gotta play this game it’s so underrated not to mention its on game pass. With the nice graphics and vrr man this game is smooth and pretty to look at.
Aye. I missed Warhammer online and it open pvp. Haven't you guys notice, it's always us the trespassers who started a home invasion. And dub it as a video game. 😂
ATTENTION FELLOW NOOBS: The executioner sword is an excellent weapon for new players. its regular attack is a wide sweep that deals well with crowds while the power attack is a precise downward slash that will more or less instakill anything that is not a boss. It kinda sucks for blocking, but you don't reaally need to block that much untill you hit the Champion difficulty.
this is quite an excellent beginner guide. one thing i would say is that when i introduce friends to vermintide (have successfully recruited a good few by now...) i always tell them to consider their weapons moveset. you talked about this when you said the weapon brought changed the role of a career in a team, which is true, but even more basic than that is combos. the big two things to think about if you dont know them all by heart that i tell people is to think about which combos do wide sweeps for hordes, and which combos do heavy attacks and overheads for elites. learning that early on can really help you think on the fly and adapt to every weapon in chaos wastes.
Thats true. The combos makes big difference. F.e. Kruber's sword and shield can be excelent crowd controler or elite killer. Always is good to take (new) weapon and swing with it in the keep, to learn the moves and how to combine them :D I like this aspect, because it rewards you for not just mashing lmb. If you are not using Saltz's rapier, then mash it like no tomorow :D
I’ve almost 1,000 hours in this game, but stepped away before WoM dropped. I found out so much useful information from this video! Knowing what types of weapons work best with Smiter/Mainstay will make trying different weapons so much more fun. Speaking of using different weapons, are you going to expand on your weapon guides? I know RoyalewithCheese has a ton of useful information on Steam already, but listening and seeing your (and WetMagic’s) thought process behind your weapon choices for certain builds would be wonderful. Love the content and I’m earful waiting for more. Take care!
I think it's important to talk about the fov, how it is vertical fov, and how it can make the game harder if you think that you have to crank it up to the max because pc master race. Everything over 85 makes it hard to calculate distances and weapon ranges, imo
FOV is purely based on player preference. Some people like lower FOV, some people like higher FOV. I know Fuplaayz plays at the absolute max FOV, but I can't go any higher than 90 since it starts to make me sick
Recommendation for colab videos (in my opinion). Instead of someone talking for the first half, and the second person talking the latter half, switch on and off and have some interaction with each other. Love both your channels but it just felt like I watched a 9 minute Wetmagic video then a 9 minute jtc video, not a colab. Also it just kinda felt the video ended abruptly with no real outro. Either way great beginner video.
It takes some time, to learn when to use potions and bombs. For long time i was keeping them in the inventory too and ending not using them, when i should, because i was dead by then :D They are kinda rare and useful, but they have zero value, when team goes down. F.e. throw fire bomb on horde of unarmored enemies (raki slaves, ...) when you are in bad place. You could kill them on melee, but you never know, when boss or specials will arrive and it is better to had clean place to deal with them. Big pack of monks or black furs, throw them the explosive bomb on their heads and done. Better than risking loosing hp.
@@williamdipperly Yes, this is what i meant by the "black furs". The patrol of skavens. It is good against the beastman patrol too, but not so great against chaos patrol. But i think, that monks are most vulnerable against fire. And most dangerous due to their chaotic movements and great dps.
Mb im foolin around but what about builds by Core ? Can newcome/experiensed players use them or these bulds better suit for maniacs who play beyond cataclysm ? difuclty ?
You can use builds by whoever you want, there are no builds that are reserved only for "newbies" or only for c3dwons players. You can get just as much use out of his builds playing champion as a modded player can playing c3dwons
Thx for the answer will know for the future. And one more question: i'll mb try to make begginer guide for vermintide 2 on russian langruage so you dont mind if i adapt some moments from your video ?
I'd say there is a little bit of a difference between higher difficulty builds though. First off they are most of the times not as save, because core already knows how to play and doesnt get hit too much (I mean everyone does but yk what I mean) this is why the builds are more based on the max damage output than a mix of save playing with a team that deals medium damage (which is more than enough on lower difficulties) And the builds are 99% meta which means some weapons or talents arent even considered in the first place which can be fin but simply dont work in modded. (you can see that in core's video about a weapon tierlist, where he sais that some weapons are great in official but useless in modded) But generally sure you can use any build you want and those do ofc work well.
I disagree on comparing builds between live and modded difficulties. The Cata builds are relevant for Legend-Cata, and the Legend builds are relevant for Champ-Legend. DW/Ons/C3 are their own ball game. As long as you use builds for the appropriate difficulty then you are fine.
Just started like an hour ago. Already loving the pace of this game. Don't understand even half of what ya'll are talking about, especially regarding specific weapon abilities, cause like, how the hell am I, a new player, going to know about these things? Probably good information, but not taking it from the perspective a brand new player. Like tell us how to level up, get new gear, ect. Alot of assumptions being made in this video.
Sorry but this is a terrible guide... it didn't explain anything of what I was curious about. Things like marks, blocked grey health, enemy types and what they do, weapon types, blocking mechanics etc
The Grudge marks didn't exist back when the video was made sadly so there is no information that they could've give you. You can find information about the grudge marks in the Steam Guides when you search for "Chaos Waste Mechanic Handbook" I can't send you a link for whatever reason because UA-cam deletes the comment if I do. Blocked health comes through picking up grims which is one type of book you can pick up in a map which you can see here: 1:25 (1:51) Grims block 33% of your Hp bar that can get decreased with a property called curse resistance. Grey health or also called temp health, thp, temporary health is explained here: 4:44 Regarding Weapon types this game has a lot of different weapons that are mostly very unique to each other so explaining every single one in detail is not possible in a short amount of time. Blocking mechanics are fairly simple explained: if you right click with a melee weapon you block. You have stamina shields that you loose when you block an attack. When your block is broken you open up and have to wait a brief moment until you can block again. You can change the values of the stamina with the properties: Stamina (which will give you 1 more shield (2 stamina = 1 shield)), Block Cost Reduction (Which will reduce the stamina lost when blocking an attack) and Stamina revovery rate (which will recover your stamina faster and also closes your block faster again once it was broken). Generally I can highly suggest checking out one of the many discord servers where there are many active people at all times that are happy to help and explain you every last small detail about the game ✌️ For UA-cam probably the UA-camrs: jtclive, wetmagic and thepartyknife will be your number one source of information about everything you need to know. Vermintide 2 in general is a very complex game in its game mechanics, as a matter of fact so extremely complex that even players with thousands of hours dont exactly know how everything works in detail. So trying to explain everything in 20 min what some didn't achieve in 5000+ hours is to say impossible haha.
I would recommend timestamps guys.
Whoops, forgot to add them. Fixed :)

YES YES YES. I needed this to show people Vermintide 2
The stagger explanation here was much clearer than in your other video. Great job!
This is the best, most concise guide I've found so far. You go into a lot of useful detail but it's simple enough for a beginner guide. Thank you
Well done. I follow you both so I knew most of this except the part about the heal stacking at 7:26

I believe the skull next to the portrait of wounded players is from a mod.
Nope, it's from the game itself
Its from the Numeric UI mod, yes
there is another icon in the base game that shows the same thing

which class was swinging sword at stagger explanation, pls ?
I've played 1500 hours of this game, why am I here😂

the fire bomb is better at dealing with patrols if you can keep them in the fire for the full duration
